If you're trying to support your child with ADHD naturally and feel overwhelmed by where to start, this episode is for you. ADHD health practitioner Dana Kay shares the three podcast episodes every parent should listen to first. She explains exactly where she would send you if you were sitting together over coffee asking one simple question: "Where do I even start?" Dana breaks down why understanding what's really driving ADHD is the foundation, why traditional ADHD treatments don't always lead to lasting change, and why hearing another parent's real journey can shift everything. These three episodes help parents stop chasing every new solution, start seeing patterns instead of isolated problems, and finally feel grounded in what actually helps their child thrive. If you're new to The Soaring Child Podcast or feeling stuck, confused, or exhausted, this episode gives you clarity, direction, and a starting point that actually makes sense. Dana also shares a glimpse of what's coming in the new year and why it may change how you see your child and their ADHD journey. Overwhelmed and Guilty? Faithful Motherhood Isn't Perfect Are you a working mom who feels like you're constantly falling short? Like biblical motherhood is some Pinterest-perfect ideal you'll never reach? You're not alone—and you're not failing. In this episode, we talk about what faithful motherhood really looks like in the midst of work, family, and daily overwhelm. We'll explore why so many moms feel guilt and pressure, how the culture of “perfect motherhood” can distort God's truth, and most importantly, how you can experience freedom, grace, and real faithfulness in the life you actually live. You'll walk away with: A clear reminder that biblical motherhood isn't about perfection. Encouragement to release guilt and comparison. Practical ways to invite God into your busy, messy, real life. Scripture and reflection to anchor your faith in the everyday moments. Scriptures discussed: Colossians 3:23 – Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord. Psalm 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Proverbs 31:25 – She is clothed with strength and dignity. This episode is perfect for working Christian moms who want to embrace their motherhood journey without pressure, guilt, or comparison—learning to walk faithfully in the life God has given them.

Tired of ADHD strategies that don't work? Here's what actually does. FREE training here: https://programs.tracyotsuka.com/signup_____What if the intensity you've chased in relationships wasn't love, but dopamine?Amanda McCracken is an award winning journalist, endurance athlete, and intimacy researcher who was diagnosed with ADHD at 36, long after she had built a successful career. From the outside, her life looked accomplished and disciplined. Inside, she struggled with distraction, emotional intensity, anxiety, and a lifelong pattern of romantic fixation. In this episode, Amanda shares how ADHD showed up quietly in her life, from trichotillomania and overthinking to using extreme exercise as a form of self regulation, long before she had language for what was actually happening. The conversation centers on limerence, a psychological state of intense romantic longing marked by obsession, idealization, and emotional highs and lows. Amanda explains how limerence thrives on uncertainty, making it especially powerful for ADHD brains that crave novelty and fast dopamine. Tracy and Amanda explore how rejection sensitivity, perfectionism, and trauma can blur the line between desire and self worth, and why many women mistake intensity for connection. Amanda also shares how chasing emotionally unavailable partners became an organizing force in her life, and how that pattern kept her stuck in fantasy instead of intimacy. She also had to confront a deeper truth: real intimacy feels quieter than fantasy. Today, Amanda is married to a securely attached partner and is the author of When Longing Becomes Your Lover, a deeply personal exploration of limerence, ADHD, and what it takes to receive love instead of chasing it.Resources:Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/amanda-mccracken-4716373 Website: https://www.amandajmccracken.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/amanda.mccracken.39 Send a Message: Your Name | Email | Message If this podcast helps you understand your ADHD brain, Shift helps you train it. Take the two questions from this episode even deeper, download The Art of the Edit for five more essential questions to curate your most authentic year. https://schoolofselfimage.com/art-pod Imagine if two simple questions could completely rewrite your year. Not by pushing harder or doing more, but by shifting your self-image. These are the questions that change everything as you move into a new year. One of the greatest resources I use in my life is to ask profound questions – none of the fluffy, surface-level stuff. In fact, I disappear for 24 hours every December to gain clarity on what I truly want. And here's the truth: answering these two questions that I'm sharing today can honestly shift your next 365 days from habitual to intentional. Here's what we cover: • Why the two questions you ask yourself can determine the identity you build next year • How tolerations drain energy, lower standards, and quietly shape a self-image of "settling" • Why choosing one thing you're done tolerating creates powerful, focused transformation • How identity (not willpower) is what ends old patterns and habits • The practice of becoming the woman who no longer tolerates the old version of your life • How small, daily actions reinforce a new self-image and create your next-level year Did you enjoy this episode? What if good parenting isn't enough? (Hint hint: it's NOT) In this powerful and deeply convicting conversation, Judy Weber sits down with Terri Hitt—author of The Good Mom Trap, mom of four across two generations, and founder of the Godly Motherhood movement—to dismantle one of the most dangerous lies Christian moms believe: that being a good parent automatically produces godly kids. Terri shares her extraordinary God-story, including devastating loss, radical obedience, and how the Lord reshaped her understanding of motherhood, identity, and legacy. Together, Judy and Terri explore how culture quietly disciples our children and why moms must reclaim their role as the spiritual thermostat of the home. This episode goes far beyond theory. You'll hear real-life examples, hard truths, and hope-filled strategies for raising children who don't just behave well—but know Christ deeply and follow Him boldly. If you're a mom, grandmother, or spiritual mentor who wants to raise the next generation with eternal perspective (not cultural compromise), this is a must-listen. Jacquie reframes “self criticism” as abusive brain chatter. A deeper pattern of emotional self-abuse that fuels low self-worth, comparison and people-pleasing. You'll learn her ABCs framework to interrupt the spiral, rebuild self-respect and practice self-love in a practical way through awareness, belief and challenge. About the Guest: Jacquie Elliott is a certified spiritual and relationship coach, seasoned radio host and motivational speaker. She's the author of The Silent Bully: A Journey from Abusive Brain Chatter to Self-Love, and teaches simple tools to shift from “tornado head” into boundaries, presence and a healthier inner relationship. Key Takeaways: Name the inner critic for what it is. Jacquie calls it “abusive brain chatter”. Not just negative thoughts but a pattern that bullies, belittles and gaslights you, especially during holiday pressure and family triggers. Use the ABCs framework in real time. A is Aware: notice the script and write it down. B is Belief: reconnect to a loving inner source through journaling, meditation, prayer or a grounding ritual. C is Challenge: replace old core beliefs like “I'm not enough” with one sentence that is 10% kinder and more true. Watch for “Tornado Head”. That spiral where one mistake becomes a whole identity story. The reset is to return “home” to the present moment and get heart centered before you problem solve. Make self love practical. Start with 2 to 3 minutes of meditation. Journal both voices. List your top values and check alignment. Take small actions that build self respect and reduce shame. Build momentum with micro wins. Random acts of kindness and gratitude can create a dopamine lift that supports consistency, confidence and healthier boundaries. Holiday reminder. You do not need perfect mindset. You need a tool you will actually use when things get loud, tense or triggering. A Special Episode. Supporting articles about this and much more from Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast in platforms like Medium , Blogspot and Linkedin . Four Officer-Involved Shootings, and the Reality Behind Them During his career with the Baltimore Police Department, Wiley was involved in four officer-involved shootings, or as they were called back then shootings, a fact that often shocks listeners unfamiliar with the daily dangers faced by officers in high-crime cities. Contrary to popular narratives repeated across news, Facebook, and Instagram, Wiley reveals that in the first two incidents, he never fired his weapon. He, like most Police Officers, did not shoot back. “The idea that police are always quick to shoot is simply false,” Wiley says during the podcast. “In my first two shootings, I didn't return fire at all.” Available for free on their website and streaming on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and other podcast platforms. The final two incidents, however, were prolonged, life-and-death gun battles. The last shooting left Wiley with injuries severe enough to end his police career. “That last gunfight changed everything,” he reflects. “It didn't just end my career, it reshaped my life.” The Truth Being a Baltimore, Maryland Police Officer: Crime, Violence, and Survival. A Special Episode. Shattering Myths About Police and Use of Force A central theme of the podcast special episode is the disconnect between public perception and on-the-ground reality. Wiley and Ellsworth address the myths frequently spread about policing in American cities, especially Baltimore. The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast episode is available for free on their website , Apple Podcasts , Spotify and most major podcast platforms. “So much of what people believe about police use of force comes from misreporting or outright misinformation,” Wiley notes. “The truth is far more complex, and far more human.” The episode offers listeners an unfiltered look at how decisions are made in seconds, under extreme stress, amid rampant crime and violence. Baltimore: A City With a Complicated History Baltimore, Maryland has long struggled with violent crime rates above the national average. In 2019, Baltimore recorded 348 homicides, second only to its 1993 peak, when the population was significantly higher. Yet the story doesn't end there. By 2024, the city recorded 201 homicides, the lowest number since 2011, evidence that progress, while uneven, is possible. City leaders have credited focused efforts on repeat violent offenders and increased community engagement. The Truth Being a Baltimore, Maryland Police Officer: Crime, Violence, and Survival. A Special Episode. The interview can be found on The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast website, on Apple podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and across most podcast platforms where listeners will find authentic law enforcement stories. “Baltimore isn't just statistics,” Wiley says. “It's people, good people, trying to survive in some very hard neighborhoods.” “It's Baltimore, Gentlemen…” A haunting quote from The Wire: “It's Baltimore, gentlemen. The gods will not save you.” For Wiley, that line resonates deeply. “There were moments when I needed God to save my life, during and especially after Policing in Baltimore” he says quietly. “And I believe He did.” A Podcast You Don't Want to Miss On Being A Police Officer is known for offering a civilian-led, inside look at law enforcement through deeply personal interviews. Drawing on over 15 years of ride-alongs, filming, and conversations with officers, Abby Ellsworth gives listeners access to stories rarely told so candidly. You can do everything right on paper — organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised, regenerative — and still end up eating the very compounds you were trying to avoid. That's the blind spot I'm digging into in this episode: the ways food gets contaminated during processing and packaging… often without the consumer noticing, and without small farmers even realizing they're doing it. The most vivid example is something most people would never question: A turkey can be raised well, harvested cleanly, and still get compromised at the finish line when it's put into a plastic bag and then heat shrink-wrapped in hot water. Combined, heat, fat and soft plastic create the perfect conditions for microplastics and chemicals like phthalates to migrate into meat. The label still looks perfect. The outcome isn't. From there, I widen the lens to other "healthy" foods that carry hidden landmines. Pastured poultry can still be built on genetics designed for rapid weight gain, and the feed can still be heavy in polyunsaturated fats that end up stored in the meat. Grass-fed beef can still pick up microplastics during processing and packaging. Even when the animal was raised well, the last steps can quietly undo a lot of the benefit. The point isn't perfection. It's awareness. Once you understand where contamination can happen, you can ask better questions and make smarter trade-offs — like requesting butcher paper before plastic, avoiding heat shrink-wrapping, or choosing producers who are willing to adjust their process when you explain why it matters. In many cases, the only way to reduce these risks is to shorten the distance between you and your food – whether that means buying from someone local you can talk to, getting involved in the process, or raising even a small amount of food yourself just to learn what actually happens behind the scenes. This episode is my attempt to give you that lens without turning food sourcing into a new anxiety. You don't need to chase purity. But you do need to understand what labels can't tell you. Website Marketing vs. SEO Marketing: The Complete Business Essentials Guide with Favour Obasi-Ike | Sign up for exclusive SEO insights. This episode demystifies the relationship between website marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO), clarifying the critical distinction between the two. The discussion frames website marketing as the broad, all-encompassing "ecosystem" of a brand's online presence, including email, social media, and advertising. In contrast, SEO is presented as the tactical, high-performance "engine" that powers a website's visibility and drives targeted traffic within that ecosystem. Through foundational principles, practical strategies, and live consultations with business owners, this guide provides a comprehensive framework for building a powerful and effective digital identity.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Next Steps for Digital Marketing + SEO Services:>> Need SEO Services? SEO is the specific, technical practice of optimizing your website to be found by search engines, giving your marketing efforts direction and power.• Your Website is Your Digital Identity: A website is more than a link or a digital storefront; it is the central hub for establishing your brand's credibility, trustworthiness, and authority, creating a lasting experience for both new and returning visitors.• Messaging Precedes Marketing: The effectiveness of any marketing tactic hinges on compelling messaging that connects with customer psychology. As demonstrated with the "strawberry" example, great marketing shifts a customer's mindset from a simple "need" to an emotional "want."• Storytelling Sells, Facts Only Tell: To convert visitors into customers, product descriptions must go beyond listing features and instead create an emotional connection. As speaker Mo advises:• Technical Health is Non-Negotiable: A website's foundational health depends on more than just load speed and hosting. Consistently publishing fresh content is critical because every update creates a new "tokenized" copy for search engines to crawl. A dormant site gives search engines no reason to return, while an active site signals relevance and forces re-evaluation, directly impacting rankings.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Detailed Episode Notes1. Defining the Landscape: Website Marketing vs. SEOTo build a successful online presence, it is vital to distinguish between the overarching platform of website marketing and the specific tactics of SEO. Website marketing represents your brand's total visibility and communication channels online. SEO, a critical component within that framework, is the deliberate set of actions taken to ensure your website is discovered by the right audience at the right time. Understanding this difference is the first step toward a coherent and effective digital strategy.Contrasting Key ConceptsWebsite Marketing (The Ecosystem)The Truck and Engine AnalogyThe relationship between these two concepts can be understood through a simple yet powerful analogy presented during the episode:"Think of your website like a truck. Website marketing is the truck itself—it exists, it's present, and it's visible. SEO is the engine that actually moves the truck forward, giving it the power, speed, and direction it needs to reach its destination."With these foundational definitions established, it's clear that the website itself serves as the strategic center of all marketing efforts.2. The Strategic Hub: Your Website's Core FunctionYour website is your most critical digital asset. It is the definitive online destination where you control the narrative and build direct relationships with your audience. Far more than just a place for transactions, it is the central hub for establishing trust, demonstrating expertise, and solidifying a brand identity that resonates with visitors long after they leave. The Four Pillars of a Trustworthy WebsiteFor a website to be effective, it must embody four key qualities for every visitor:1. Credible: The information is accurate, professional, and demonstrates authority.2. Resourceful: It provides value and answers the questions your audience is asking.3. Trustworthy: The site is secure, transparent, and operates with integrity.4. Accessible: It is easy to navigate and available to all users.Analyzing Visitor BehaviorEvery website serves two primary types of visitors: new visitors and returning visitors. Understanding their distinct behaviors through analytics is crucial for optimization. With over 1.1 billion websites online, simply existing is not enough; your site must be engineered to effectively engage both audiences and guide them toward a desired action.Key Website ComponentsA modern website is a multimedia platform composed of various elements that search engines index and users engage with:• Text (including body copy, headlines, and policies)• Images (with descriptive alt text for accessibility and SEO)• Audio (e.g., MP3 files for podcasts or sound clips)• Video (e.g., MP4 files for tutorials or product showcases)• Documents (e.g., PDFs for white papers or downloadable guides)A well-structured website, rich with these components, provides the perfect foundation for the tactical work of SEO to drive qualified traffic.3. Tactical Deep Dive: Activating Your SEOSEO is the disciplined practice of aligning your website's structure and content with the specific words and phrases your target audience uses in search engines like Google. It is not about tricking algorithms but about creating a valuable and relevant experience that naturally earns high visibility. This requires a consistent content engine, especially since blogs have a shelf life of 24 months. A single post can provide SEO value for up to two years, demonstrating the long-term ROI of a strategic content plan. The Content Creation EngineGenerating traffic starts with a simple question-and-answer flow. How do you generate traffic? By kickstarting the engine. How do you kickstart the engine? By creating content. How do you create effective content? By building links through publishing valuable posts like blogs, landing pages, and product pages.Uncovering SEO OpportunitiesA live demonstration in the episode revealed how to find high-intent keywords directly from Google's search suggestions—a reflection of real, frequent user queries. The strategic takeaway is clear: each of these suggestions represents a distinct user need. A single list of 10 terms can be transformed into 10 to 50 unique media assets, including blog posts, email newsletters, social media updates, and even podcast episodes. This moves SEO from theory to a practical, content-driven reality.4. Marketing in Action: Live Business ConsultationsApplying marketing theory to real-world businesses is the fastest path to clarity. This section analyzes the specific, actionable advice given to two entrepreneurs, providing a blueprint for any product-based business seeking to translate online presence into measurable results.5. Tools & Resources MentionedThe selection of a tool, particularly for email marketing, is not just a matter of features but also of technical performance. As discussed in the episode, platforms with strong server infrastructure (like Flodesk's partnership with Amazon SES) can significantly impact email deliverability, a key component of the overall marketing ecosystem.• AI Idea Generation: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, DeepSeek, Grok• Email Marketing Platforms: Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Flodesk (preferred), Aweber, Kit, Brevo• Website Hosting: GoDaddy, BlueHost, Hostinger, SiteGround• Website Builders: Webador• Social & Content Platforms: Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Clubhouse• E-commerce: AmazonSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life. In this powerful episode of She Speaks Life, Jayme Elizabeth sits down with author, speaker, and YouTube teacher Kris Reece to unpack a topic many believers may quietly struggle with: narcissism and toxic relationships.Kris shares the heart behind her book, Breaking the Narcissist's Grip, and how God called her to help believers break free from controlling, manipulative dynamics so they can reclaim the peace, identity, and confidence God intended for them. Kris dives into what narcissism really looks like, why it's more common than we think, and how it shows up in families, marriages, friendships, and even Christian spaces. You'll gain biblical clarity on:The different types of narcissistic traits (including covert narcissism)Why toxic relationships create confusion, self-doubt, and spiritual exhaustionHow codependency and trauma bonds keep people stuckWhat Scripture teaches about confrontation, discernment, and obedienceHow to set healthy, biblical boundaries—and why boundaries don't look the same for every relationshipThe difference between forgiveness, trust, reconciliation, and accessThis conversation will bring validation, wisdom, and hope. Most importantly, it will help you shift your focus off the toxic dynamic and back onto what God wants to heal and restore in your life.✨ Takeaway: You are responsible for obedience—not outcomes. When you stop striving and invite God to do His work, freedom begins.

What if every “I am not enough,” “I am unworthy,” or “I am unloved” whisper could be silenced by the voice of Jesus within you? In this revelatory episode of Perspectives with Catherine Toon, theologian and author Dr. C. Baxter Kruger unpacks how the lies of shame and separation shape our souls—and how Christ’s “I AM” restores us to wholeness. Baxter shares life-changing insights from his soul diagram and Trinitarian theology, explaining how evil plants the lie of “I am not” early in our pain, and how Jesus descends into our darkness to rewrite our story from within. Through vivid stories of healing, scripture reflections, and practical questions like “Jesus, are You in me?” and “What are my ‘I am nots'?" Baxter and Catherine lead us into a deeply personal encounter with the indwelling Christ. Discover how identity in Christ dismantles religion’s striving, and how hearing God’s voice within restores security, belonging, and joy. Learn how to recognize the Father’s goodness, the Spirit’s companionship, and the freedom that comes when shame and striving fall away. “There is no place in our being deeper than the union of the Father, Son, and Spirit with us.” – Baxter Kruger Experience the reality that you are already included, already loved, already whole. Episode Description: In this episode of the Beet Podcast, we revisit Kevin's talk with Chef Chris Starkus. They dig into dry farming, water security, and the surprising ways urban population booms shape the food on our plates. Chris also goes beyond the usual “farm-to-table” vibe with creative cooking tips, preservation techniques, and new ways to use every last leaf from your garden. And yes, he exposes the wild water waste hiding in commercial kitchens, and how he's helping fix it with tech that saves more water than you'd believe. Connect with Chris Starkus: Chris Starkus is a chef, farmer, and journeyman beekeeper who's spent 25+ years stirring up the hospitality world with award-winning restaurants and rooftop apiaries. Named one of Denver's Top 25 Under 40, he's opened celebrated kitchens like Urban Farmer Denver while championing full-circle sustainability before it was cool. Today, he partners with the startup Boss Defrost to help save water worldwide and teaches the next generation of eco-minded cooks at Warren Tech. For Chris, sustainability is the whole recipe.
