JOB - A Hope Building Narration

In this conclusion to our series on the Book of Job, the truth is declared about the greatness of God and our need to totally trust Him at all times; in order to always have hope, no matter what may come our way.

We hope this sermon helps your hope and trust - in God - to grow like never before. Like Job, who's hopelessness began to diminish as The Lord revealed His greatness to him, so our hope can increase as we consider our Almighty God Who is worthy of complete and total trust. Meditating on His infinite superiority helps us to see God's trustworthiness, thus making it easier to fully trust in Him which opens our hearts to genuine hope.

While some may think they have all the answers to questions about suffering, life has a way of proving otherwise. In this sermon is a strategy for handling those well meaning folks who might unfairly criticize you while you are hurting for any reason.

From the pages of the Book of Job, more truth is declared concerning how to help someone who is wrestling with hopelessness; as well as the need to realize that none of know it all. In this teaching, vital keys are shared to empower the hearer to get outside the routine ruts of life and to do something kind for those in need of encouragement.

While in the midst of hopelessness and despair, Job's friends made matters worse, by trying to make sense of it all, through blaming the poor guy for all of his troubles. In this talk, the hearer is challenged to help the hopeless and to not make things worse for them. The sermon concludes with a wonderful solo sung by George Huff, entitled, "Stand".
