McNeill Merlins

In this episode, we sit down with Principal Jordan to discuss our goals and vision for the 2024-2025 academic year. We also reflect on our back-to-school weeks and the tragic loss of a dear student. Throughout this challenging time, our community has shown incredible support and unity. It is now well over month into our 2022 school year, and for this episode of the podcast, we asked the two top students of our school, their parents, and the teachers about what needs to be practiced for their academic success.

This episode is a research-based discussion among two students (Aleiah J., Oladiran A.) about plastic. How it is being made, the good use we make out of plastic, and the problem that we are dealing with plastics. Our Back-To-School adventure of 2022 is officially in the book! We asked our students, teachers, and our new principal to talk about their experiences of having their first week of school.

THE STUDENTS HAVE TAKEN OVER OUR PODCAST!!! The show was entirely discussed among students (Aleiah J., Ava R., Oladiran A.) to discuss modern technology we use now and what technology would take over in the future. The intro part of the podcast was the 'CBS Morning News' about self-driving cars, and as they accelerate, experts weigh in on their status and just how long until they think it will be until autonomous automobiles take over.

Food is what we love to eat and to talk about, so we asked our fellow 4th grade Merlins (Ava A, Collin N, Jethra E) about healthy food vs junk food, their thoughts about ways to fight food shortage that are happening around the world and more.
