Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
Every theory circulating about Nancy Guthrie's disappearance gets the same test in this session: what does the evidence actually require for it to hold, what's the behavioral read, and what would have to be true? The Mexico tip came on Mother's Day to a volunteer collective in Sonora. The caller described landmarks, clothing, and a specific location. Two searches found nothing. He called back with revised directions both times and bypassed over a million dollars in reward money. Robin identifies a behavioral signature in how this tip was routed that connects it to the ransom notes, the Callella reports, and every unverifiable claim this case has produced. The insider theory puts the answer inside Nancy's orbit — someone with a schedule, a key, or regular access to her property. Sixteen days before she vanished, an eighty-three-year-old in Kentucky was taken by a fired caregiver in the same structural pattern. But the man on Nancy's porch didn't know the doorbell camera was there. Robin tests whether that detail is fatal to the theory or whether a version involving a planner who never approached the property survives. The staging claim says the abduction was manufactured — the masked man placed, the blood planted, the FBI-recovered footage itself part of the arrangement. Zero precedent exists. The family posted a million-dollar reward. Robin applies the same framework investigators use to test scene authenticity in the first week of any disappearance and names the one evidentiary element that would change the assessment.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? When I first started my design business, I found myself in a client trap. 80% of my revenue was coming from 20% of my clients, but 80% of my clients were delivering just 20% of my revenue. When it came to choosing clients for the first five years of my business, I was not selective and I was not discerning. I didn't even know about an ideal client. But once I made this discovery and started to focus on the 20% of my ideal clients, my workload dropped significantly. I cut loose all the lovely people that were clients, but were too small or required too much hand-holding. Since I have made this shift myself, I have shortcuts to share to get you on the path to becoming more selective and discerning with your own clients. Marketing to your ideal client means you're able to rise head and shoulders above the competition, you're able to be seen, heard, and valued beyond the crowd. I want you to assess and evaluate who your best fits are, instead of taking whoever shows up. To do that, you need to start conversing with your clients and creating key points of connection with them. In today's episode, I will walk you through my shortcuts for identifying and connecting with your ideal client. Creating these connections will lead to lasting client relationships that will make your business thrive without burning you out. In this episode, you will hear: Why you need to identify your ideal client What are the four key types of client intel that you need to know How to turn points of connection into points of profit As one of our Fan Favorite episodes, I'd love to know what your favorite episode is. Steve from Paragon in Toowoomba faced the exact friction that stalls scaling construction companies. He was providing fast pricing based on standard allowances, which created a dangerous environment of extras bills and constant client revisions once the build started. To solve this, he stepped away from the volume builder overheads model and introduced a highly structured paid design phase.By charging $3,300 upfront, clients now work directly with an interior designer to finalize every fixture and fitting before a contract is ever presented. This exact operational shift reduced dropouts to under five percent. He further solidified this system by utilizing a 292 square meter display home as an immersive educational space, letting the architecture and physical supplier lookbooks do the heavy lifting of the sales process.Links & Resources: Paragon Homes: https://paragonhomes.net.au/

Chuck Todd opens with the resolution of a story he's been tracking for weeks: Graham Platner cruised to victory in Maine, comfortably clearing 70% even with Janet Mills' name still on the ballot — which he says means the scandals that had Platner in "save my campaign" mode turned out to be far less than a five-alarm fire. The deeper lesson, Chuck argues, is uncomfortable but revealing: for a significant share of Democratic primary voters, high character has become a luxury item, because the base is so exhausted by losing and capitulating to the establishment that it will forgive a flawed candidate who actually seems willing to fight. He notes that Maine has gotten meaningfully bluer since Susan Collins was last on the ballot (Harris underperformed nationally but actually drew more raw votes in Maine than Biden did), that a generic Democrat should win this seat by six or seven points, and that the only real question left is how many squeamish Democrats sit the race out rather than pull the lever for Platner. He runs through the rest of the night — Lindsey Graham narrowly avoided a runoff in South Carolina, the GOP gubernatorial race there is headed to a runoff that knocked out both Nancy Mace and Ralph Norman — and pulls back to identify the defining theme of the entire 2026 cycle: everyone, in both parties, is running on a message of change, with no candidate anywhere running on restoration the way Biden did in 2020. The messaging this cycle is relentlessly future-focused, the exact opposite of Trump's nostalgia, and Chuck reiterates his running observation that the worst possible first name to have in politics right now is "congressman" — because Washington experience carries zero value to voters this cycle. The split-screen between the parties remains stark: Republican voters still reward confrontation while Democratic primary voters are gravitating toward electability and consensus, Democratic turnout is rising while GOP turnout is flat or falling, and the throughline that's held for a decade is only intensifying — voters are demanding major change, and they'll punish anyone who doesn't offer it. Then, Lauren Pinkston — the independent candidate for governor of Tennessee — joins the Chuck Toddcast to make the case that the deepest problem in her state isn't left versus right, it's the near-total absence of two-party competition that has allowed one-party rule to calcify into something genuinely unhealthy. Pinkston, who was raised in an evangelical environment where she was taught that voting Democrat meant going to hell, offers a fascinating personal and political journey: she lived in communist Laos where people were persecuted for their faith, which gave her a firsthand understanding of why the Founders deliberately kept Christianity out of the Constitution, and she's now running explicitly against the kind of Christian nationalism that teaches America was divinely ordained. She argues Citizens United is a major reason Tennessee became so uncompetitive, walks through the mechanical difficulties of mounting a serious independent campaign, and contends that Marsha Blackburn isn't nearly as strong a candidate as she thinks she is. The conversation digs into Pinkston's actual governing vision and her theory of how an independent can build a winning coalition in one of the reddest states in the country. She wants to reform education and make teaching a genuinely fun profession again, and she's passionate about the way Nashville soaks up all the state's political investment while Memphis gets neglected — pointing out that crime in Memphis is at a 20-year low yet the city still can't attract investment, and that St. Jude is struggling to recruit talent because of H1-B visa denials. Pinkston is candid about the structural obstacles: Tennessee's constitution doesn't even allow for ballot measures, the GOP holds a stranglehold on the statehouse, and Republican leadership has been kicking moderate candidates off the ballot entirely. But she argues there's a real opening — Republicans in the state are looking for an offramp that isn't a Democrat, and even staunch Democrats are frustrated with their own party. Pinkston is energized about working with the Working Families Party and the Forward Party to build toward a more moderate, genuinely competitive two-party system, argues this is the strongest group of independent candidates to run in years, and wonders aloud whether being "too educated" has perversely become a negative quality in a candidate. She closes with a sharp observation that cuts to the heart of the whole project: Americans demand more than two options for literally everything in their lives except politics, politicians increasingly rely on performance over substance, and the stakes couldn't be higher. Finally, Chuck updates his ToddCast Top 5 list of senate seats most likely to flip parties and answers listeners’ questions in the “Ask Chuck” segment. A residential builder from the Lake Tahoe region addresses the operational failure of the belief that no one can execute tasks better than the founder. By hoarding administrative duties like purchase orders, estimating, and marketing, the owner became the absolute bottleneck, completely stalling the company's ability to grow. Unrealistic expectations further complicated the process, as the owner assumed new hires would flawlessly execute tasks on their first attempt. To resolve this friction, the builder began delegating specialized tasks to Virtual Assistants. Instead of fumbling through social media and website rebuilds alone, passing these duties to a VA allowed the owner to focus on high-leverage activities and market adaptation. Acknowledging that human mistakes happen and improving communication allowed the owner to relinquish power, which ultimately generated actual momentum and prepared the business for a massive growth target.

It means taking aligned action while releasing attachment to how and when results arrive. Many of the greatest manifestations arrive in ways we never could have planned ourselves. Trusting the unfolding often creates outcomes beyond what we imagined possible.Journal QuestionsWhat am I trying to control right now? What am I afraid would happen if I let go?What emotional need am I expecting this outcome to fulfill? What would it look like to trust that this is already being taken care of?Where can I replace force with faith?Memorable Quote"The only reason we don't let go is because we don't trust that it will be taken care of."Resources & Links✨ Join my FREE live training: Clear Your Limiting Beliefs: www.marleyrose.ca/clear ✨ Download the Higher Self App: https://www.instagram.com/higherself.app/✨ Join House Of Freedom https://www.marleyrose.ca/houseoffreedom✨ Explore my programs and coaching opportunities: linktr.ee/marleyroseharrisConnect With MarleyInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/marleyroseharris/Website: https://www.marleyrose.ca/Email: hello@marleyrose.caYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@marleyroseharrisLove The Podcast? If this episode resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you left a review.Send a screenshot of your review & email it to hello@marleyrose.ca and we'll send you a special gift as a thank you for supporting the show.Thank you for being here, angel. For high‑growth B2B tech brands, the next funding round or IPO is no longer just a financial milestone – it is a communications stress test. Investors are bringing AI‑driven tools, sharper scrutiny and higher expectations into every decision. The companies that win are those that can match strong numbers with a compelling, consistent story. In this episode of the FINITE Podcast, Jodi Norris sits down with Liam McLaughlin, Managing Partner at Clarity Europe, to unpack how CMOs and marketing leaders can actively prepare for their next raise or listing through comms and marketing. You've done the therapy. You've read the books. You've done the work — or at least you think you have. So why does the same relationship keep showing up with a different face? In this episode, Christopher and co-host Natalie Stavola sit down with energy healer Stefanie Truino to explore what traditional self-help can't reach: the energetic and subconscious layers driving your love life from underneath. They break down how emotional blockages get lodged in the body, why cord attachments to past partners keep you energetically tethered long after the relationship ends, and how tools like Reiki, astrology, and the Akashic Records can reveal the patterns you've been too close to see. This isn't woo. This is the part of the work most people skip — and why they stay stuck. Many of us become therapists because we care deeply about people, not because we want to spend our days looking at business data. So, it makes sense if tracking metrics feels a little cold, overly analytical, or disconnected from the human side of the work you're doing. But the truth is, good data can actually support you in caring for both your clients and your clinicians more effectively. In this episode, I'm joined by Tory Krone, group practice owner and creator of PracticeVital, to talk about how the right numbers can help us understand what's really happening inside a therapy practice. Together, we explore how tracking things like churn, retention, rebooking, and clinician productivity can move you out of guesswork and into clearer, steadier decision-making.Click here to learn more about PracticeVital — and get $30 off your first month when you sign up using the referral code MoneyN&B Ready to feel more calm and confident about your money? Do you feel confused, ashamed, or uncertain about your finances? Are you craving support to help shift your money mindset and transform your relationship with money? Are you ready to develop the skills and confidence you need to finally take control of your business finances and build a practice that actually takes care of you?If so, I'd love for you to join me for one of my free online workshops, designed specifically for private practice owners who feel stuck—whether it's mindset blocks, avoidance, or the technical side of managing money. In just one hour together, you'll learn practical tools, strategies, and next steps to move forward in your business (and your life) with clarity, intention, and ease.Click here to explore upcoming workshops and save your spot or register to get the replay.Using Data to See Patterns You Can't Feel AloneTherapists are often highly intuitive. That intuition is a beautiful strength in clinical work, but it can only take you so far when you're trying to get clear on client flow, practice performance, or the financial health of your business.By tracking the right numbers, you can begin to notice patterns that might otherwise stay hidden. Churn rates, retention, rebooking patterns, and referral quality offer important information about client fit, onboarding, expectations, and the overall client experience. Data doesn't replace clinical judgment — it supports it.Sometimes small shifts in your practice, such as improving follow-up systems, setting clearer expectations during intake, or matching clients based on fit rather than simply availability, can make a meaningful difference. These practical adjustments can help clients stay engaged long enough to truly benefit from the care they came for.Creating More Stability Through Better Systems Many of the metrics Tory and I discuss are early signals that offer insight as to where a practice may need additional support, more clarity, or a better system before things become truly stressful.(00:04:02) Discovery of PracticeVital software(00:09:38) Tracking clinician productivity(00:10:25) Overly optimistic revenue projections(00:14:40) Introducing financial leadership tools(00:18:50) Analyzing referral quality(00:19:48) Attracting the right audience(00:25:15) Challenges of attracting therapy clients(00:32:24) Creating a safe space for clients(00:36:36) Importance of visually appealing dataStrong Practice Leadership Often Looks Surprisingly PracticalOne thing I really appreciate about this conversation is the reminder that good leadership is not only about vision, warmth, or emotional attunement. It's also about creating reliable systems that help clients stay connected to care and help clinicians do their best work. That might mean normalizing recurring appointments, improving onboarding workflows, watching rebooking patterns, or noticing when a therapist on your team may need more support. Numbers will never tell the whole story of a practice, but they can help you ask better questions. And when you can ask better questions, you can respond to your business with more clarity, compassion, and confidence.About Linzy Bonham:Linzy Bonham is a therapist turned money coach who helps private practice owners and health professionals feel calm, confident, and in control of their finances through her podcast, free workshops and comprehensive programs: Money Skills for Therapists and Money Skills for Group Practice Owners. It all started when she saw her extremely skilled colleagues struggle with the money side of business. Attracting former residents back to Louisville — boomerangs, as they're known — could potentially be a way to increase the city's population. But there are challenges to it. LBF Senior Reporter Joel Stinnett joins us to talk about some of those issues on this week's Access Louisville podcast.Stinnett just wrapped up a cover story on the topic of boomerangs and how they fit into Louisville's growth strategy. The biggest stumbling block is the job market. In spite job gains in some sectors, Louisville doesn't have a lot of options for people holding advance degrees. Those jobs are often confined to bigger metropolises. Stinnett also looked at programs that small cities like Topeka, Kansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma have implemented in order to address a similar problem. After the boomerang discussion, we chat with Reporter Michael L. Jones about the financial troubles being experienced by Memorial Auditorium in Louisville and how a looming Metro budget cut may impact it. We also chat about an upcoming move by The Whirling Tiger, the closure of the Bristol Bar & Grille restaurant in Downtown Louisville and a pending relocation for Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville. Access Louisville, sponsored by Baird, is a weekly podcast from Louisville Business First. You can also follow it on popular podcast services including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Work with me for free: https://www.skool.com/inspired-life-method-9441/If you keep attracting emotionally unavailable partners — or you know deep down that you're the one who's been emotionally unavailable — this video is going to change everything. Most people try to fix their relationships from the outside. But the real shift happens when you understand why you're the one drawing this pattern into your life in the first place.I've coached over 10,000 people through this exact process. And what I know for certain is this: the pattern doesn't break until YOU do the inner work first.✅ WHAT YOU'LL LEARN IN THIS VIDEO:→ The 3 things you need to become aware of before anything else can change (identity, patterns, and triggers)→ Why past hurt creates future fear — and how it's silently running your relationships right now→ What emotional hygiene actually is and why it's non-negotiable for emotional availability→ How to do the integration work that most people skip (and why skipping it keeps you stuck)→ A simple, honest way to communicate with your partner that creates alignment — without control or ultimatumsYou are not broken. You are not cursed. You are a projector — and your relationships are the projection. If you want to change what you're attracting, you have to change the projector. This video shows you exactly how.

Episode Description The way you show up in relationships today was decided before you even knew how to speak. Eli Harwood is a licensed therapist, the creator of Attachment Nerd, and the author of How to Deal with Your (Anxiety, Anger, Self-Doubt, Insecurity, Trauma) So Your Kids Don't Have To. She spent nearly 20 years sitting with families watching parents who desperately wanted better for their children but had no roadmap for how to actually get there. This conversation goes deep into why 50% of us never experienced secure attachment, what that did to our sense of self, and what it actually takes to break the cycle before it passes to the next generation. In this episode, you'll discover: • Why chaos can feel more like home than safety, and why the people who confuse you are often more magnetic than the people who make you feel secure • What happens developmentally when a child grows up in an unpredictable home and how that wound silently shapes every relationship, every breakup, and every parenting moment that follows • The difference between intellectually knowing this work and actually doing it, and why your kids will find every unhealed part of you no matter what This one is for every parent, every soon to be parent, and every adult who is still trying to figure out why love feels so complicated. For high-net-worth clients, financial planning is often not just about managing their money during their lifetimes, but also a matter of preparing the next generation to inherit family wealth. Which suggests that meeting with clients' children can both offer value for current clients and also begin a relationship with the next generation that could last for decades to come. Liz Miller is the founder of Summit Place Financial Advisors, a $300M firm she built by focusing on deep relationships and multigenerational planning. Listen in to hear how she raises multigenerational conversations with clients and their children and how she converts clients' children from regular contacts to fee-paying clients. Liz also discusses how she finds that ensuring "nothing falls through the cracks" can be more valuable than chasing returns (and the value of checklists to support this task) as well as why she lets her high-net-worth prospects lead off discovery meetings with their most pressing concern rather than starting with her own qualifications and services. I made $38,000 today. From one sale. One coaching client. A couple of sessions. Seven days ago, I told my Inner Circle group "I'm allowing another $50,000 to flow into my life this month." Not hoping. Not wishing. Allowing. Within seven days, it happened. In this solo episode of The Expert Edge, I break down how to attract high ticket clients. Not just close them. Attract them. Because when you shift internally, everything external shifts too. Before you roll your eyes and think this is manifesting woo-woo nonsense, let me be clear: this isn't about vision boards and hoping the universe delivers cash to your doorstep. It's about giving yourself permission to receive more money. And most coaches haven't done that yet. You've capped yourself. Maybe it's $5K a month. Maybe it's $20K. Maybe it's $100K a year. Whatever it is, you hit that number and your brain goes "Okay, that's enough. Let's not get greedy." The problem isn't your offer. It isn't your marketing. It isn't your funnel. It's that you haven't decided to allow more money to flow into your business. What you'll learn: → Allow yourself to receive more money - Pick a number that feels like a stretch but doable (not "I hope" but "this is a done deal") → Value outcomes, not features - Stop selling "six coaching sessions" and start selling financial freedom, time with family, emotional peace → Speak to elevated problems - "I need more clients" vs "I have clients but I'm burnt out" (the second person pays 10x more) → Design a program you actually enjoy - How I've made $300K-$500K a year for 17 years with just a few hours of coaching a month → Why mindset is a strategy (not just "mindset stuff") - You can have all the tactics in the world, but if your mindset isn't right, you won't give yourself permission to receive Real insights from the episode: How I made $38,000 in one day from a premium private client Why I choose numbers that feel easy (not lottery-level fantasy) when setting revenue goals The difference between "deserving" money and believing you deserve it How to pivot out of negative mindset throughout the day when refunds, upset clients, and challenges happen Why most coaches cap themselves at a certain income level without realizing it The exact process of living in the result before creating the result How to speak to higher level problems in your messaging to attract premium clients I'm running a six-week coaching cohort called Premium Private Clients. It's the exact system I've used for 17 years to make $300K-$500K a year from a handful of clients. I'm teaching how to attract them, build an audition funnel, convert at 90%, and design a program you actually enjoy. First cohort is 50% off. Limited spots. Go to colinboyd.co/highticket and sign up now. My goal? Help you add $100K-$300K a year with just 2-3 clients at a time. If you're already making $10K/month, there's no reason you can't add $200K a year with this model. Join our next Speak to Convert Masterclass. In this live workshop, you'll discover how to build and launch a high converting presentation that gets you clients every time you present. https://colinboyd.co/speak Discover how to authentically connect with your audience & fill your programs with a Conversion Story - Version 2.0 (AI Edition) is now available. https://www.conversionstoryformula.com Hit the "Follow" button so you don't miss an episode!
