In our last episode we pick apart ‘ Sweet Eddie ‘ . We began recording the podcast by the banks of the mighty Gascoyne River in remote Western Australia and finished a month later backstage at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Boulder, Colorado - USA. We talk through the little vignettes in the song, discuss Cat Stevens, underage drinking, primitive projectile weapons and wrap up the whole ‘ Inside the Golden Magnetic’ series with perhaps another podcast….? Recorded a few hundred metres from a truck that turns into a stage for the Gascoyne In May festival ( there was an artist playing while we recorded that has spilt into the audio). We pull apart the song, talk about ball-pits (Ikea) the colour of the sky and Kanye West. This week we recorded our podcast sitting on a 100 year old wooden verandah near a town called Pinjarra in Western Australia were we were performing at Fairbridge Music Festival 2018. We finally getting around to interviewing a choir member and discuss Gary Mead’s tiling service, One take wonders and the concept of marinading.
