We don't fully understand how good we have it creating in 2023 and beyond, BUT with that being said, it's going to be even harder to stand out due to the NOISE that's out there as well as the AMOUNT of content being released. “Unlock Your YouTube Success with TubeBuddy: Skyrocket Your Channel Growth Effortlessly!

#738 The demographics we use to define our target audiences aren't actually helping us. Think about it—is it really the case that the people you want to attract share the same age, gender, or location? Or is it that they all share the same niche goal? Having one specific problem to help your followers with is essential for brand recognition and successful business growth online! Deep Pocket Monster, my Pokemon-focused channel, is a prime example of this. My 700K subscribers are people from all backgrounds, but their goal in this space is the same. In a refreshing twist, this week's episode of our podcast takes an exciting turn - and I'm confident you're going to love it! We're thrilled to present a podcast swap with the incredibly talented Katie Lance.   I'm sharing one of my top picks from Katie's podcast collection. In this episode, she has a conversation with Stephanie Chumbley, the Director of Social Media and Education at Chicago Title in Portland, OR.   Stephanie offers invaluable insights, particularly about content creation and mastering the art of time blocking. Here are my favorite pearls: Harness the Power of Listening: Transform your listening skills into a content generation tool. Keep track of daily occurrences, note the questions you're asked, and weave these elements into your social media content. Use Movement for Focus: Integrate movement into your routine. It's not just about physical health; it's a strategy to enhance grounding and focus, ultimately leading to more efficient time management. Embrace Imperfection in Videos: Don't shy away from mistakes in your video content. Perfection isn't the goal; relatability is. Remember, being genuine and approachable resonates more than flawless execution. Take a listen and let me know what you think.   Tune into Katie's Podcast here.   Follow Stephanie on Instagram here.

#726 Much of the knowledge I acquired when I started blogging is still with me. I have my early inspirations, Darren Rowse, Yaro Starak, and Seth Godin, to thank for that! In fact, one of Seth Godin's concepts that I often return to is the power of naming it. But what is it? It can be anything you teach or create. When you label something, you make it real. The messy middle, the part of the entrepreneurial journey between early excitement for an idea and when you finally reach your goals, comes to mind.
