Amos begins by indicting surrounding nations before turning to Israel—why might he structure his message this way, and how would that have impacted his original audience? How does God's rejection of Israel's worship in Amos 5 help us understand the relationship between justice and worship in the Old Testament? In today's episode, Director of Equipping, Chris Sherrod, talks with Watermark member, Cassidy Webber about Amos 1-5. The growth of the early church was a grass roots effort -- individuals shared their faith story to others, who then passed it along down the line. The Apostle Paul wrote many letters encouraging those missionaries to continue to do so, despite difficult times. His final letter to Timothy is a challenging reminder that the world still needs to hear about Christ, and it's our responsibility to faithfully hand that message to others like a runner passes along a baton. Join Horizon at the Equipping services for PASS IT ON, as we go verse by verse through 2 Timothy.

In this episode of "Raising Gender Confident Kids," hosts Wayne Stender and Dr. Kathy Koch continue their exploration of the book written by Dr. Kathy and Jeff Myers. They dive into the second cause of gender confusion: cultural counterfeits. Building on the previous discussion about spiritual lostness and identity amnesia, the conversation highlights the importance of understanding identity dysphoria and its impact on children today. With an emphasis on modeling lifelong learning for kids, Dr. Kathy encourages parents to engage with their children in meaningful discussions about faith and identity, reinforcing the idea that it's never too late or too early to seek the truth together. Tune in for valuable insights on navigating these critical issues in today's culture.

Today, we continue our teaching series as Pastor Nelson spoke on the topic: “Hypostasis: Truly God, Truly Man.”To confess the hypostatic union is to believe Jesus is truly God and truly man. The eternal Word did not merely appear as human—He became flesh while never ceasing to be divine. In Him are both natures perfectly united in one person. The incarnation was necessary: divine enough to save, human enough to die, revealing the Father and granting us life with Him. This is the mystery and glory of Christ—God with us.Be blessed as you listen to this sermon.

What happens when men refuse to step up? What's the cost when fathers walk away from their families, and leaders go silent in the fight? In this week's 10-minute equipping episode, Pastor Jim Ramos exposes the dark side of manhood when males settle for less than God's calling—and lays out the path to redemption. From fatherlessness to cultural collapse, Jim explains why men are the solution, not the problem, and calls you to rise, lead, and restore what's been broken.
