We are all responsible for one another.
It’s been sometime but here we are. When someone ask, how are you? We are so quick to give a conditioned answer. I’m good, I’m fine, I’m okay, I’m well. But no, really how are you? Breath in and let it all out... I’m listening.
Enjoy the journey, stop and smell the roses, and don’t worry you’re exactly where you’re suppose to be.
The lies we tell ourselves and the lies we are told by others.
I should name this “as always” because of how many times I used those words. But HELLO!! I’m still HERE, still kicking! Thank you for sticking with me. You just listening means the world to me!
Don’t be so quick to write people off, maybe you’re just not in the same season.
Conversation with my sister Mahawa. I remember when we wouldn’t even step outside without our hair done. If my hair isn’t done the days canceled. Fast forward to now I see my hair as just that hair, not even mine. Just something that’s on my scalp. We must step back and think about what we are giving our energy to. Not only with hair but with everything. We as people must die from comparing and imposing our expectations and ideas on others on things. Beauty is not to be imposed, it’s to be created”.

If it is not true and not helpful don't say it If it is true but not helpful don't say it If it is not true but helpful don't say it If it is both true and helpful find the right time - What's Beyond mindfulness by Stephen Fulder
Book: The 7 habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey We are driven by many things, there can be many things at our center. Our center is unique to us, but in a way we are all connected. Our center should not be closed off to others or only revolve around us because we are all intertwined. It's more about finding that thing that grounds us. Identifying what we base our life our existence on. Besides identifying it and obsessing over it we should ensure that it's in harmony with correct principles and clear. I'm still working on this...
Some of us are constantly on the go, some are mentally as well as physically exhausted, and some of us just need some me time. Whatever the case maybe, we are never too busy to set some time for ourselves. Even if it's not a full day. Get in the habit of reflecting and reseting. Time to catch your breath and refocus on your center. It's not a chore or something you have to do but definitely will have an impact.

Everything should be done in moderations?! Social media is like being at the playground, you get to be out in the sun playing with other kids and toys. Your parent is there, socializing with the other parents or if you're old enough you walked to the playground by yourself. You can play as much and with whom ever you please, just remember to observe the unspoken playground rules. You can stay out as long as the sun's up, if the sun sets on you you have to go home because no one likes playing in the dark. I just made that up but you get the point. Don't let your social media run your life, use it as a fun tool. And remember don't let the sun set on you.
