Dru Hepkins will be stopping by Reckless 2.0 today to discuss his various documentaries and blog posts concerning societal issues and controversies such as the Bill Cosby and Michael Jackson scandals. Dru Hepkins is a singer, song writer, musician and voice-over actor. He is also an activist and a popular writer/blogger with well over a million hits covering many controversial social issues. Dru Hepkins has currently amassed over 12 literary awards.On his political blogs, Dru won fans over with very insightful perspectives featuring rock solid reasoning and out-of-the-box thinking with predictions that were consistently correct. The brash fearlessness to say whatever he felt seemed at times deprecating, but very respected and understood when the message was extracted and the predictions proved true. Professor and author Jane Ward will be stopping by the program this evening to dialog about her recent book “Not Gay: Sex Between Straight White Males. Ms. Ward is a white female and Associate Professor and Vice Chair Department of Gender and Sexuality Studies LGBIT Studies Program Chair University of California, Riverside. Ward's published work has focused on a broad range of topics including feminist ography, queer parenting, transgender relationships, the corporatization of gay pride festivals, the race politics of same-sex marriage, and the social construction of heterosexuality and whiteness. Ward’s focus on white men primarily serves to circumvent racist discussions of “DL culture” and to shine a light on behavior she feels white guys could get away with without scrutiny as forbearers of the so-called norm. We look forward to a very intriguing and candid dialog on white anti-sexual behavior, as well as discuss her work on the LGBT movement and feminism. It should be quite a candid and revealing dialog. Professor Timothy Parrish stops by Reckless 2.0 to discuss recent acts of white terrorism.

Multicultral professor at Westfield State University and author of " What it Means to be to be White" , Robin DiAngelo will stopping by the program to discuss her anti-racist work. Ms. DiAngelo is a white female and holds a PHD from University of Washington where she teaches extensively on whiteness. We intend to have her explain exacty what it means to be "white", as well as examine her claims of white ignorance. As always , it's going to get Reckeless.
