Episode Overview Summer is supposed to be carefree—but for many women in larger bodies, it can feel like a season of dread, discomfort, and constant self-monitoring. In this deeply personal episode, Annie shares her experience navigating summers in a larger body and the hidden emotional labor that often comes with it. From avoiding pools and photos to worrying about seating, clothing, physical comfort, and judgment from others, she unpacks the realities that many women quietly carry. Together, Annie and Jen discuss the difference between choosing not to participate and feeling unable to participate, why "just wear the swimsuit" isn't always helpful advice, and how women can begin taking small, meaningful steps toward showing up more fully in their lives. Whether you've struggled with body image, avoided summer activities, or simply want to feel more present this season, this episode offers practical strategies and a compassionate perspective for navigating summer in the body you have right now. Are you dealing with unexpected weight regain or debilitating acid reflux years after your bariatric surgery? You are not alone. In this episode of the Our Sleeved Life Podcast (OSLP), Mel sits down with bariatric surgeon Dr. Betsy Dovec and registered dietitian Hannah Schuyler, the power duo behind Body by Bariatrics. Together, they pull back the curtain on why gastric sleeves commonly lead to new-onset acid reflux, what a "retained fundus" actually means for your hunger hormones (ghrelin), and why weight regain is often a structural issue rather than a personal failure. Dr. Dovec and Hannah share how their patient-first, 100% virtual private practice is completely disrupting hospital-employed healthcare models by slashing 6-month wait times down to just one week. Plus, we explore the powerful, synergistic relationship between bariatric surgery and GLP-1 medications, why insurance hoops are fundamentally broken, and whether or not there's an age limit to reclaiming your vitality. If you've been suffering in silence or beating yourself up over your post-op struggles, this episode is a must-watch masterclass on reclaiming your health, your quality of life, and your anatomy! ✨ Take action on your health today! ⚡️Click Here To Text Monique! This week, Monique sits down with Dr. Kemi Dole, a gynecologic oncologist, surgeon, and debut author, for a conversation that is equal parts education, confession, and wake-up call.Dr. Dole's new book, A Terrible Strength: The Hidden Crisis of the Black Womb and Your Survival Guide to Healing (Penguin Random House, May 2026), does what most medical books never do: it tells the truth in plain language, with warmth, and without talking down to you. In this episode, Monique shares how it changed her relationship to her own body, and Dr. Dole walks us through why so many Black women are bleeding too much, dismissed too quickly, and left to suffer in silence for far too long. They get into the real numbers behind heavy periods and anemia, what your bleeding is actually telling you, and why the medical system has been so slow to listen. Dr. Dole also opens up about her own reckoning, including missing her own endometriosis diagnosis until she was on the operating table. The conversation closes on the concept of womb sisterhood: the idea that healing this well-kept secret should not be a solo effort, and that the women in your life might be waiting for someone to simply ask.GUEST INFODr. Kemi Doll, physician, surgeon, advocate, career coach, and a double-board certified gynecologic oncologist and uterine cancer scientist |  Website | Book | Podcast |  InstagramGEMS DROPPED“I want women to have better gynecologic health. I don't want us to continue thinking about gynecologic health as though, “as long as it's not killing you, it's probably fine.” - Dr. Kemi Doll“I didn't realize  how much I saw myself as a site of production, until you taught me that the unpregnant womb had its own life and role to play. And that my bleeding spoke an intricate language and that my well being  was a part of that language.”  - Monique R, Shields“There's something very powerful about receiving the message so young that, “when you suffer, be quiet about it.” That message carries forward in a way that goes beyond gynecology and womb health. And that is what I want us to heal from.” - Dr. Kemi Doll“I invoke this concept of womb sisterhood, which means having one or two people in our lives we can share these things with so when you go to the doctor, you have someone who can come with you. you. There isn't embarrassment. There doesn't have to be silencing. These are such vulnerable appointments and having someone there who has your back can make a real difference. Long before Pivot Ball Change became what it is today, there was a little girl with a big dream of becoming a professional dancer, and she actually made it happen. This episode peels back the curtain on that journey, from landing a contract with Celebrity Cruise Lines to living aboard a ship for six months surrounded by wild rules, unforgettable stories, and some surprisingly audacious Greek officers. The name "Pivot Ball Change" has roots deep in the dance world, and hearing that backstory adds a whole new layer to everything this brand stands for. The episode also gets real about the darker side of a dance career, including the intense pressure to maintain a certain body size, the unhealthy tactics that came with it, and one cruise ship policy around dancers' weight that would absolutely not be acceptable today. Equal parts hilarious, nostalgic, and vulnerable, this one is packed with stories you genuinely will not see coming.Key Topics Covered:The origin of the name "Pivot Ball Change" and its connection to the dance world. My journey as a professional dancer and what it took to make that dream a reality. How I landed a contract with Celebrity Cruise Lines. What daily life actually looks like living on a ship for six months. The strict dress code and food rules dancers were required to follow onboard. The cruise ship's weight policy for dancers and why it wouldn't fly today.Body image pressures and unhealthy habits in the dance industry. The bold (and unwanted) invitation from a Greek officer to his private cabin.Let's Connect!Book Your Podcast Consultation Today: https://www.pivotballchange.com/servicesLaunch Your Podcast with Pivot Ball Change: https://www.pivotballchange.com/servicesFollow Pivot Ball Change on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pivotballchange/Visit Pivot Ball Change's Website: https://www.pivotballchange.com/Riverside: https://riverside.sjv.io/c/6950782/2183832/28064

A volunteer collective in Nogales, Mexico, is actively searching for Nancy Guthrie's remains near the Arizona border — and neither the FBI nor the Pima County Sheriff's Department is involved. What happened to Nancy Guthrie may have crossed an international border, or it may be the latest false lead in a case that keeps attracting them. Either way, the people doing the digging are fifteen volunteers in cartel territory, not federal investigators. The Nancy Guthrie Mexico tip came from an anonymous caller who contacted Buscando Corazones Nogales — a group that searches for the missing in Sonora — claiming Nancy was buried in the Mariposa arroyos west of the border city. He gave a specific location, described landmarks and clothing, and told them to dig. Two searches have produced nothing. The caller reached back out after the first failure with revised directions. A third search is scheduled. This episode examines why a legitimate, experienced search group took this tip seriously enough to mobilize twice — and what the evidence says about whether they should go a third time. The location logic has a dark rationality to it. The caller's persistence could mean knowledge or could mean fabrication. The institutional silence from every federal agency could mean the tip has no weight, or it could mean something else entirely. And the national coverage missed the most important detail: those arroyos were already a graveyard. The volunteers had recovered thirty-two people from that ground before this tip ever arrived.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Does the thought of tackling your home office make you want to close the door and pretend it doesn't exist? You're not alone. In this episode of Clutter Free Academy, Kathi Lipp sits down with Grace Church to discuss why most office decluttering attempts fail—and what actually works instead. What You'll Discover in This Episode August brings that familiar back-to-school energy, and it's the perfect time for adults to reset their systems too. But before you pull everything out of your office for a complete overhaul, Kathi has some important wisdom to share about why that approach almost always backfires. The Truth About Office Gut-Jobs An office gut leaves you in shambles and piles. Instead of a marathon decluttering session, Kathi recommends breaking your office down into manageable pieces—the desk one day, files the next, walls another day. The key? Fifteen minutes is your best decision timeline. Beyond that, you're making poor decisions without the energy to carry them out. Why Your Office Is Like Your Kitchen Grace offers a powerful observation: your office is a space you're working in while trying to work on it—just like a kitchen. It's hard to renovate a space while you're living in it. This is why small, sustainable steps matter more than dramatic overhauls. In this episode, Glenn and Phyllis sit down with John Kilmer — occupational therapist, life coach, and newly certified Connection Coder — for a conversation about how emotion lives in the body long after the moment has passed. John shares what it was like to grow up between countries, why a hospital stay at 18 months still shapes how he trusts, and how his five-year-old recently named his own fear and shame out loud instead of hiding it. Phyllis opens up about coming to the U.S. as a child who couldn't yet read or write English, and learning to disappear. There is a quiet conversation happening inside your body that may be shaping your fertility more than almost anything else you have been told to focus on. It is happening in your gut, your reproductive tract, and your uterus. Until recently, science assumed the uterus was sterile. We now know it is not, and the bacterial communities living in these three places are in constant communication with one another, influencing your hormones, your immune response, and your ability to conceive and carry a pregnancy. In this solo episode, Michelle walks you through what the research actually shows about the gut, vaginal, and uterine microbiomes, why this is one of the most overlooked pieces of the fertility puzzle, and what you can realistically do to support these ecosystems without falling into fear or expensive supplement spirals. You will learn why diversity is wonderful in the gut but not always ideal in the reproductive tract, how the estrobolome regulates your hormones, and how nervous system regulation, sleep, fiber, and fermented foods quietly shape the entire system. This is a grounded, science-backed conversation that gives you a clearer map of your own body. Key Takeaways: The uterus is not sterile. It has its own microbiome that influences implantation, pregnancy, and live birth rates. A reproductive tract dominated by Lactobacillus is associated with significantly better fertility outcomes, including higher IVF success and lower miscarriage and preterm birth rates. Diversity in the gut microbiome is healthy. In the uterus and lower reproductive tract, the opposite is true. A quieter, Lactobacillus-dominant environment is what supports fertility. The estrobolome, a collection of gut bacteria, regulates how your body metabolizes and clears estrogen. When it is off, estrogen can recirculate and contribute to issues like endometriosis, fibroids, and irregular cycles. Roughly 70 percent of your immune system lives in your gut, and gut inflammation can show up as uterine inflammation, affecting implantation. Antibiotics, hormonal birth control, chronic stress, poor sleep, and harsh products like douches and scented washes all disrupt these microbiomes. Foundational support is simple and accessible: a wide variety of plant fibers, real fermented foods, consistent sleep, nervous system regulation, and leaving the lower reproductive tract alone. Microbiome testing is now far more accessible and gives you specific information about your own body, so you can stop guessing and make targeted choices instead of throwing every wellness tool at the problem. Inspired by Robert Monroe's books, Stefano trained at the Monroe Institute, became a trainer in Europe, helped bring the technology to Eastern Bloc countries after the Soviet Republic collapsed, and now supports and endorses Darius J. Wright's work. Stefano explains OBEs as normal and connected to sleep, dreams, and lucid dreaming, describing “mind awake, body asleep” as akin to deep meditation. He says conscious OBEs can transform one's view of identity, reality, death, and loss, and frames adversity as a catalyst that can push people toward availability for “what more is possible,” recommending Wright's online resources for further exploration. 00:00 Welcome and Intro 00:51 Stefano Background 01:31 Childhood OBEs 03:06 Monroe Institute Journey 03:54 Life Changes and Growth 04:57 Demystifying OBEs 05:53 Dreams Lucid and OBE 07:47 Mind Awake Body Asleep 09:13 Why It Matters 10:12 Seeing Your Body 12:13 Adversity as Teacher 15:15 Purpose in Suffering 20:20 Distortion and Chaos 23:29 Escapism and Cookoff Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. What happens to a debt when it's forgiven? In this episode, we explore one of the most overlooked lines in the Lord's Prayer: "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." Drawing from personal devotion and Paul's teaching on the Body of Christ, we wrestle with a simple but profound truth: debt never simply disappears. Someone always absorbs the cost. But what about the debts that can't be measured in dollars? What happens when someone steals your peace, damages your reputation, weakens trust, or leaves emotional wounds behind? How do those debts get paid?We discuss the connection between forgiveness and body life, why unresolved offenses affect more than just the people involved, the difference between restitution and restoration, and why true discipleship requires us to stop justifying our own failures while magnifying the failures of others. At its core, forgiveness is not simply a matter of obedience. It's a matter of faith. Do we trust that when we release what we're owed, God is able to restore what was lost? This conversation will challenge the way you think about forgiveness, responsibility, community, and the transforming power of grace.

But nobody talks about what happens when the parent trying to implement all of it has ADHD too. In this solo episode, JoAnn breaks down why so much ADHD parenting advice quietly assumes a neurotypical parent is the one executing it — and what that means for the rest of us. You'll learn about three things that explain why this advice feels so much harder than it should: Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), demand avoidance, and the interest-based nervous system. Then JoAnn shares three practical strategies that actually work with an ADHD brain — including the timer trick she uses to write her own books, why permissive language isn't the same as permissive parenting, and how body doubling helped her finish a rough draft in a month. In this episode: Why "just create a routine" doesn't work when you're the ADHD parent too The truth about artificial dyes, fear-based advice, and what's actually driving the panic Why enforcing a sleep schedule is especially hard for neurodiverse parents Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD): what it is, what it feels like in your body, and how to work with it Demand avoidance: why even your own to-do list can trigger an automatic "nope" Permissive language: how softening a request can actually get more done The PINCH framework: the five things that actually motivate an ADHD brain Timers and gamification: how to turn any task into a game you actually want to play Why rewards need to stay novel — and what actually works long-term Body doubling: how JoAnn used it to finish her book, and how to set it up for your kids too If you've been feeling like a hypocrite for not being able to do the things you're asking of your ADHD kid, this episode is your permission slip. You're not failing. You're an ADHD parent trying to follow advice written for someone else's brain. Now you've got tools that work for yours. She offers 1:1 sessions, self-paced courses, and online Pilates, and has been featured across multiple grief-focused platforms worldwide. In this episode, Sylvia shares how immersing herself in grief research gave her two transformative gifts: the reassurance that her responses were entirely normal, and a sense of belonging to a universal human experience. She introduces the practice of grief agency — acknowledging a wave when it rises but consciously choosing when to tend to it, so grief no longer arrives as an ambush. She also explores the physical reality of loss, explaining how grief keeps the body in a state of high alert and why tending to basics like hydration, sleep, and movement is a foundational emotional strategy. So often we think of essential oils as the primary form of distillation from aromatic plants. But there is another form of water-based extraction through distillation that is commonly overlooked, and that's hydrosols.Hydrosols are aromatic waters that capture both volatile oils and the water from the steaming process. According to today's guest Emma Prescher, they really are a bridge between the energetic signature of the plant (the plant "beingness") and the physical characteristics within the volatile oils. She speaks to the immense transformational accident that required her to slow down after longtime survival mode and how astrology and herbalism were key parts of her healing journey and ultimately what brought her back to life in a way.We also explore the sensual nature of hydrosols, how they impact your nervous system, the different aromatic profiles of the same plant at different times in the growing season, how tobacco flowers came to be her first hydrosol and so much more. Resources:Free guided womb connection meditation and clearing Today's shownotes: Get links to Emma's offerings, hydrosols etcEpisode 83: What is astro-herbalism with Andrea WebbIf you loved this episode, share it with a friend, or take a screenshot and share on social media and tag me @herbalwombwisdomAnd if you love this podcast, leave a rating & write a review! Summary This conversation centers on the importance of living in continual awareness of God's presence and intentionally including Him in every aspect of daily life. Ron shares how his experience in Israel impacted his walk with the Lord, particularly through the Jewish practice of prayer, memorizing Scripture, and keeping God at the forefront of everyday activities. The discussion highlights how prayer is not merely a religious exercise but a way of welcoming God's presence into every moment. The family also reflect on a worship service at a Messianic Jewish Kehila in Jerusalem, where people of all ages participated by singing and reciting Scripture. This experience served as a powerful picture of the Body of Christ functioning together, with every member contributing. The conversation further explores the beauty of Israel, the faith and resilience of its people, the security provided by the IDF, and the fulfillment of biblical prophecies visible in modern Jerusalem. Throughout the discussion, the emphasis remains on recognizing God's faithfulness, cultivating His presence, and allowing His Word to become a living reality in daily life. Show Notes • Ron shares how his trip to Israel changed his perspective on prayer and daily fellowship with God. • The importance of memorizing Scripture and keeping the Word continually before the Lord. • Dale explains how Jewish culture intentionally includes God in every aspect of life. • Discussion of prayer as the gateway to living in God's presence. • Ron describes attending a Messianic Jewish Kehila where worship centered on Scripture, participation, and community. • The congregation demonstrated a living expression of the Body of Christ, with every person contributing. • Reflections on the beauty and fruitfulness of the land of Israel. • Observations of the security and vigilance of the Israeli people and the IDF. • Testimonies of feeling God's peace and protection while in Israel. • The fulfillment of biblical prophecy seen in the children playing in the streets of Jerusalem. • Recognition of God's faithfulness to His promises and His ongoing work among His people. Key Quotes • "When you do that, it really brings the Lord front and center in an awareness." • "I'm trying to memorize, memorize, memorize so that I can mumble all day long the Word of God." • "The drive of our hearts is to be in His presence always." • "The best way to welcome Him into our presence is prayer." • "To me, it was like an example of the Body of Christ moving where every member supplies." • "I never felt afraid at all, not even once." • "A lot of it had to do with the presence of the Lord." • "The children will be playing once again in the streets of old Jerusalem." • "These kids were having a ball. They were just having fun." Scriptural References Psalm 1 (2) "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night." Referenced through Ron's emphasis on memorizing and continually speaking the Word of God. Psalm 119 (11) "Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You." Reflects the discussion of hiding God's Word in the heart through memorization. Joshua 1 (8) "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night." Illustrates the practice of continually speaking and meditating on God's Word. 1 Thessalonians 5 (17) "Pray without ceasing." Supports the theme of including God in every aspect of life through continual prayer. John 15 (4–5) "Abide in Me, and I in you." Reflects the desire to live continually in God's presence and awareness. Ephesians 4 (16) "From whom the whole body, being fitted and held together... causes the growth of the body." Illustrates Ron's observation of every member participating during worship at the Kehila. 1 Peter 2 (5) "You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house." Supports the picture of a functioning spiritual community where every member contributes. Isaiah 35 (1) "The wilderness and the desert will be glad, and the Arabah will rejoice and blossom like the crocus." Connected to the discussion of Israel's land flourishing and becoming fruitful. Zechariah 8 (4–5) "Old men and old women will again sit in the streets of Jerusalem... and the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in its streets." Directly referenced in the conversation regarding Rothschild Square and children playing in Jerusalem. Psalm 91 (1–2) "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty." Reflects the testimony of experiencing peace and protection while in Israel. Takeaway Living in God's presence is not reserved for special moments of worship or prayer meetings; it is a daily lifestyle of intentionally including Him in everything we do. As believers fill their hearts with His Word, cultivate continual prayer, and remain aware of His nearness, they become increasingly sensitive to His presence and His leading. Out of that relationship flows peace, worship, fellowship, and a living expression of Christ through His Body. The more God becomes the center of everyday life, the more His reality is manifested in and through His people.

In this raw and deeply personal episode, Rachel Wojo shares the moment something inside her broke. Not because God hadn't made her strong enough, but because she had been carrying things He never handed her in the first place. Moses found himself in the same place in Exodus 18, judging every dispute in Israel from morning until evening, until his father-in-law Jethro watched for one day and said plainly: this is not good. The work is too heavy for you. Not a gentle encouragement to pace yourself — a clear-eyed diagnosis that something had to change. Rachel spent years believing the only options were carrying everything or giving up entirely. But Jethro offered Moses a third way, the one God had intended all along: carry what is yours, and let others carry the rest. Letting someone help is not a sign of weakness or failure. It is, as Rachel eventually discovered, one of the most loving things you can do for everyone around you — and for yourself. Today's Bible Verse "What you are doing is not good. You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone." — Exodus 18:17-18, NIV Ponder Today You may be carrying things God never handed you. Not every burden on your shoulders was placed there by Him. Some were picked up out of pride, fear, or the belief that asking for help meant failing. Ask God to show you the difference. Exhaustion is not the same as faithfulness. Confusing the two keeps us from the relief God is offering. A willingness to suffer under an impossible load is not a virtue when God has already provided a better way. There is a third option beyond carrying everything or giving up. Jethro's counsel to Moses was not to quit but to redistribute. Carry what is yours. Release what isn't. Let God work through others to carry the rest. You were made to carry something — but not everything, and never alone. This is not a personal failing. It is how God designed the whole thing from the beginning, a Body that bears one another's burdens, held together by Him. A Prayer for You Today Heavenly Father, I come to You today tired in a way sleep doesn't fix. You see the load I have been carrying — what is mine and what I picked up along the way without anyone asking me to. I have been telling myself that a stronger person could handle this, and a better Christian wouldn't need help. Those are lies. Show me what is mine to carry and what was never mine in the first place. Give me the humility to set down what isn't from You, and the courage to ask for help with what is. Forgive me for confusing exhaustion with faithfulness. Thank You that You gave Moses a Jethro — and that You have placed people in my life who can see what I can't yet admit. In Jesus' name, Amen. They're the ones that got her out. What we explore:- How 80 to 90% of stress and trauma is stored in the body rather than verbal memory, and why that's the missing piece for most people who've already done the mental work.- Why the tight hips epidemic isn't a mobility problem - it's a psoas that never reset after your last stressful email.- What "functional freeze" looks like for high-performing adults who are crushing it all day and then collapsing the moment they stop.- How to know whether your chronic pain is structural or emotional - and the self-check you can do right now to start telling the difference.- Why high-intensity exercise can spike cortisol and backfire when your nervous system is already in survival mode, and how to sequence your training around your actual stress state.Chapters:00:00:00 What Somatic Movement Actually Is00:03:28 Little T Trauma: You Don't Need a Big Event to Be Carrying Something00:07:00 Signs Your Nervous System Is Dysregulated Right Now00:10:15 Why Nervous System Health Is the Next Frontier in Fitness00:19:31 Why 80% of Your Stress Lives in the Body, Not the Mind00:26:06 How to Tell the Difference Between Aging and Accumulated Tension00:36:23 Functional Freeze: The Hidden State Draining High Performers00:41:40 How to Know When Someone Has Actually Shifted00:56:32 How to Start: Time, Frequency, and What to Expect01:05:40 How Chronic Stress Disrupts Your Hormones and Health01:08:32 Why High-Intensity Exercise Can Make Things Worse When You're Stressed01:14:00 How to Build Stress Tolerance and Expand Your Capacity01:25:06 Somatics vs. Talk Therapy: What Each Does BestAbout Liz Tenuto:Liz Tenuto is a somatic instructor, Pilates teacher, and Feldenkrais-trained practitioner with over 15 years of hands-on coaching experience. Fatherhood has been one of the greatest gifts and blessings of my life. As I prepare to celebrate Father's Day this weekend and soon enter a brand-new season as an empty nester, I've been reflecting on the journey of raising three incredible kids over the last 23 years. The truth is, there's no playbook for being a parent. No manual. No perfect formula. You learn by diving in, showing up, making mistakes, and loving with your whole heart. In this heartfelt episode, I share the lessons, memories, and wisdom that have shaped me as a father—from those 4 a.m. newborn moments with Luke sleeping on my chest, to coaching my kids on the field, to preparing to watch all three of them spread their wings and chase their dreams. Whether you're a dad, mom, grandparent, coach, mentor, or simply someone who values family, this episode is a powerful reminder that the greatest impact we make often happens at home. In This Episode, You'll Learn: Why every season of parenting deserves to be appreciated and embraced. How becoming a parent deepens your purpose and changes your perspective forever. The power of creating meaningful experiences and memories with your family. Why the daily routines, values, and habits you instill matter more than any vacation or milestone. The bedtime affirmation that shaped the Durkin family culture for nearly two decades. How coaching your kids can strengthen your relationships and create unforgettable moments. Why volunteering, mentoring, and being involved in your children's activities matters so much. The life-changing lesson Todd learned from his father about the value of time. How "special time" with your kids can leave an imprint that lasts a lifetime. Why fathers and mothers play an irreplaceable role in shaping future generations. The emotions, excitement, and gratitude that come with entering the empty-nester chapter of life. A powerful reminder that time is our most precious commodity—and we can't afford to waste it. Fatherhood or parenting isn't about being perfect. It's about being present. It's about showing up day after day, creating experiences, building character, teaching values, and loving your kids through every season of life. As I look back on 23 years of being a Dad, what stands out most isn't the accomplishments, the awards, or the milestones—it's the moments. The conversations. The trips. The routines. The laughter. The lessons. The time. And as I prepare for this next chapter with all three of my children now pursuing their own dreams, I'm reminded that our role as parents isn't to keep our kids close forever—it's to help them grow wings and fly. Fr. Mike connects today's reading from Songs to the teachings of St. John Paul's Theology of the Body. He also points out how helpful it is to track the timelines of the kings of Israel and Judah as we read from Kings and Chronicles simultaneously. The readings are 1 Kings 15-16, 2 Chronicles 16-17, and Song of Solomon 4. For the complete reading plan, visit ascensionpress.com/bibleinayear.
