On October 1, 2015, "So..." Stories of Life held a benefit in beautiful southern California for Rancho Coastal Humane Society, a wonderful animal welfare group which is among one of the most innovative in the nation. The event featured true stories about people and their pets based on the theme of “Who Rescued Whom?” It proved to be a lively evening of stories, live music and the great fun of being able to meet and hug some adorable rescued and adoptive pets. We're very grateful to our sponsors, San Diego Writers Ink, for getting the word out about this event. *We're still raising money for Rancho Coastal! Performance artist Erin Renee Roberts, AKA Terra Josephine describes love and life through spoken word and motion. Returning speaker Nick Drago shares another riveting story from his memoir "Use Once then Destroy." Recurring musical guest Matt McGaughey sings and plays some more wonderful original tunes. Teya King raises the tavern roof (and has the entire audience in hysterics) with her story about seeing aurora borealis for the first time.
