Lifted Crowns is a podcast bringing women together to celebrate the women in their lives that have been a support, inspiration and who have lifted their crowns so they can be the Queen's that they are.
I dont want to brag but I have the most amazing Mother in Law. We hear about the nightmare MILs all the time and I am so grateful that is not our experience. We have a strong loving honest relationship. Its not all rainbows and butterflies but the mutual respect we have for each other along with open communication allows us to get over our obstacles together.
We are changing things up in season two to get real on changes in friendships and unique relationships that exist in our lives. This episode explores a change in seasons in a friendship and how we navigated that change. Did we stop lifting each others crown or did we set it aside for a moment. Can friendships be brought back to life?
In this very special episode I get to chat with my oldest daughter, Brooklyn about her passion for volleyball, writing and Art and the girls/women in her life that lift her crown. It was so fun to hear how she describes her friends and the vision she has for her life at the age of 9. Its a blessing to be her Mom and I cant wait to see all that she becomes.
In this episode we continue expanding the Lifted Crowns Community with Michele's friend Annissa. We talk about her role as the "source of truth" for her friends, her current passions, her brave and honest battle with depression and of course the women in her life that support her throughout and lift her crown. If you are battling with depression and have thoughts of suicide please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 or The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention www.afsp.org for help.
In this episode we start expanding the Lifted Crowns Community with Michele's friend Crystal. This episode talks about why I decided to start Lifted Crowns Podcast and lays the foundation of the mission I have to change the conversation women have with each other and about each other. Today is the very first podcast for Lifted Crowns and I want to start with myself. My name is Tania Dilworth and I am Mom of 3 beautiful children, two girls and one boy. I have 3 sisters and wait for it 6 nieces! The feminine energy in my life is fierce and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Throughout my life, I received as many negative messages about women. Women are catty, competitive, dramatic. The world pits women against each other and many women fall right into it. But there is another message I want to make louder, women are inspiring, brilliant, supportive, generous, loving, kind, extraordinary and strong so so so strong. The women in my life are all of those things for me! I fell in love with this quote “Be the woman in the world that fixes another woman’s crown without telling the world about it” unknown author and its been ringing in my head ever since. AND obviously the inspiration for the name of this podcast, Lifted Crowns. I am going to interview the women in my life and learn about the women in their lives that do the same for them and so on and so on building a community of women and changing the conversation.
