Rev Annie Chambers is back! Former co-host with Ian on the Truth Radio Show, Rev Chambers joins us for the first time in our second season. She's a minister, former Black Panther, Socialist and HUD RAB Delegate for her public housing project in Baltimore City. She's been on the ground in Baltimore fighting everyday to get essential supplies to the residents of her public housing community. Yet Baltimore City Government continues to fight her. Even though she's clearly providing essential and life saving supplies to the community who have no other place to turn. Join us for this can't miss episode!

For the third episode of our second season we talk with Community Organizer Brandon Walker about what it's like to do community organizing in poverty, public housing and the inner city of Baltimore. We dive into how race and class effect everything from how the government sees us to what it means to be an "essential worker" in these revolutionary times. And Brandon gives us a first hand experience of what it's like helping feed communities like those in public housing or the homeless whom the capitalist government of Baltimore usually ignores and lets starve during good times.

In our second episode Marxist Leninist extraordinaire Peter Louis join us as our first guest of the season. We compare China's economic system and coronavirus response to the USA's capitalist economic system and the US response. We talk Trump, Democrats, Cuomo, Republicans, Socialism, Capitalism and more! Will we see the light here in the USA as move permanently to a socialist economy in the wake of COVID 19? Or will we rush to reopen to Capitalist economy and keep getting hit in the face by crises after crises here in the US?

For this season new season we've got some exciting changes. We've got a new logo and a new name, the Ian Schlakman Show. Rev Annie Chambers and all our old guests still join us weekly but look out for some new guests starting next episode. And we now record most of the shows LIVE. This show is now my first ever live episode. I go over some basic concepts about capitalism vs socialism vs post scarcity economic systems. We talk a little bit about the system of capitalism and does it do enough to value human life and the things we all need to live. Would another type of economic system better prepare or work for us during this pandemic? We also talk about the type socialist and revolutionary guests and commentary we'll have on future episodes.

Campaign Manager, Rev Annie Chambers, and Campaign Social Media Strategist, Brandon Walker, discuss the importance of having a Black Caucus particularly in the Green Party. At the Maryland Green Party Annual Meeting some in party leadership openly stated that the Green Party shouldn't have a Black Caucus while and bemoaned the existing Black Caucus leadership. Ian Schlakman was asked to share his thoughts on radical left electoral work to the Baltimore DSA (Democratic Socialist of America). He shares a bit of insight into his campaign and the previous electoral work he's done for the DSA National Electoral Committee, DSA Baltimore Local Electoral Committee, The Green Party and the Democratic Party.

In this episode we wound up spending the entire time talking about the corruption of the Baltimore City Police Dept. Considering the news we thought it was a good special episode to simply stand on its own. I hope you enjoy it.
