Finally, we got Bobby back on the show so we could get some info on his experience at the All-star game this year. Luckily, we didn't have any drama on the show, so Bobby didn't have to turn off his camera. TimberGraphs launched their new website and nobody seems to like Newark.Audio Only:
This episode is the first one hosted by Jason. We discussed the new Adidas jerseys and the wear we are seeing from some of them released into the hobby. Jason even discussed his experience of putting one on to feel the difference in the jerseys that the players feel.No live callers today, but we were ready to handle them amidst our slip-up intro.During our discussion on the state of the hobby, we had collectors discussion in the chat thread. Unfortunately one collector has a history of purposefully attempting to start trouble so we had to figure out how to remove that user from our page during the show. We don't like to be forced to do these actions but when people continue to attack others unprovoked from personal issues it becomes a distraction. We want to include everyone but actively pursuing removal will earn removal.Matt joined us and added some great banter and a new John Doe style name for us to use in the future, Joey BagOfDonuts. Our panel agreed that there are different ways to seek enjoyment from the hobby whether it be the chase, displaying, or talking about the significance of jerseys.Audio Only:
After a bit of a break, we were a bit rusty to get back into the swing of things. We can finally take callers over the phone one at a time which should allow some great interaction in the future. We discussed some things that happened over our break such as Classic Auctions ending, peeling numbers on NHL100 jerseys, Timbergraph creations, WCHL charity auctions and the NOVA expo that happened last weekend.Audio Only:
We discuss some topics that we saw throughout some of the groups involving the valuation of jerseys, economics in the hobby and the etiquette that surround these attributes. We introduce TimberGraphs which make wooden signatures of your favorite players that enhance your displays.Audio Only:
