STREAM PODCAST or right-click to SaveIn today episode, I reminisce on a group discussion I had with a couple of classmates and how one of the students wanted settle with an educational degree that had nothing to do with her overall goals and dreams. As you may know, I love to talk especially when I'm on a roll, so my intended 15 minute video turned out to extend over 20 minutes long. Also, I get to present the new set and the new microphone. Now the audio quality sounds a whole lot better, but there are a couple of tweaks that need to be made to get the audio quality near perfect quality that I'm looking for. It may not be noticeable, but it is something that I would like to see fixed as soon as possible. Finally, if you have not yet registered or subscribed to receive this podcast delivered to your reader, email, or MP3 or portable video player/device, be sure to visit http://www.helpmycashgrow.com/feed/ and subscribe today.Hope you all enjoy this episode.Leave your responses to this episode by either commenting to this post, emailing me @ tony@helpmycashgrow.com, or calling the Voice Line @ 206-984-3765.

STREAM PODCAST or right-click to SaveWelcome everyone as I present the very first official contest of HelpMyCashGrow.com. I’ll provide all the details right here in the show notes but, if you haven’t already, please feel free to take a look at the video announcement if you have the time. This month’s contest is going to be focused around a Discussion Question that I would like to see everyone participate, if possible. I ran into an excellent question that I hope to stir some excellent conversation and debate. The prize: A copy of the 2008 Edition of "The Neatest Little Guide To Stock Market Investing" by Jason Kelly. You can win it here or you can purchase your own copy by clicking the image above. Now before I present the question remember the winner will be chosen by their answer, the discussion, and the activeness of the reader. I would like to see what type of discussion we can surround ourselves with. Now for the discussion question. The Question: Since money has no intrinsic value. Why did we start developing a system and evolved around money? Was our government worried we would run out of gold as a resource? How important is the control our government has over the money supply?Contest will end and winners will be announced on May 14, 2008.Good luck to everyone, have fun and let’s see some great answers presented. My Odeo Channel (odeo/a834752a7ede20d1)

STREAM PODCAST or right-click to SaveWelcome to the very first “UNOFFICIAL” episode of the HelpMyCashGrow.com Video Blog & Podcast. In this episode, I elaborate on how this show is only a test and what accomplishments I hope to attain with this video. There are also other topics and announcements that will be touched upon throughout this episode so be sure to watch the video in its entirety. Also be sure to read the show notes as I touch up on “after-recording” notes that I probably didn’t get to mention through the show.Announcements: * Web Related Posts To Start Us Off * Contests in April * Podcast in Audio & Video.Topics: * This is only a test. * Upcoming Segments * Read The Show NotesFirst, the show turned out much longer than I expected but pretty good overall. I was aiming for 15-20 minutes; but I ended up talking for an hour and was able to edit out half of the video. One thing worth mentioning is that I speak from my mind and my heart, so there are absolutely no scripts; though I do have an outline to direct me on the direction of the video. Speaking from my mind may cause me to stumble on my words alot. As time goes on, I’ll should become more comfortable with public speaking. I’m not nervous when in front of the camera, but sometimes I do lose track of what I would like to say.Second, It took me three days to have this video ready for release. I’m such a perfectionist and I still see areas for improvement. But after all the work was done, I figured out ways to compress my time will at the same time maintaining the quality of the video. The hard part was figuring out what needed to be done, and I think the hardest part was finding a good compressing software when converting video for iPod. Funny thing is that I had the software all along!Third, the slogan mentioned at the end is not the TRUE definition of life wealth, but the true definition to financial wealth. Life wealth doesn’t require money to be rich spiritually, but financial wealth requires the discipline of money management. My point is spending money to purchase materialistic item is not the reasonable path to see your money grow. The practice of saving, through frugality and conservative investments, and etc. is the route we should all take. What I Forgot To Mention: * Audio Podcasts are directly extracted from the video versions. Some scenes will need to be seen visually to comprehend. * Entertainment segments, such as the music videos, are presented to take a break from listening to me talk about personal finance for 30 minutes straight.Links Mentioned Throughout This Post: * http://www.7dayfitness.comLeave your responses to this episode by either commenting to this post, emailing me @ tony@helpmycashgrow.com, or calling the Voice Line @ 206-984-3765.
