Mitch Horowitz joins us today for a deep dive into the hidden layers of our reality, exploring the intersection of high strangeness, ritual magic, and ancient mysticism. From the dimensional nature of UFOs and the "masks" worn by entities to the startling parallels between modern contact rituals and religious miracles, we investigate the forces that shape our world from the shadows. We also touch on the power of sigils, the dangers of occult experimentation, and Mitch's own personal experiences with the esoteric. Welcome to Camp!
Christians are confronting a subtle but dangerous spiritual threat disguised as ease. Convenience can bless us when it serves God's purpose, yet it quietly harms us when it replaces devotion, obedience, and community. If we find ourselves at this point, we can remember how passion once burned in us and examine what caused that fire to fade. Apathy often hides behind the language of efficiency, speed, and personal comfort. God is challenging us choose Christ's mission over convenience so that we can step into deeper maturity and lasting impact. The Antichrist. Armageddon. The Beast. 666. For centuries, the book of Revelation has fascinated, frightened, and confused Christians, but what if we've been so focused on decoding its mysteries that we've missed its main message? The Revelation is a 3-month journey through the Bible's final book, exploring its controversial prophecies, warnings to the Church, and breathtaking vision of the future. Along the way, we'll separate Scripture from speculation and discover that Revelation wasn't written just to make us afraid of what's coming. It was written to reveal Jesus Christ - the King who reigns over all other powers, the Lamb who conquers evil, and the Savior who promises that pain, death, and darkness won't have the last word. The future belongs to Jesus, and that should change how we live right now.
Donald Trump's decision to launch military action against Iran raises a fundamental question: what happens when presidential war-making bypasses the constitutional checks designed to restrain it? Since joint U.S.-Israeli strikes began on February 28, 2026, 18 American service members have been killed and hundreds more wounded. This illegal war is a reminder that constitutional checks, professional statecraft, and rigorously vetted intelligence are not merely bureaucratic obstacles. They are safeguards designed to prevent catastrophic miscalculations, protect American lives, and preserve stability in an increasingly dangerous world. Bill Gates has generally been an AI optimist. Three years ago, he wrote that AI had downsides, but the risks were “manageable.” This week, Gates wrote a new memo, headlined: “The Turbulent AI Era Is Here. The Choices We Make Now Are Critical.” He joins the show to raise the alarm about the dangers he sees in artificial intelligence—economic upheaval, social unrest, cyberattacks, bioterrorism—and most crucial, what he sees as a failure of experts and governments to take these threats seriously enough. “The lack of dialogue with all parts of society is kind of deafening silence,” he tells Hanna Rosin. “Anyone who analogizes AI as a technology to other technologies is missing that this time is different. And saying something is different, there's a very high bar for that, but I'm staking whatever reputation I have [on] saying this time is different.” They have a wide-ranging conversation—also available on video—about his evolving views on AI and what he misjudged in his interactions with Jeffrey Epstein. - - - Get more from your favorite Atlantic voices when you subscribe. On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, one of the dangers of so-called national conservatism, which has a relatively small following, is that it overlaps with the left by de-emphasizing individualism and stressing that each nation-state should simply be what it wishes. This isolationist approach should be rejected. We need to affirm American sovereignty, strong borders, traditional religion and culture, traditional family structures, and opposition to international institutions like the UN in favor of the Constitution. National conservatism's economic protectionism and interventionism skate too close to the left and serve as excuses for isolationism, centralization that erodes federalism, and more government control; the opposite is needed—deregulation, further tax cuts, and shrinking the central government—lest economic collapse destroy civil society, as the COVID-era attacks on liberties in blue states and cities already demonstrated. Also, Maggie Haberman is a supposed New York Times journalist who is a Trump-hating thug. She's a new journalist who mixes facts, gossip, and fake news. She now suggests that Melania Trump may be upset about President Trump's special assistant Natalie Harp. She's a sleazeball for attacking hardworking women who support the president instead of backing them. Later, there is no truly affordable blue city or blue state in the country for working people and the middle class who keep the nation running—only for welfare recipients or illegal aliens who pay nothing. High sales taxes, gasoline taxes, property taxes, commuter taxes, and various invented fees and user charges fall heavily on those who work and own homes, effectively forcing homeowners to pay a second mortgage to the government after the bank's. Finally, Jon Levine Calls in to discuss his report that Hasan Piker's younger brother Murat is an aerospace engineer who held active security clearances and spent more than a decade at Boeing Defense & Space working on major U.S. military projects. These included the presidential Air Force One (VC-25B), and the E-6B “doomsday plane” designed to maintain nuclear command in wartime. Murat has regularly appeared on his brother's livestreams and at events while Hasan has supported Hamas, praised Hezbollah, and said America “deserved 9/11.” How did he get security clearance? In this episode of This Week In AML, Joe McNamara fills in for Elliot Berman and joins John Byrne for a packed week of AML news on both sides of the Atlantic. The conversation opens with the fallout from Treasury and FinCEN's final rule eliminating domestic beneficial ownership reporting under the Corporate Transparency Act, then moves to Transparency International's guidance for EU member states that have not yet published a national anti-corruption strategy. Ireland, one of the six late adopters named in that report, has now released its first national AML/CFT/CPF strategy, and John walks through its five strategic goals and three pillars ahead of AMLA supervision and FATF evaluation. The hosts also cover the UN Security Council's 38th Monitoring Team report on ISIL, AMLA's warning that money laundering in the EU property sector could deepen the housing crisis, and the OCC's conditional approval of a national trust bank charter for World Liberty Trust Company, along with the sharp objections raised by Senator Elizabeth Warren and others over conflicts of interest. Stateside, they close on Treasury: an unreleased internal report on the risks of an AI bubble, and the department's public request for comment on GENIUS Act implementation. John rounds out the episode with a $165 million crypto Ponzi indictment reported by OCCRP. He closes with a bonus lesson reminding entrepreneurs that family and relationships ultimately matter more than business success.Bullet Points:Key differences between building a brand and opportunistic selling in e-commerce.Importance of hiring talented individuals for business growth and success. The dominance of Amazon in the e-commerce landscape and strategies for leveraging it.Challenges associated with building an omnichannel brand across various platforms.Significance of having a sustainable business money model, including customer retention strategies.Necessity of active management and adaptability in the fast-paced e-commerce environment.Understanding and optimizing return on invested capital (ROIC) for financial health.Dangers of comparing one's business to others and focusing on personal growth instead.Importance of cash conversion cycle in scaling an e-commerce business effectively.Emphasis on prioritizing family and relationships over business achievements for personal fulfillment.Timestamps:00:00:54 Lesson 1: Brand Building vs. Opportunistic SellingDefining the difference between building a true brand with a customer journey versus being an opportunistic arbitrage seller on Amazon.00:06:43 Lesson 2: The Best ROI is PeopleHiring talented people who are smarter than you provides the greatest return on investment and leverage in your business.00:09:21 Lesson 3: Amazon is Still KingAmazon will continue to dominate e-commerce, so entrepreneurs should lean into its strengths rather than trying to diversify away completely.00:11:42 Lesson 4: The Difficulty of Building an Omnichannel BrandBuilding a successful omnichannel brand is extremely difficult because each platform (Amazon, Shopify, TikTok) requires a completely different skillset.00:14:49 Lesson 5: The Importance of the Money ModelA business model with compounding customers, like subscriptions, is ten times easier to scale than one focused on front-end acquisition.00:18:17 Lesson 6: Active Management and Adaptability are RequiredE-commerce is not a "set it and forget it" business; it requires constant learning, adaptation, and active management to succeed.00:21:13 Lesson 7: Understanding Return on Invested CapitalKnowing your return on invested capital is a critical, yet often overlooked, metric for making smart inventory and business decisions.00:25:02 Lesson 8: Avoid Harmful ComparisonsComparing your brand to others is damaging because you don't know the financial reality or unique circumstances behind their success.00:29:39 Lesson 9: Cash Conversion Cycle is EverythingThe time it takes to get your capital back after investing in inventory is the key constraint to scaling an e-commerce business.00:35:57 Bonus Lesson: Family and Relationships Matter MostThe greatest fulfillment in life comes from family and relationships, not from the money or success achieved in business.Links and Mentions:Tools and Websites"Amazon": "00:00:00""Shopify": "00:00:00""TikTok Shop": "00:00:00""FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon)": "00:10:48""AWS (Amazon Web Services)": "00:10:48""Meta (Facebook/Instagram)": "00:12:49"Podcasts and Videos"Ecomm Breakthrough Podcast": "00:00:00""Podcast on Building a Brand": "00:04:48""Podcast on Cash Conversion Cycle": "00:34:39"Summary of Lessons"Opportunistic Selling vs. Building a Brand": "00:00:54""People Over Everything": "00:07:51""Amazon's Dominance": "00:09:49""Omnichannel Challenges": "00:11:42""Compounding Customer Base": "00:15:55""Active Management": "00:19:04""Return on Invested Capital": "00:22:14""Avoiding Comparisons": "00:25:02""Cash Conversion Cycle": "00:29:39"Bonus Lesson"Family and Relationships": "00:36:32"Transcript:Josh Hadley 00:00:00 Today, I'm going to share with you the top nine vital lessons that I have learned while selling in the e-commerce space for over a decade. Welcome to the Econ Breakthrough Podcast! I'm Josh Hadley. I've scaled my own ecommerce brand from 0 to 8 figures, and I'm actively building towards nine figures in sales. This podcast is where I document that journey and share the systems, the strategies, and the lessons learned in real time so that you can learn what actually matters and scale your own business. My name is Josh Hadley. First and foremost, I'm a man of faith. I'm a husband to a beautiful wife and the father of four children. I've been selling in the e-commerce space for over a decade, doing over $20 million in annual revenue and selling multi-millionaire on channels such as Amazon, Shopify and TikTok. Shop. And last but not least, I am also the host to the number one business strategy podcast for eCommerce entrepreneurs, which is E-com breakthrough. As we dive in today, I'm going to be sharing with you the top nine lessons that I have learned that I wish I would have known and had.Josh Hadley 00:00:54 These lessons kind of taught to me prior to starting in the e-commerce space over a decade ago. These are going to go in ascending order. And so when we get to number nine, this is what I believe is one of the biggest lessons that I learned and the biggest lesson that I wish I would have understood. And the biggest thing that I'm trying to communicate to anyone that is starting in the e-commerce space here, brand new today. So here's lesson number one. Lesson number one is defining the difference between an opportunistic e-commerce opportunity versus actually building a brand. Those are two very, very different things. And honestly, in the number of conferences that I go t...

True Christian living is all about resting in the finished works of Jesus Christ. When Jesus declared "It is finished," He meant that redemption, righteousness, and blessings are complete and can't be earned; it's critical that we understand this. The call is to labor—not to achieve, but to stay in alignment through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship. Righteousness, healing, and prosperity are gifts, not goals, and striving to earn them short-circuits grace and numbs intimacy with God. We can stop trying to perform for acceptance and instead trust that we're already fully loved, forgiven, and complete in Him. o support the ministry financially, text "CDMPodcast" to 74483 or visit www.worldchangers.org

As summer wraps up in Pennsylvania, Asia Tabb sits down with Pennsylvania Deputy Secretary of Tourism Anne Ryan for a postmortem look at how the Commonwealth handled a busy summer filled with major events, festivals, and visitors. They discuss what went well, the challenges along the way, the economic and tourism impacts across the state, and what Pennsylvania learned from the experience. It's a chance to assess the results of the preparation efforts discussed earlier this year and explore what the season ultimately meant for Pennsylvania's communities, businesses, and tourism industry.Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick is calling for stricter regulation, and potentially a statewide ban, on kratom, a widely available substance he says has been linked to deaths in central Pennsylvania. Sold in gas stations and convenience stores with few restrictions, kratom has sparked growing concern among public health and medical professionals. On this episode of The Spark, we examine what kratom is, why some people use it, the health risks associated with it, and the debate over regulation. Experts in addiction medicine, toxicology, and emergency care join the conversation to discuss the science, public safety concerns, and what Pennsylvanians should know about this controversial substance.

Why do some retreat leaders build thriving businesses while others give up after one launch? It's usually not because they're better marketers. It's not because they have a bigger audience. And it's rarely because they have the perfect retreat. It's because they keep showing up. In this solo episode, Shannon Jamail shares one of the biggest mindset shifts every retreat leader needs to hear: success doesn't come from avoiding failure-it comes from refusing to quit. Using Thomas Edison's famous light bulb story as a starting point, Shannon explains why silence, slow sales, and objections aren't signs your retreat is failing. They're simply part of building a business. If you're wondering whether your retreat is worth continuing to promote, this episode is your reminder to keep going. In This Episode You'll Learn: Whether you're planning your first retreat or you've been leading retreats for years, this episode will encourage you to keep showing up-even when it feels like no one is watching. Key Takeaways Silence Isn't Failure A quiet week doesn't mean your retreat won't fill. It means your marketing is still working its way through the process. Don't Confuse Feedback With Failure A "no" is information. A slow launch is information. Use it to improve-not to quit. The Best Retreat Leaders Stay Visible People rarely book after seeing your retreat once. Consistency builds familiarity, trust, and eventually bookings. Success Belongs to Those Who Keep Going Every successful retreat leader has experienced objections, slow sales, and moments of doubt. The difference is they kept showing up. Your Future Guests Can't Book a Retreat They Never See Visibility isn't a one-time event. It's a habit. Subscribe: Apple Podcast | Google Podcast | Spotify --------- TIMESTAMPS The Real Reason You're Losing Money (00:00:55) Shannon reveals the biggest mistake retreat leaders make: they stop showing up and promoting their offerings too soon. The Thomas Edison Analogy (00:01:09) Using Thomas Edison's persistence, Shannon illustrates the importance of viewing "no's" and objections as data, not failure. Handling Rejection and Feedback (00:02:17) Shannon discusses why retreat leaders spiral after rejection and encourages them to see feedback as data points for improvement. Refining Your Message (00:03:23) Instead of giving up, leaders should analyze feedback to refine their messaging and better communicate their retreat's core transformation. Silence is Not a Verdict (00:04:43) Shannon emphasizes that a lack of sign-ups isn't a reason to quit, but a signal to analyze your messaging. The Power of Desire Over Objections (00:06:02) When a potential client truly desires the transformation you offer, objections like price or time become irrelevant. A Personal Story of Persistence (00:07:05) Shannon shares her personal story of overcoming financial and time objections to attend a retreat in France she truly valued. The Dangers of a Scarcity Mindset (00:09:04) Operating from a place of fear and scarcity will sabotage your efforts and be felt by your potential clients. The Key to Success: Show Up (00:10:01) Shannon reiterates that consistently showing up with belief in your offering is what leads to registrations and a successful business. Common Visibility Mistakes (00:11:04) Many leaders fail because their retreat is hard to find online and their messaging isn't clear to their ideal client. Borrowing Belief from Others (00:11:55) Shannon advises getting into rooms with successful peers to borrow their belief and strengthen your own resolve to succeed.
Brian T. Kennedy, president of the American Strategy Group, chairman of the Committee on the Present Danger: China, and a board member and senior fellow of the Claremont Institute, shares on the importance of policing and the dangers of communism in America. The conversation starts with a nostalgic look back at classic television cop shows like Hill Street Blues and Hawaii Five-O, which highlighted the importance of law enforcement in maintaining a civil society. Seth and Brian touch on the normalization of communism in America, with Brian pointing out the alarming trend of Marxist ideology taking hold in the Democratic Party. He argues that this is a result of a lack of understanding and a failure to articulate the dangers of communism, which has led to a culture of tolerance for radical ideologies. Seth and Brian also discuss the importance of national defense and the need for a strong military to protect American interests.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

All Else Equal is taking a short break over the summer and will be revisiting some of our favorite conversations from last season. The show will be back with new episodes soon. Whether it be in politics, public health, or corporate finance, why are people more likely to interpret facts or data in a way that fits their preconceived notions about the world as opposed to searching for the fundamental truth? A new paper from the Harvard Business School called, Sharing Models to Interpret Data (by Joshua Schwartzstein and Adi Sunderam) studies the propensity for people to adopt interpretations to data based on their community's beliefs, and why this can lead to less accurate conclusions. Hosts and finance professors Jonathan Berk and Jules van Binsbergen are joined by the paper's co-author Adi Sunderam, who is a professor of corporate finance at Harvard Business School, a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a co-editor of the Journal of Finance. The conversation covers the complexity of Bayesian updating and how the process is improperly deployed in today's thinking, not only in corporate decision-making but also on a sociological level. They also discuss Sunderam's model for explaining how people interpret data, why people are more likely to fall into group-belief dynamics, and if there are any interventions that would lead to better decision-making. For so many people, a single body comment has stayed with them for years. Someone remarks on what's on your plate, or how you look compared to last time they saw you, and you stand there without knowing what to say. Commenting on bodies got normalized somewhere along the way, and most of us were never given the language to push back on it. But what if you already have the right to end that conversation, and the only missing piece is knowing what to say? In this episode, we talk about what happens when people comment on your body, your food, or your weight, and what you can actually say back. Between the three of us we have lived this from opposite sides. Comments about being too thin, comments about gaining weight, comments in a larger body, comments filtered through cultural norms where remarking on appearance is the first thing out of someone's mouth. What we bring to this conversation is a range of responses that fit different relationships, different rooms, and different levels of energy on any given day. In this episode, you will discover: The reason a comment about your body says almost nothing about your body What most people never realize they are doing when diet culture teaches them that commenting is helpful The one question to ask yourself before you decide whether to respond at all Why unsolicited advice about your health so often arrives dressed as concern What setting boundaries actually sounds like with the family member you cannot avoid What to say when someone celebrates their own weight loss Why food comments at a party are rarely about the food What body shaming looks like when it comes wrapped in a compliment The part of body autonomy that requires no explanation from you to anyone Why food freedom includes eating without explaining your choices Protecting your body image does not require a confrontation, and this episode shows exactly what it does require. Blood on the Sawdust: The Brutal World of Victorian Boxing Episode Overview In this 9th Anniversary Special, we step out of the West End drawing rooms and into the blood-flecked, sawdust-covered floors of 19th-century “Fancy” public houses. Inspired by the depiction of East End street culture in A Thousand Blows, this episode explores the history of Victorian boxing—from the illegal bare-knuckle bouts of the Regency era to the gentrified, gloved sport codified under the Marquess of Queensberry Rules. We examine how prizefighting evolved from a brutal survival strategy into a national obsession, the legal cat-and-mouse games played across county lines, and the medical and physical toll extracted from the fighters. We also dive into the remarkable life of international combat instructor Colonel Thomas Hoyer Monstery and uncover the overlooked history of 19th-century female prizefighters. Key Topics Covered: Housekeeping & AI Voice Policy: Why the podcast is permanently stepping away from AI-generated voice models in favour of human research, along with updates on replacement recording equipment and audio access. The “Sweet Science” & Prizefighting History: How bare-knuckle fighting functioned as a mix of martial arts, local wrestling, and survival in an era where the body was often a worker’s sole asset. The Structural Cage of the Law: The jurisdictional loopholes that allowed fights to flourish on county borders, and the evolution of legal precedents from R v Billingham (1825) to R v Coney (1882). The Aristocratic “Fancy” & Early Pioneers: The rise of sports journalism via Pierce Egan's Boxiana, and landmark international contests like the 1810 bout between Tom Cribb and former American slave Tom Molineaux. Case Study – The Ruin of Harry Broome: Following the career arc of Harry Broome from his controversial match at Acorn Bridge to his defeat by Tom Paddock and his eventual death in poverty. The Queensberry Transition: Why the introduction of gloves in 1867 was viewed with suspicion by working-class fighters, and how padded gloves inadvertently increased the long-term risk of chronic brain injury. Gentlemen, Self-Defence & Martial Arts: Highlights from Colonel Thomas Hoyer Monstery's C19th treatise Self Defence for Ladies and Gentlemen, including his views on boxing over firearms and his praise for female swordmasters. Women in the Ring: The subversion of Victorian gender norms, focusing on the 1888 world championship bout between Hattie Leslie and Alice Leary, and the legal outrage that followed. The Ship Report, Tuesday, August 11, 2026Today we'll talk about a useful guideline for navigating in heavily tidal waters like the Columbia. It's called the Rule of 12ths.The Rule of 12ths divides the tidal cycle into segments, and shows when the most active times are happening. It offers a useful pattern to determine when the falling or rising tide will be exerting its strongest influence in the river.A good tool to decide when to go out in a small boat, what times to avoid, and how to use the tide to your advantage if you are traveling on the river.

Mary welcomes author and watchman David Spagnola to talk about what we need to heed in this late hour regarding the church. The “third watch” of the night in the Bible represented a specific military guard shift and symbolized alertness, readiness and things that go bump in the deep night. As a church, David warns us in his book, “The Silent Pulpit” of the dangers, toils and snares of the times we live in, specifically things preachers no longer preach. As a watchman, he exposes the patterns that churches have fallen into, thinking they are simply “doing church” when in reality the slide toward lukewarmness is so far gone, one wonders what the church was ever supposed to look like anymore. David has a love for the church and Bible prophecy and while writing about such things is grievous and sobering, to fail to warn the church is to be a watchmen that has fallen asleep on his or her shift. And at this point, it’s the late shifts that are the most difficult. Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A
