Dear GUAVABEAN, I’ve heard some freelancers recommend working for free to get experience and reviews. Others tell me not to work for free because it will undervalue my services. What do you recommend?

Dear GUAVABEAN, how do you make time for your personal and dating lives when you’re working remotely in different countries. Is it hard?
Dear GUAVABEAN, currently I work as a specialist in inbound marketing. I find it very difficult to find remote jobs that are more strategic like these. Does anyone here find themselves in the same situation and do you have any tips for me? I really want to throw myself into the world of digital nomading but finding a way to make money has been my biggest difficulty.
Dear GUAVABEAN, how do I become an online coach? I’m determined to get my business up and running as a transformation coach, but I have no idea where to start and how to get my first paid clients. I feel like I’ve been very concentrated and clear on the ‘why’ and the ‘what’, and now I’m stuck on the ‘how’. At the minute it’s just a lovely vision in my head...Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Dear GUAVABEAN, I’m looking for an entry-level travel-related remote job.I have a lot of customer service experience, I used to be a flight attendant, I’ve worked on a cruise ship, and I have a lot of waitress experience. I’ve never had a computer-based job but I do know the basics. Do you have any ideas?
Dear GUAVABEAN, does anyone know of remote types of work where you don’t need a strong internet connection to do the work?

Dear GUAVABEAN, I am in need of some advice about working with a coach. A couple of months ago, I decided to invest in one rather than follow tons of courses and losing interest because the course wasn’t what I wanted or what I was looking for. I thought if I worked with someone who has already reached the level in their business where I want to be, one-to-one, it would be a better way to spend my money because it would save me time, and I would get professional help. However, two months in - and the contract is for a length of 3 months, I am not happy at all with her and the results. She has given me some assignments and some advice that I followed and implemented, but instead of geting a real strategy in place, learning tricks and various tools of the trade as well as having access to her, I feel like I’m still in the same place as I was before I hired her. I honestly want to fire her and since there is still the final payment outstanding, I’m thinking about not making this payment, which is due this week. But of course, I signed a contract with her.

Dear GUAVABEAN, what is the best payment method to use for people to pay you internationally? For example, can you use Payoneer or Paypal? Recently a friend told me that TransferWise is also an option. Which do you recommend?

Dear GUAVABEAN, I want to ask about the best task management tool/app you use that helps you get things done when things get so busy on the run. Thanks!
"Dear GUAVABEAN, how can I set proper boundaries in an internship opportunity? I'm a freelance copywriter, I understand that there's a time difference but it seems as though this mentor takes a fairly long time to answer messages, (and a few times doesn't at all.) It creates a lot of anxiety for me."

Dear guavabean… Do you have any tips for how to package your services? I have no idea where to start. I'm a content writer/copywriter who wants to incorporate social media strategy and make a package deal. Should I offer a content calendar and all the content created by me for a set price or something like that?

Dear GUAVABEAN, I am about to make a big decision, to switch my 9-5 job to a full time freelancing business. I already have some paying clients, but when it comes to decision making, I just fear that I will be unsuccessful and get overwhelmed by negative thoughts and stop, even though I don't like my current work. How you did it? Any tips on how to overcome the fear?

Dear guavabean, I just took a break from teaching, now thinking about other (online work) options. My question is… for ex-teachers, are there jobs suitable for online/nomadic style other than online tutoring which I already researched?

Dear guavabean, I have a question that seems to be going around a lot. Is it really that hard to get into this lifestyle? I have been looking for a remote job for the past month or so with no luck whatsoever. I am a 34-year-old father of three and married to a wonderful woman who has a remote job as a teacher. It seems she gets more work than me. I’m a Content Creator who mainly focusses on video editing and I wonder if I should acquire any other skills to be able to get a job in this industry. The idea is to be able to travel with my family and take my work with me, free of the confines of an office. Can you guys help me out, point me towards the right path? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dear GUAVABEAN, the thing I struggle with is knowing how to get a steady stream of clients so I'm earning enough money, but I'm not working insane amount of hours each week. It's that feast and famine cycle I want to learn how to break. How do you deal with this?
