Interviews, rants, and other general douchebaggery from industrial punk upstart Matt Fanale, better known as Caustic
I'm leavin' Podomatic. My NEW feed is off of www.tellmeaboutmyuterus.com. I'f you listen to me on iTunes RESUBSCRIBE. Sorry for the inconvenience. I thought this would be seamless but, alas, 'tisn't. Thanks.
Here between your earholes is the Booze Up and Riot commentary. I fixed the original track that for some reason didn't actually mix in the music, so this is a bit new, improved, and all that stuff. Enjoy. 2009's This is Jizzcore parts one AND two is coming up in the next few weeks and then a NEW, ORIGINAL episode with the commentary for THE GOLDEN VAGINA OF FAME AND PROFIT. W00t.
"Part II" of my interview with Brian from The Gothsicles and Eric Gottesman of Everything Goes Cold. Eric just got to the party. Let the stupid flow...
I intended to do 2 separate podcasts-- one with Brian from The Gothsicles and one with Eric Gottesman of Everything Goes Cold, but due to time constraints and Eric showing up at the end of Brian's segment we just forged through and now this is actually part ONE of two. Eric's interview will be next week. Enjoy.
I had to redo the opening to this because somehow it glitched, but I rock some of my favorite early-mid 90s Britpop that I hearted the hell out of and still listen to quite a bit today. A chill return to the podcast, but the crazy will return. If anything, I prove I know way too much about Justin Frischmann.:)
In the midst of playing massive catch-up on the new CD and getting together stuff for the UK Resistanz Festival in early April I decided to present the FIRST of the Caustic CD commentary tracks for my debut Crunch Pod/Static Sky CD UNICORNS, KITTENS, & SHIT. Basically a bunch of ppl getting drunk and making fun of me and each other. Good times...
Scott Walker still refuses to compromise, even though the union has offered all of the concessions he demanded. All we asked was to retain our collective bargaining rights. Scott Walker is not a leader. He serves billionaire interests like the Koch Brothers and those who represent their own "vested interests" rather than those who are the ones working to make them money. Please check out the prank call between Walker and a "Koch" brother to understand how easy it is for a billionaire to get through to our state's highest office...when half a million voices protesting are ignored. This week's mix includes everyone from Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip to The Street Dogs to Stromkern to The Clash. Thanks for listening, and thanks for supporting the middle class workers of this country. This isn't about money. It's about having equal ground at the bargaining table. And you better believe this affects union AND non-union workers. That's why there aren't just unions out supporting this, my friends. Unions represent working people. They aren't perfect, but they don't represent profits or stock options or billionaires. Never forget that. Solidarity.
