Lors du Conseil des ministres hier (mardi 11 février), Gustavo Petro a raconté que la veille, il n'avait pas pu atterrir comme prévu dans le département de Cordoba, dans le nord du pays, dans lequel opère le Clan del Golfo, son équipe craignant pour sa sécurité, rapporte le journal Semana. L'hélicoptère dans lequel il se trouvait avec ses enfants, aurait pu être visé par des tirs. ⇒ Le journal Semana. Le chef de l'État a également affirmé avoir échappé à un complot afin de l'empêcher d'assister à la rencontre prévue avec Donald Trump, la semaine dernière, explique El Tiempo. D'après le président colombien, un haut gradé de la police, le général Edwin Urrego, aurait reçu l'ordre de cacher de la drogue dans sa voiture. Actuellement à la tête de la police de Cali, il a auparavant dirigé la police de Barranquilla et a été directeur des Enquêtes judiciaires et d'Interpol, précise le journal. « C'est un homme irréprochable », indique une source policière consultée par El Tiempo. « Toute sa carrière est consacrée au renseignement policier, à la lutte contre le trafic de drogue et les bandes criminelles. » Le journal Semana ne croit pas non plus à cette histoire de complot et parle d'un « malentendu ». Le stockage de toutes ces données prend de la place et consomme de l'énergie et de l'eau. Les habitants de la commune de Quilicura, au nord de Santiago du Chili, ont lancé une opération, il y a quelques jours, pour alerter sur le coût environnemental de l'IA. La zone humide située près de chez eux alimente en eau les systèmes de rafraîchissment des centres de données. Mais le cadre réglementaire n'a pas évolué aussi vite, explique Nicolás Díaz, architecte qui travaille sur les centre de données de Quilicura et leur impact sur la zone humide de la commune. « Le plan d'urbanisme de la métropole de Santiago ne reconnaît pas les centres de données comme une catégorie particulière de bâtiments, ni leurs impacts spécifiques qui devraient engender des compensations. Alors les centre données sont autorisés à s'installer par le Service d'impact environnemental qui les considère comme des bâtiments qui stockent du combustible, pas comme des bâtiments qui consomment de l'énergie, de l'eau, qui peuvent générer de la chaleur ou de la pollution sonore. » Au Chili mais aussi en Uruguay et au Mexique, d'autres riverains se mobilisent pour réclamer des comptes aux entreprises comme Google, Microsoft ou Amazon. Certaines ont dû reculer. A Cerrillos au Chili, Google a dû revoir son système de refroidissement, après une procédure en justice. Certaines compagnies réalisent des projets de compensation mais ils manquent de sérieux, critique l'architecte Nicolás Díaz. « Les big tech disent qu'elles compensent en restaurant une mangrove en Colombie par exemple. Au Chili, Microsoft a un projet de récupération des eaux dans la commune de Maïpou. Mais les centres de données ne sont pas dans les mangroves colombiennes ou à Maïpou ! Pourquoi ne rendent-ils pas l'eau là où ils la prennent, dans les écosystèmes qu'ils affectent ? 700 agents vont quitter l'État du Minnesota. Le « tsar de la frontière » Tom Homan a annoncé ce mercredi (4 février 2026) le retrait d'agents impliqués dans les opérations d'arrestation de migrants. Il en resterait quelque 2000 dans cet État. Tom Homan avait été envoyé à Minneapolis la semaine dernière pour prendre en main les opérations de la police de l'immigration dans cette ville, suite à la mort d'Alex Pretti, tué par des agents de la police aux frontières. Donald Trump a affirmé dans une interview au média NBC que la décision du retrait de ces agents était la sienne et que, tout en voulant rester « dur », il a dit qu'il fallait une approche « plus douce ».  À Minneapolis, où la police de l'immigration mène d'intenses opérations depuis décembre, l'annonce du retrait de 700 agents de l'ICE est vue comme un pas dans la bonne direction, mais elle est très loin de satisfaire les habitants. L'interview complète ici.  En Haïti, quel avenir pour ceux qui ont défendu le CPT ?  Comme chaque jeudi, le rédacteur en chef du Nouvelliste décrypte l'actualité haïtienne. Dans l'édito du jour, et à l'approche de la fin du Conseil présidentiel de transition, il se demande ce qui va advenir de cette classe politique « qui n'est pas astreinte au résultat, qui ne s'occupe pas des préoccupations de la population, mais qui veut garder le pouvoir ». Le Nouvelliste suggère la mise en place d'un pacte pour la démocratie.  Au Venezuela, la loi d'amnistie générale présentée à l'Assemblée nationale  La loi d'amnistie est au programme de l'Assemblée nationale vénézuélienne ce jeudi 5 février 2026. Dans les colonnes du quotidien El Nacional, Jorge Rodriguez, le président chaviste du Parlement vénézuélien, l'assure : ce projet d'amnistie accélèrera le dialogue politique souhaité par le gouvernement de Delcy Rodriguez. Selon lui, les partis d'opposition ont été consultés, et l'objectif, c'est de créer un consensus pour que le projet de loi puisse être approuvé à l'unanimité. Mais les promesses du gouvernement de Delcy Rodriguez soulèvent déjà de nombreuses inquiétudes à Caracas et dans le reste du pays. Le média d'opposition Tal Cual rapporte l'appel d'une vingtaine d'associations vénézuéliennes de défense des droits de l'homme à intégrer les organisations internationales au processus d'amnistie, comme la Cour pénale internationale ou le Haut-Commissariat des Nations unies aux droits de l'homme. Ces associations rappellent que l'amnistie n'est ni l'oubli ni le pardon mais plutôt « un outil exceptionnel, inscrit dans les normes internationales et qui vise à la libération des personnes injustement persécutées ». Malgré tout, l'évocation de cette loi d'amnistie s'étend dans la région, comme le révèle l'édition américaine d'El País. Elle rapporte les propos de plusieurs militants cubains. Selon eux, « ce qui se passe au Venezuela montre que la pression internationale peut générer des changements concrets. Il est temps d'intensifier les revendications envers Cuba ». Cuba une nouvelle fois dans le noir  La cinquième coupure d'approvisionnement généralisée sur l'île depuis 2024, rappelle le média argentin Infobae. Depuis hier soir (4 février 2026), Santiago, la deuxième ville du pays, est paralysée. Plus de 3 millions de Cubains sont touchés. Le gouvernement peine à faire repartir ses infrastructures énergétiques vétustes et le contexte international est de plus en plus défavorable. Washington a ordonné à Mexico de cesser de livrer du pétrole à Cuba. « Une situation humanitaire extrêmement préoccupante et qui risque de s'aggraver, voire de s'effondrer », selon le secrétaire général des Nations unies Antonio Guterres, « si les États-Unis continuent à accentuer la pression ».  Les premiers effets de l'alliance entre Gustavo Petro et Donald Trump   Après la première rencontre entre les présidents Donald Trump et Gustavo Petro cette semaine, une alliance a été actée entre Washington et Bogota. Et elle produit déjà des effets : le média colombien centriste El Espectador en liste quelques-uns : le bombardement par l'armée de Caracas de l'ELM, l'un des plus importants groupes armés de Colombie dans le Catatumbo, la région frontalière du Venezuela. Il a fait au moins sept morts. Autre effet de cette alliance avec Washington : la fin des pourparlers de paix annoncés par le Clan del Golfo, un cartel colombien impliqué dans la lutte armée. Tout cela montre, selon El Espectador, le changement de discours du président Gustavo Petro et le durcissement de sa stratégie de sécurité, lui qui a été élu sur la promesse de la paix totale. It takes place in the Cursed Warehouse and the Disciplinary Chamber of the Zenin Household when Ogi Zenin attempts to execute both of his own twin daughters.Maki returns to the Zenin Family estate to collect cursed tools with permission from the new head, Megumi Fushiguro. On the way, she's harassed by Naoya and then her own mother, but Maki ignores them both and persists on to the warehouse.Maki uses a key to open a complex lock mechanism and gain entry to the Zenin Family's cursed warehouse. However, Maki is surprised to see it has been completely emptied out of all weapons. Only Ogi Zenin is inside with a heavily injured Mai lying in her own blood behind him. Ogi anticipated Maki's moves and emptied the place of all cursed tools before she got here and slashed Mai himself, leaving her alive to only serve as an emergency hostage.Unbeknownst to the Maki, the upper echelon of the Zenin clan is conspiring against Megumi. While a good number of people within the clan back Megumi because he shares a good relationship with major members of the Gojo and Kamo Clan, others like Jinichi and Ogi can't accept leaving the family fortune to him. They can't hastily murder Megumi without a good reason so instead, they're going to take advantage of the notice from Jujutsu Headquarters. Not only is Ogi okay with this, but it was also his ideaOgi takes his swordsmanship stance as if to engage in a single-strike duel. He activates Falling Blossom Emotion in its offensive form, planning to end the fight in a single mighty blow.Maki unveils Juzo Kumiya's masterpiece: Dragon-Bone, a cursed tool capable of accumulating force and cursed energy before ejecting them out of the back of the blade. She plans to feign engaging in the single-strike duel while fully intending to strike a second or third time.Maki's father asks her why he was not made head of the clan over Naobito, to which she simply mocks him in response. Ogi draws his katana with great speed and Maki flips Dragon-Bone into reverse grip at the same time. Maki is able to block Ogi's sword slash with her weapon's blade pointed downward. She quickly flips it back to a traditional kendo grip with two hands as her father turns around to attempt a parry. Cursed energy erupts from the back of Dragon-Bone, propelling Maki's slash forward with such great force that it breaks Ogi's katana.While Ogi appears stunned, Maki attempts to take advantage and rushes behind her father, getting in close to deliver an upward slash from behind. The special-grade 1 sorcerer flexes his muscles and spins to counter his daughter's attack with incredible speed. Before Maki can finish her attack, Ogi turns around completely and slashes her. She suffers a devastating blow that slices her right eye and the side of her abdomen, spilling out some of her guts.As she collapses to the ground from her grievous injuries, Maki is confused about how she's been slashed when the blade of the katana broke. However, the blade has been replaced by flames that can imitate the katana.
