Cars and Talky returns to Amelia Island! One year ago, the Cars and Talky podcast was born at Amelia Island during concours weekend. This year I am joined by Christian of @Southeast.exotics. We spent most of the Saturday together from Cars and Community, to seeing what was rolling in to the concours lawn fo the Sunday main event. Our day concluded with the attendance of a private Hangar event at the airport with some fun stories. We hope you enjoy this episode, we had a great time and the stories are ones we will never forget.Follow on instagram @carsandtalky and @mackeycars Hosted on Acast. This episode I am at Mobile Bay cars and coffee. This local event happens four times a year and this is the last one of 2022. I am joined by my Fiance Vivian who has been mentioned several times in previous episodes as my girlfriend. WOOHOO, I put a ring on it! We talk about her preference of cars and some of our favorites from the event. To alleviate some of the stress of keeping up conversation we are joined by several show spectators, including one guy who promises to do a burnout, and certainly follows through on that promise. On this episode I am joined by my parents as we attend the local quarterly Cars and Coffee in Mobile, Alabama. This was a fun one since my mom enjoys my passion for cars but needs some explaining on things. We come to the conclusion that all car shows need a Mom to keep everyone in line. We had our first walk up Guest! Jon came to the show in his IS300 and we talk about some of the cars at the show and really anything else that comes up. If you enjoy this episode follow on instagram and enjoy the five other episodes we have uploaded. Thanks! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Paul and Katie are repeat guest of the Cars and Talky Podcast. This week they are taking part in the Hot Rod Power tour as a vendor. It has been a fun week of hanging out with muscle car gear heads and sharing lots of stories. We talk about a few of those stories and the continued growth of AutoBio. This was a short episode as the fourth day stop was wrapping up. I hope you enjoy this episode and look forward to future episodes. This episode of Cars and Talky is recorded from Birmingham Cars and Coffee. This is the cars and coffee event that I first became a part of while I was attending college. Josh Buchanan is my guest and we have some conversations about cars, paint colors, crazy prices of cars, and the unique things the Birmingham car community has to offer. I hope you enjoy this episode, and make sure you subscribe for any future episodes. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Cars and Coffee! Finally, the cars and coffee podcast has recorded its first episode at a cars and coffee event, and it was amazing! We both try our hand at live commentary while watching cars depart the event, give some hot takes on cars we got to see for the first time and share some random interactions with people passing by. This is a fun one. Enjoy! This week Cars and Talky is at Biloxi Cars and Coffee. This is a quarterly event and by the way it turns out, people have been itching to get out with fellow enthusiasts. I am joined by my good friend James Zimmer and we really had a blast recording this one. We had some great discussion while sitting on a bench watching the attendees of the show get dispersed by the police. We hope you enjoy this one as much as we did! Hosted on Acast. Recording from the lobby of the Amelia Island Auction hall, I have a great conversation with Paul and Katie Rooprai, the founders of AutoBio. A very unique way of compiling information about your car and sharing it with anyone! They have had an eventful 10 months taking part in the Sema Launchpad last year, earning them a booth at the prestigious show in November. Listen to us talk about the interesting cars we have seen so far and what things we are looking forward to over the following days.
