Nevada Recovery and Prevention (NRAP) is a collegiate recovery center open to all who are in recovery or living a sober lifestyle. We have listened to recovery stories of members of NRAP in the past, but what about those who are sober because they are choosing to be? Today, we asked Miesha Williams to share a bit of her story and experience being a member of NRAP.
There are a number of mutual aid support groups to assist in one's recovery. One pathway is through Recovery Dharma (https://recoverydharma.org/). In this episode, we sat with a local expert, Ian Mitchell, and asked him what to expect when going to a Recovery Dharma meeting.
