Drew's story sounds less like a straight line and more like a lit fuse. Raised mostly in Utah, what started as early oxy use quickly escalated into heroin, methadone, benzos, and a life built around the chaos of selling drugs. But selling soon bled into something darker: robbing local heroin dealers at gunpoint, high-speed car chases, police raids, and eventually fleeing to California while living fully on the run.In California, the hustle only evolved. Pills moved online through Silk Road, bitcoin fortunes disappeared almost as fast as they came, ketamine entered the picture, and rapid detoxes became desperate attempts to outrun addiction without ever truly surrendering to recovery. Through all of it, Drew lived at full speed until a few serious injuries and and dark moments afterward finally forced him to confront what decades of chaos had cost him.Now sober since 2021, Drew has rebuilt his life from the ashes of addiction and violence. The tithe is giving 10% of your income, the product of Your work, to the Lord and His work. Contributions are anything beyond the 10%. This is often referred to as a gift, but it’s not a gift. It is His and that is why He uses the word 'rob' when we do not give those tithes and offerings. It is not robbing someone to not give them a gift. Robbing is when we take what is theirs. 100% of what we have is from God and belongs to God, and we give the tithe as evidence of our understanding of this. We are stewards of what He has given. A steward is a manager of the owner’s stuff for the owner’s purposes. Now with that as a background listen to Jesus. referring to the tithe, the 10%. And again, notice, Jesus says that it is His. Now when God calls for us not to rob Him, His goal is not getting money. His goal is blessing. January 23, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 83 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. We also go over the fact that the Steelers are seemingly now down to five final candidates for their head coach job, pending any other late interviews happening. Alex and I go over the situations and rules related to the Steelers possibly having any interest in any members on the staffs of the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos during this show. The Steelers signed another player to a Reserve/Future contract on Thursday, so we make sure to recap that transaction. Should a potential duo of Mike Shula as Steelers head coach and Nate Scheelhaase as offensive coordinator be a concern to fans when it comes to potentially having the latter of the two robbed from the team in the next years?
