We‘re a real-play D&D 5e homebrew campaign about a group of irreverent idiots exploring what‘s essentially adventure island. They‘ve signed a contract, even if they couldn‘t read it... and what‘s up with these weird coins?
The Disasters retreat from the approaching screams of what they suspect to be ghostly Shadows, and discover the hidden sanctuary of the residents of this underground settlement. Will they escape the battle... or will something worse happen? And where the hell is Brildr?
Still missing one of their party, the Disasters head down into the caverns and underdark from beneath the lake of the Great Well. Most of them are convinced that it's all just an elaborate test, but time is ticking, and they still don't know where their friend has been taken (or went?).
As the Disasters move forward toward the Great Well, they find themselves one party member short. What happened to Brildr during watch? Will they find her and achieve their mission objective? Is this all just some elaborate test?
After several attacks while attempting to rest, the group warily continues forward, some more paranoid of the situation and surroundings than others. Just as they almost reach the waterfall for their information gathering mission, someone goes missing in the night, with not a sound to betray the struggle or abduction...
With their battle against the shimmers at the riverbank won, and some of them at least mostly recovered after a short rest, the Disasters continue on toward their destination of the Great Well. Unfortunately Sylmaris's player was unable to attend this session, and despite recovery from the Shimmers' attacks, his character is briefly settled to the background.
While the Disasters attempt to relax with a short break on the riverbank, the shimmering waters prove more dangerous than they first appeared. Unfortunately, Brildr cannot yet be done with the "woowoo shit", much though she would wish it. The fight is on as the party is attacked by... the light itself?
The flip of a coin decides the Disasters on their next destination - the Great Well to gather information for their quest, or back to town to attempt to help their shadow-less friend. What will they encounter on their way? Luckily the sun is out, and the day is bright. Or is that really lucky after all?
With the combat against the cave ghosts? shadows? whatever they were done, the Kenku alive and moving, and an escape from the previous battle, the Disasters have settled in to rest for what remains of the night. Brildr is too wired from the fight and fearful of other undead attacking, and chooses to stay up and take watch. During this, she learns that the Quill is now without his shadow, and the group must decide how they are going to handle this issue. Do they return to town? Do they press on?
In episode 12 of Skydaddy Is Watching, the Disasters continue their battle against the cave shadows. One has fallen, and we shall now see what comes of such a fate with the Coins thrown into the mix.
On the midnight watch the ArgleBarb philosophy chat was interrupted by the sudden awareness of evil surrounding them. The Disasters have all been woken up and are preparing, or attempting to prepare, for whatever may come next. Disasters: roll to attack.... the darkness?
In episode 10 the first of many ArgleBarb Philosophy Hour chats occurs... Arg and Barbie on midnight watch, chatting about whatever seems to cross their minds. Herein they discuss the issues arose from Brussalyn's verbal blunder with Sylmaris, paradoxes, and the possibility of yet more evil within their group...
In episode 9 of the DnDisaster Story Campaign "Skydaddy is Watching" the Disasters continue their trek toward the Great Well, a waterfall/lake that was marked as an area of note on their starter map. On their way they've discovered that all traces of the goblin tribe they'd investigated and fought have disappeared, and they decide to look for any clues as to what might have happened.
The group is finally all together again after conspiracies and potatoes and investigations. With things at least partially resolved - at least to the extent that they can be for the moment - they head back out to the wilderness on their next quest. What will they find on their way to the waterfall, and what does Sylmaris want with Allepsa on their way out of town?
Brildr has returned from her talks and plotting with Allepsa, and runs into Argleblarg as they both head back to the Inn for the night. Arg takes the opportunity to not only assure that she didn't get murdered either, but also fill her in on everything that's been happening in his own interpretation of Events thus far.

Questions are asked, things are almost learned, and a bedazzled potato may be the start of some disastrous drama.
Hello Disasters! Welcome to the Prologue of Skydaddy is Watching. In this short blurb you'll learn a little bit about the Disasters and what they've been up to on the island. Sit back, relax, let the session commence - Oft high on adventure yet lacking in sense - it might become bawdy and it might become gory - but as you will see, like most D&D, it definitely be a Disaster Story.
