Join Me for the 12-Day Homeschool Mom Self-Care Challenge A homeschool mom self-care challenge that honours you. Homeschool mama, I see you. December is here, and it feels like an avalanche of ALL the things.Every month as a homeschool mom is full, but December? It's a whole new level. You're trying to finish things up, or you’re moving into a unit study on Christmas, you’re purchasing, prepping, planning, and playing—and you just added a part time-job to your full-time job. But as a homeschool mama, when December rolls around, mama ain’t looking after herself, she’s looking, after ALL the things. And though ALL the things are a whole lot of things EVERY other month, December’s ALL the things is an exponential set of things. Though you’re trying to do all the things, fulfill the expectations, and make it magical for your kids, you can’t do a little bit more if you didn’t already incorporate an approach to maintain margins and pursue purposeful living. That's why I'm inviting you to join me for the 12-Day Self-Care Challenge for Homeschool Moms. This isn't another TO DO list. It's a TO GIVE list—a way to give back to yourself. Join the 12 Day Self-Care Challenge Why Self-Care Matters As homeschool moms, we have a unique calling. We're deeply present with our kids, invested in their well-being, and working hard to create meaningful memories and learning experiences. We savor moments of: Watching our kids harmoniously play together (sometimes). Cheering them on as they tackle new challenges. Seeing their excitement as they pursue new interests. Building lifelong memories as a family. But there's another side to this season: The constant stream of emotions (theirs and ours). Sibling squabbles. Complaints and meltdowns. And, of course, the never-ending mundane tasks—laundry, dishes, meals, and errands. Even when we handle these challenges with grace, the emotional and mental investment is enormous. Add the holidays to the mix, and it's no wonder we feel stretched thin. The Secret Ingredient to a (more) Peaceful Holiday Season Here's the thing: you matter too. Your well-being is not just an afterthought—it's the foundation of a happy family life and a peaceful holiday season. Self-care: Refills your energy so you can approach the holidays with calm and joy. Models healthy balance and boundaries for your children. Helps you manage stress and let go of perfection. Strengthens your emotional resilience to handle challenges with patience and grace. Creates space for joy and presence, helping you savor the small, magical moments. When you care for yourself, you're giving your family the best gift of all—a peaceful, grounded, and joyful mama. What You'll Get in the 12-Day Challenge In just fifteen minutes a day—maybe even five—you'll explore simple, practical self-care strategies that fit into your busy December. These strategies aren't just for the holidays; they're tools to carry into the new year, helping you nurture yourself and your family with greater ease and satisfaction. By the end of these 12 days, you'll feel: More energized. More connected to yourself. And more at peace as you move through this beautiful, busy season. And so we must take care of ourselves. Join the 12 Days of Homeschool Mom Self-Care Challenge Join Me—You Deserve This So, homeschool mama, this is your invitation to take a breath, step back, and remember that you are worth nurturing. Let's do this together. This December, give yourself the gift of care, calm, and connection. Join the 12-Day Self-Care Challenge for Homeschool Moms and rediscover the joy of the season—not just for your family, but for you too. Just fifteen minutes a day. You've got this. Host Angel Santana invites listeners to release last month's burdens and embrace December as a fresh start of faith, purpose, and renewed confidence. Referencing Psalm 118:24, he reminds us we don't need perfection—only willingness—and encourages taking one step forward because God has already gone ahead.

In this very special episode of Celebrate Your Story, I sit down with someone many of you know well: former NBA All-Star and legendary rebounder Jayson Williams. After a brilliant career cut short by injuries, Jayson went through some very dark years — addiction, public struggle, and eventually incarceration. But he refused to let his past define him. Instead, he chose gratitude, accountability, and the hard work of rebuilding. In doing so, he's helping others rebuild their lives too. Jayson walks me through the journey that led him to create REBOUND, a program grounded in outdoor adventure and spiritual grounding for adults in recovery and returning from incarceration. From paddleboarding to skydiving, REBOUND gives its participants confidence, connection, and a sense of possibility. He also shares his newest effort, REBOUND on the Road, an eight-week truck-driving program in Nassau County that helps people earn commercial licenses and take their first steps toward meaningful careers. This is a story about resilience and the power of lifting others as you rise. I hope you'll tune in to hear Jayson's extraordinary second act and the impact he's making every day.
Justin Bieber BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Justin Bieber has had quite the eventful past few days, with developments ranging from fashion ventures to health setbacks and reputation management efforts. The 31-year-old singer made a notable public appearance at Game Three of the 2025 World Series at Dodger Stadium on October 28th, where he debuted a completely clean-shaven face, marking what many are calling a fresh start for the Canadian pop star. He attended the game wearing a Toronto Blue Jays jersey, enthusiastically cheering for his home team alongside his wife, Hailey. On the business front, Bieber has been actively involved with his new fashion brand SKYLRK, which launched in July. According to recent interviews, Hailey has been collaborating with him on design elements, including leather jackets and accessories inspired by her own successful Rhode skincare brand. The couple has been balancing their professional endeavors while raising their 15-month-old son, Jack Blues, who was born in August 2024. Hailey's Rhode brand itself made headlines when E.L.F. Beauty acquired it for one billion dollars in May, with Hailey taking on roles as chief creative officer and head of innovation. However, Bieber's recent days haven't been without complications. On November 16th, the singer suffered an injury while riding an electric skateboard, hurting his ribs in what he described during a Twitch livestream on November 13th as a "gnarly" fall from his Onewheel. He told friends and bandmates that the injury is causing significant pain, even when singing and laughing, potentially impacting his rehearsals for his upcoming Coachella performance scheduled for April 2026.Speaking of Coachella, Bieber announced he'll be headlining the festival alongside Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G, with reports suggesting he'll earn approximately ten million dollars for the performance. To prepare, he's been streaming regularly on Twitch, promising daily content as he gears up for the show.Behind the scenes, industry sources report that Bieber is working with Adele's publicist, Benny Tarantini, in what's being characterized as a reputation rescue operation ahead of his major festival performance. This partnership comes as the singer works to rebuild his brand following years of public scrutiny and cancelled performances.Additionally, Bieber recently announced on November 13th that he's no longer part of his Drew House fashion brand, stating it no longer reflects him or his family, signaling a complete pivot away from that venture.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

In this episode, I'm breaking down one of the most common patterns I see in female entrepreneurs, the weekly reset, the new plan, the fresh strategy, the “I'll start again on Monday” energy that feels productive but quietly keeps you looping in the same place.Subconscious Prompts: What feels unsafe about doing it today? What part of me doesn't feel ready yet? What identity am I still loyal to?What am I postponing that I could embody right now? What would the next level version of me do today, not Monday? If the future version of me was leading this week, what would she prioritise first? How does my future self hold herself on the days where capacity is low? What does my business look like when I'm consistently leading from the identity I'm becoming? If I fully trusted where I'm going, what would I stop negotiating with myself about? What does the “Monday reset” version of me do and what does the future version of me do instead? When I imagine the woman I'm becoming, what feels obvious to her that still feels difficult to me now? What would it feel like to move through today as if the identity shift has already happened? What becomes available to me when I start acting from the future self I keep postponing?Connect with Rebecca Haydon:Apply to work with meThe Subconscious MembershipCome say hi on Instagram | Facebook | YouTubeFind the full show notes & more resources at www.rebeccahaydon.com/podcast/

We find out whether new rules could allow it to move away distance itself from previous accusations of "greenwashing" and fraud? There have been previous false starts for a system which in theory allows for companies and countries to offset their carbon emissions by paying for projects which reduce or mitigate emissions elsewhere. But new UN legislation - which has been a decade in the making – now clarified and ready for use those in the sector hope that the next few years will prove fruitful for the industry. However, questions remain about whether overall the system will help to reduce global emissions. Produced and presented by Hannah Bewley(Image: Renwick Drysdale, managing director of akre)
✨ Free 4-week workshop for parents of teens and young adults: Stop Enabling & Start Supporting — Your Young Adult in 2026.Hosted by Not Therapy (former “troubled teens” turned coaches who've supported 70+ teens/YAs) and parent coach Beth Hillman.Register for free → https://form.typeform.com/to/CR6KyeKYSo much work happens during treatment, but the real test begins when your child comes home. The patterns that once kept your family stuck can easily reappear unless you intentionally create space for something new. This week, we talk about how to allow a fresh start after treatment and rebuild trust in a way that supports lasting independence and connection.I'm joined again by Colin MacDonald, co-founder of Not Therapy Coaching and a former struggling teen himself. Colin now mentors young people in the transition from treatment back to real life, helping them find structure, accountability, and confidence. Together, we explore why fear-based parenting, like constantly checking your teen's location or replaying old narratives, can unintentionally keep everyone trapped in the past, and how to shift toward calm, evidence-based trust instead.Colin shares what he's learned from supporting more than 70 families through this critical transition, including why home contracts rarely last more than a week, how autonomy helps prevent deception, and the power of pairing increasing freedom with increasing responsibility. We also talk about why post-treatment anxiety often peaks for both teens and parents, and how setting short-term goals and realistic expectations can help your family stay grounded. You may still see your kid as the troubled teen they were before, but there's no doubt that treatment has changed them. They deserve a fresh start, and so do you.In this episode on allowing a fresh start after treatment, we discuss:Why rebuilding trust means focusing on progress, not perfection; How to trade surveillance for structure and clear communication; The difference between enabling and empowering independence; What to do when your teen slips up or tests boundaries; How mentors and coaches can help your family rebuild trust and balance; And more!More about Colin MacDonaldColin is a "former troubled teen" who spent his last two years of high school in wilderness and therapeutic boarding school. Based on his experience, he co-founded Not Therapy to provide peer-to-peer coaching for teens and young adults who feel like therapy hasn't been the right fit or who are transitioning out of therapeutic programs back into the real world. As a young person who has been in his clients' shoes, Colin's approach is rooted in personal expertise.Learn more about Not Therapy on their website or blog, or connect with them on LinkedIn.Looking for support?

She opens up about navigating high school among mostly able-bodied peers, finding friends who lead with respect, and attending MDA camp where perspective deepened into gratitude. We talk candidly about ramps and elevators, yes, but also about the less visible layers of access: seating layouts, syllabus flexibility, communication with professors, and the social cues that make classrooms feel human. Her plan to start at UIC and possibly transfer to UIUC illuminates the real calculus many students with disabilities face—community versus proximity, services versus cost, growth versus comfort.Family runs through this conversation like steel cable. A sister who turns visibility into pride, a mom who scouts tools and options, and a veteran dad whose philosophy is simple and strong: you can do hard things, differently.Samantha's message is one to carry: you're not alone, it might be harder, and you are more than what meets the eye.Press play for a grounded, hopeful take on college accessibility, disability advocacy, and resilience you can use. If this resonated, follow the show, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs proof that independence has many paths—and all of them start with your voice.
Just as a caterpillar is not meant to remain a caterpillar, we are not meant to stay where we are today. When we are willing to die to ourselves, we will be transformed into the kind of being who truly understands God and delights in His ways.

In this unfiltered and unexpectedly heartfelt episode of OnlyLands, a menagerie of Badlands Media hosts come together to unpack the week's chaos, controversy, and camaraderie. What begins as a loose conversation about the recent on-air drama quickly turns into a raw exploration of loyalty, friendship, and truth in independent media. The crew reflects on how Badlands weathered internal storms, cleared the air, and found renewed focus on what matters, building community and creating great content. Between laughs, honesty, and a few well-aimed jabs, the hosts prove that transparency and humility are the lifeblood of the Badlands family. It's unscripted, genuine, and a reminder that even in the wildest weeks, Badlanders don't just survive, they adapt and keep creating.

If your closets are organized but your brain feels like the junk drawer, this episode is for you. October is here — which means pumpkins, costumes, candy corn, and… mental clutter. Before the holiday rush even begins, most of us are already overwhelmed by the to-dos swirling in our heads. From buying candy for trick-or-treaters to planning holiday travel, our minds can feel just as cluttered as our countertops. The American Psychological Association reports that 70% of adults feel stressed about the holidays before they even begin. Add in the fact that we make 35,000 decisions a day, and it's no wonder we're exhausted before dinner. But here's the good news: you don't have to carry it all. Clearing mental clutter is possible, and today I'm walking you through how to do it — Fresh Start Method® style. In this episode, you'll learn: Why “decision fatigue” is real and how to recognize it. The surprising number of pounds of candy corn made every year (hint: it's in the millions!). Relatable client stories about late-night worry spirals and brain overload. What other voices — from Gretchen Rubin to The Minimalists to Martha Stewart — say about order, clutter, and peace of mind. My 5-step Fresh Start approach to clearing mental clutter before the holidays: brain dump, sort and prioritize, create non-negotiables, let go of perfection, and build small systems that stick. Powerful quotes and questions to help you stop chasing “perfect” and start choosing peace. By the end of this episode, you'll not only have permission to let go of what doesn't serve you — you'll also have practical steps to clear your head and actually enjoy the season ahead. ✨ Don't forget: The October Challenge Calendar is still available! Geek Church in a Bar, Fresh Starts, and the Inaugural Fayetteville Fan Fest. Hector reflects on his very brief time at the newly minted Fayetteville Fan Fest.
Tobin kicks off the show by declaring it a brand new day—choosing to forget the weekend's Miami sports heartbreaks and move forward with fresh vibes. The crew recaps last night's sports slate, but quickly gets derailed when listeners prematurely flood the phone lines for Heat ticket giveaways, sparking an impromptu bit. Leroy challenges Tobin on whether the Miami Heat are really more than a Play-In team, and while Tobin believes, only time will tell. Mike McDaniel gets fiery when asked about Tua's status for the week, and the crew dives into another unhinged edition of “Damage is Done,” featuring everything from Dolphins takes to submerged vehicles and European adventures. Things get even weirder as Leroy starts brushing his teeth live on camera, prompting disgust and disbelief. The return of NBA on NBC has everyone hyped, but a heated debate breaks out when Leroy claims he'd be an elite deli manager at Publix—something no one else on the show is buying. Tobin opens his mixed bag with a Mariner scream, Spo goosies, and a bold claim that Bam won't finish the season with the Heat. Finally, David “The Hockey Hornet” Dwork joins to talk Panthers' recent struggles and urges fans to stay patient, but even he gets dragged into the ongoing deli drama that Leroy just can't let go of.

Being generous is often associated with greater overall health and life satisfaction. People who share their wealth tend to be happier, more fulfilled, and enjoy better relationships. In contrast, those who hold back may experience increased stress, anxiety, and a sense of isolation from genuine community. So, why is being generous so challenging? In this sermon, we explore Jesus' teachings on money to better understand the barriers that make it difficult for us to give.

Kevin Franke says redemption is real. He just announced he's engaged to a new partner, just six months after finalizing his divorce from Ruby Franke — the former “8 Passengers” mommy blogger now serving a possible 30-year sentence for aggravated child abuse. In this episode of Hidden Killers, we're digging into what this “fresh start” really means — not just for Kevin, but for the children who lived under a camera, inside a home built on discipline, doctrine, and denial. Kevin was never charged in Ruby's criminal case. The two had separated before her arrest in 2023. But he was there for the rise of the YouTube family empire — a channel that broadcast strict, often disturbing parenting choices as content. And while Ruby ultimately took the fall with her counselor-turned-co-conspirator Jodi Hildebrandt, Kevin's role in normalizing the platform is still under scrutiny. Now, he's trying to course-correct. He supported Utah's new “child influencer” law — requiring that kids in monetized content receive protected earnings and the right to have their footage pulled as adults. His testimony was powerful. But does it erase the years he spent behind the camera? This segment unpacks the psychology of quick re-partnering after trauma, the legal line between enabling and accountability, and why moving on isn't the same as making it right. We examine the public push for “redemption,” and ask the hard question: is this genuine healing — or a quiet rebranding campaign? It's not about punishing a man for starting over. It's about asking what real accountability looks like when the kids didn't get a choice. #KevinFranke #RubyFranke #8Passengers #TrueCrime #ChildAbuseAwareness #YouTubeFamily #HiddenKillers #FamilyVloggers #PsychologicalAbuse #ParentalAccountability #RedemptionArc #SocialMediaLaw Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? People can be our biggest tiggers. Opposing views and perspectives on issues that are dear to us feel dangerous. Symptoms flare when we repress our feelings to keep the peace. But the alternative—conflict—feels unsafe too. How do we walk that tightrope, honoring our need for authenticity and belonging? Differing ideas & opinions are everywhere — family, friends, online. We have two default options: Repress/avoid → peace outside, conflict inside → symptoms. Explode/confront → release inside, rupture outside → unsafe. The “tightrope”: How do we balance our need for both authenticity and belonging? Let's discuss it all! XO n. FOR SEPTEMBER ONLY! All courses and recordings on the site are 25% off!
