Don't try to define it; it's bigger than Webster's definition. In today's social media, news, and halls of Congress… Disclosure is a hot topic. In order to understand Disclosure, we must first understand the Black Swan Event. By definition,  a Black Swan event is a highly rare, unpredictable occurrence with massive and severe, widespread consequences that is often inappropriately rationalized in hindsight, as if it could have been foreseen. These extremely rare events, lying far outside normal expectations,  defy standard forecasting, causing major systemic disruptions and dramatically impact finance, politics, science, technologies, accademia, and society.A Black Swan Event, for all intents and purposes, are so improbable, they should not take place… yet occasionally, they do. Covid19… Possible, but highly improbable. Won't happen in a modern world. Yet it did, and over 7 million lives were lost. The 9/11 attacks on US soil. Could happen, but with multiple threat detection and stop-gap technologies defending the US, it was highly improbable. Won't happen. Yet it did. Three thousand lives ended, the NY skyline changed forever, and it had a massive impact on global economics.Black Swan Events… Possible, but highly improbable.Disclosure is a Black Swan Event… it just hasn't happened yet.Seventy percent of Americans believe in Extraterrestrial life… UFOs, UAPs, USOs, Non-Human Intelligence, and Trans-Medium Crafts. Forty Nine Percent of Americans believe that these Non-Human Intelligence (ETs and Aliens), are not only real… they are in fact, here amongst us and working with world leaders to coexist. Sounds a little crazy…? Yeah, I'd agree with you.Disclosure, by definition, is the action of making new or secret information known. The President of the United States addressing the people of the world to tell them that Aliens are real… That's Disclosure. It's Highly Improbable… Can't be real… Never gonna happen…It's a Black Swan Event that could change the world in ways we can't even conceive of. And thats what we're talking about tonight. In case you haven't heard, there's a new documentary that came out called, “The Age Of Disclosure”.  Government and world leaders, from their mouths to your ears, will explain everything. “The Age of Disclosure”, I'll put a link in the show notes.Jeremy and I are joined by Bobby Spags to discuss disclosure and how it's important to the Prepper Survivalist community. Please Visit Our Affiliate Links to Find Great Preparedness Products:The Age Of Disclosure Movie on PrimeThe Alien Invasion Survival Handbook PaperbackAlien Country Survival Handbook PaperbackHow To Survive an Alien Abduction PaperbackSupport the show

I want to alert you, so you don’t miss out on expert analysis and insider perspectives from my guests who provide tips that can help you uplift the community, improve your financial planning, motivation, or advice on how to be a successful entrepreneur. Keep winning! Felecia Hatcher CEO of Black Ambition, the national entrepreneurial initiative founded by Grammy-winning artist Pharrell Williams. Black Ambition provides capital, mentorship, mental wellness support, and a nationally competitive platform for Black and Hispanic founders, particularly those from HBCUs and underserved communities. Throughout the conversation, Hatcher breaks down the mission of Black Ambition, how its competition works, success stories, the mentorship pipeline, and her personal entrepreneurial journey from being a self‑described “C student” to running a major national innovation fund. Purpose of the Interview 1. Introduce Black Ambition’s Mission and Impact To explain how Black Ambition funds, mentors, and accelerates Black and Hispanic founders, awarding millions in capital and building pathways to long-term entrepreneurial success. 2. Educate Entrepreneurs on How to Compete Successfully Hatcher breaks down the application process, common mistakes, and how to stand out in one of the nation’s most competitive entrepreneurial prize competitions. 3. Inspire Through Transparency and Personal Storytelling Her journey—from a C student to tech entrepreneur, to CEO working directly with Pharrell—models what perseverance and creativity can achieve. 4. Spread Awareness of Black Ambition Resources & Events She highlights opportunities like Demo Day, masterclasses, mentorship cohorts, and the Fundable Founders Forum. Key Takeaways 1. Black Ambition Creates “Unprecedented Access” for Black & Brown Founders Hatcher emphasizes the organization’s mission of closing opportunity gaps caused by misaligned mentorship and unequal access to funding.Black Ambition invests capital, provides structured mentorship, and connects entrepreneurs to world-class partners (e.g., Louis Vuitton). 2. Highly Competitive National Competition 2,500–3,000 applications annually Only 250 semifinalists Semifinalists enter a three‑month cohort with elite mentorship Top teams advance to Demo Day for capital awards and follow-on support Categories include HBCU, National Finalists, Top Prize, and People’s Choice.. Hatcher stresses: Success leaves clues. Many past winners share insights, host office hours, and guide new applicants. 3. The Process Itself Makes Founders Stronger Hatcher says repeated applications build clarity, sharpen pitches, and transform entrepreneurs—even if they don’t win the first time. She cites an example: Lawrence Phillips, founder of Green Book Global, who succeeded on his third try. 4. Holistic Approach: Mental Health & Wellness Along with capital and mentorship, Black Ambition offers mental-wellness support because entrepreneurship is emotionally taxing.Founders are encountering proximity to wealth and power for the first time, and need guidance on transparency, investor expectations, and emotional resilience. 5. Black Women Are Fastest-Growing Entrepreneurs—But Need Teams Hatcher notes that Black women lead in entrepreneurship but often operate without teams.Black Ambition does not invest in solopreneurs; founders must demonstrate team-building capacity to create economic multiplier effects in communities. 6. Pharrell’s Why: Opening Doors He Once Needed Pharrell invests in Black Ambition because: He once needed others to “believe in him until he could believe in himself.” He wants to dismantle gatekeeping in industries where Black talent exists but opportunity does not. He believes “talent is not equally distributed by zip code, but opportunity can be.” 7. Felecia Hatcher’s Personal Origin Story Her credibility comes from lived experience: A “C student” told she’d never make it to college College dropout Built multiple tech companies Founded Black Tech Week and the Center for Black Innovation Comes from a family of Jamaican farmers and Georgia builders who were “entrepreneurs before the word was used.”. Her takeaway: Creativity builds pathways to success that traditional systems overlook. 8. The Event is Public – and Transformational Black Ambition’s Demo Day is open to the public, creating visibility, inspiration, and networking opportunities for founders and supporters. Notable Quotes (All from the Transcript) On Black Ambition’s Mission “We’ve been building a rocket ship to create unprecedented access to opportunities and resources.”. “People are too comfortable wasting the time of Black entrepreneurs with misaligned resources and low-vibrational mentorship.”. On the Competition “Success leaves clues.” “Apply again… every time I applied, I became a different entrepreneur.” On Holistic Support “Entrepreneurship can swallow you whole.”. On Team Building “We don’t invest in solopreneurs… You need a team mindset.” On Pharrell’s Motivation “He borrowed someone else’s belief in him until that became his own.” “Talent is not equally distributed by zip code, but opportunity can be.” On Personal Journey “I’m a C student and a college dropout… I never let those things define me.”. “There is more than one pathway to success if you get creative.”. On Why Founders Should Join “Do you want to be in the same position this time next year? If the answer is no, then say yes to the process.” #SHMS #STRAW #BESTSteve Harvey Morning Show Online: http://www.steveharveyfm.com/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

What if the biggest barrier to event fundraising success isn't budget, marketing, or even donor fatigue- but a lack of leadership buy-in within your own organisation? In this episode, Simon Scriver sits down with Pascale Harvie, President of JustGiving, to unpack their 2026 Event Fundraising Snapshot report and reveal what's really driving results in the sector. Despite cost-of-living pressures across the UK, event fundraising raised over £235 million on JustGiving alone in 2025—a 6% year-on-year increase. But the data reveals a surprising truth: 71% of charities that exceeded their event fundraising targets had one thing in common; leadership teams that made events a key priority. Pascale shares the standout case study of Endometriosis UK, a small team that doubled their event income to £250K by starting small, tracking demand, and proving results to leadership. Their secret? Focus, efficiency, and making fundraisers feel valued- not a massive budget or team. In this episode, you'll discover: - Why 71% of successful charities prioritise event fundraising at the leadership level - The gap between belief and resourcing: 78% say events are essential, but only 28% feel properly resourced - How running events (especially 10Ks and half marathons) are driving the fastest growth - The biggest challenges facing charities: cost-of-living pressures, rising event costs, and staff burnout - Why 1 million fundraising pages and 18 million donations prove the public's commitment hasn't disappeared - Pascale's advice on making the internal case for event fundraising investment - What's next for JustGiving, including exciting AI developments on the horizon Check out JustGiving 2026 Events Fundraising Snapshot Click here to subscribe to our email list for exclusive fundraising resources, early access to training, special discounts and more If you enjoyed this episode, don't forget to hit follow and enable notifications so you'll get notified to be first to hear of future podcast episodes.

In 2018, Ghislaine Maxwell—despite years of public allegations connecting her to Jeffrey Epstein's trafficking operation—was invited to and attended Jeff Bezos's elite and secretive literary retreat known as Campfire. The event, hosted by Bezos annually, brings together top authors, tech moguls, and media power players at a private location for a weekend of discussions, panels, and informal networking. Maxwell's presence at the retreat raised eyebrows, not only because of her reputation by that point, but also because it demonstrated how seamlessly she continued to move through the highest levels of elite society even after Epstein's 2008 conviction. Her attendance revealed a stunning level of normalization and acceptance within powerful circles, despite her growing notoriety.Maxwell reportedly arrived at the Campfire event alongside entrepreneur Scott Borgerson, a figure later revealed to be in a close relationship with her, though he denied any romantic involvement at the time. Attendees included influential figures from Silicon Valley, publishing, and entertainment—none of whom publicly objected to her presence. The revelation of her invitation has sparked renewed scrutiny into how the world's wealthiest and most influential people continued to welcome Epstein's known enablers into their inner circles long after the broader public became aware of their roles. It serves as yet another example of how elite spaces often insulate their own, regardless of the crimes that surround them.source:https://www.cnbc.com/2019/11/01/jeffrey-epstein-friend-ghislaine-maxwell-was-guest-at-jeff-bezos-event.htmlBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

In this engaging campfire conversation, Larry Weishuhn sits down with Rick Lambert at Baker Bottoms to talk quail hunting traditions, shotgun preferences, habitat conservation, and a lifetime passion for the outdoors. Rick shares highlights from his recent experience at the historic Grand National Quail Hunt in Enid, Oklahoma, discussing the camaraderie, competition, and conservation focus that make the event special. The conversation expands into broader reflections on declining quail populations, the importance of habitat management, and the evolution of firearms and ammunition. Blending storytelling, technical insight, and classic outdoor nostalgia, this episode celebrates the heritage of upland hunting and the people working to preserve it. Rick recounts being invited to the long-running hunt dating back to the 1940s. Event combines: Two days of hunting Four days of fellowship and fundraising Strong emphasis on habitat preservation and conservation. Rick's team won both the trap shoot and quail competition. Takeaway: The hunt is as much about relationships and conservation as it is about shooting. Larry and Rick discuss the troubling decline of quail populations, especially in Texas. Key factors discussed: Habitat destruction (especially fence line clearing) Disease pressures (including eye worm issues) Changes in land management practices Rick emphasizes: “You cannot destroy the habitat of anything.” Both hosts reflect nostalgically on hearing bobwhite whistles in their youth versus today's scarcity. Rick describes himself as a traditional double-barrel enthusiast. His preferences: Strong love for side-by-side and over-under shotguns Favors sub-gauges, especially the 28 gauge Appreciates wood and steel over synthetic materials Believes .410 is often too challenging for beginners Notable insight: “If you call yourself a shot, you can kill anything with a sub-gauge that you can with a 12 gauge.” Rick shares how his views evolved over time: Early resistance to polymer pistols like Glock Eventually adopted them after seeing their practical advantages Still emotionally prefers traditional firearms This segment provides a thoughtful look at balancing tradition with modern performance. The conversation shifts into lever-action rifles and classic hunting arms. Discussed favorites: Savage 99 (especially in .300 Savage) Marlin rifles (post-Ruger acquisition quality improvements) Browning BLR Ruger No. 1 Rick shares a lifelong dream tied to the Savage 99 and traditional deer camps in the Northeast. Both men stress responsible hunting: Know your personal limits first Know your firearm's limits second Avoid wounding game Practice at distance to improve close-range precision Larry explains that long-range practice is about building confidence for ethical shots inside 100 yards. Rick reflects on future hunting goals: Considering bird hunting trips to Scotland or Sweden Has hunted Africa, New Zealand, Canada, and Mexico Plans to focus more on wing shooting as he ages Memorable line: “At 75 I'm going to start shooting feathers because I love shotgunning.” This episode delivers classic campfire storytelling mixed with practical hunting wisdom. It will especially resonate with: Upland bird hunters Shotgun traditionalists Conservation-minded outdoorsmen Fans of classic firearms The conversation reinforces that great hunting is about heritage, habitat, and the people you share camp with. “Most firearms have more character than we do as shooters.” Learn More: DSC Foundation: dscf.org Dallas Safari Club: biggame.org Learn more about your ad choices. This episode, we're talking with Becca Schweitzer, Client Strategist at O.C. Tanner, about the top three things you should keep in mind when planning for your next company-wide recognition event like Employee Appreciation Day.  Becca partners with our clients to plan successful, meaningful recognition events throughout the year. She also has on-the-ground experience working in HR for a healthcare organization as an employee engagement coordinator, planning (and cleaning up after) these important appreciation moments.   Stick around for the end of the episode where we talk about ideas you can implement at your own workplace.  Takeaways:  Start your planning with feedback and lessons learned from previous events. What went well? What was difficult for your HR team? What resonated with employees? This will help you craft your event plan: dates, times, communications, gifts, and experiences.   Involve leaders early in the planning process to deliver meaningful, inclusive recognition moments. Your leaders know your people best, and they will be key in delivering this recognition experience—especially for offline or remote teammates.   Maximize impact beyond the event. Use this time to showcase your recognition tools, teach your people when and how to use them, and encourage behaviors by rewarding employees who use recognition tools the most.  The Culture by Design podcast is created by O.C. Tanner, the global leader in software and services that improve workplace culture through meaningful employee recognition.   If you want your organization to become a place where people can't wait to come to work in the morning, go to octanner.com.
