Il procedimento inizia "lavorando" il burro con lo zucchero fino a ottenere una crema chiara e spumosa. Si "uniscono" l'uovo, il tuorlo e la scorza di limone, "mescolando" energicamente. In una ciotola a parte si "setacciano" insieme farina, lievito, vanillina e sale, poi si "incorporano" gradualmente agli ingredienti cremosi, "impastando" fino a ottenere una pasta liscia e omogenea. L'impasto viene "avvolto" nella pellicola trasparente e fatto "riposare" in frigorifero per almeno 30 minuti.
