Amazing dog trainer, teacher, speaker, curator of dog knowledge, and so many other things, Tyler is such an inspiration and generally great guy We talk about how he got his start training in a church, putting space heaters in a parking lot in a Buffalo NY winter, getting his first building and running out of money, hiring people and realizing he was a bad manager, mental health struggles that are so relatable for many entrepreneurs, his run as president of the IACP, his brush with allowing his ego to change in a way he hated, prioritizing his family and mental well-being over business, and how he successfully pivoted to an online subscription model with Consider the Dog in order to reach and help more owners and trainers, while still maintaining a physical location - WHEW!!
