After a disastrous time at the News Festival, the Head-to-Head Crew is left with a lot to talk through, especially between Cleo and Zayn. ...However, it's Ezra's birthday, and so they have to play a game of Dungeons and Dragons first.

It's time; the Northeastern Collegiate News Festival has arrived! Eager to prove themselves, Head-to-Head News has been anticipating this event for the entire semester. Will Head-to-Head News prevail? Or will certain untold secrets and more be their undoing?

The time has finally come for the Head-to-Head News crew to compete in the Northeastern Collegiate News Festival... but they have to get there first! And when Cyrus, the leader of Head-to-Head's rivals, the On Your Feet News team, challenges Iris to a race, the journey to the festival becomes a lot more complicated. Especially when the loser has to give up one of their crewmembers for the entirety of the festival...

For the past few weeks, resident cameraman and flirty guy Cian Hunt has been talking to a specific girl... who won't meet him in person. When Ashlyn and Ezra hear of this, they're ready to believe this girl isn't real. Meanwhile, the rest of the Head-to-Head News crew attends the Headford Mayoral Election Debate... which does not go well.

It's a normal day in the News Room until cameraman Cian Hunt randomly receives a searing pain from a tattoo on his arm that he's never seen before. When Mr. Frankie tells the others that the tattoo is a sign from his old cult, the news crew is thrust into a mystical adventure to find the secret treasure that the cult protected: the Virgin of the Last Light.

Cleo Jackson has been in a funk for weeks now after confessing to her crush, Zayn Foster, that she liked him, before he revealed that he is gay. In this special, musical-themed episode of the News Room, those feelings come to a head during a special holiday in Connecticut centered around Beavers and Beer. Can Cleo manage to get herself out of her own head? What's to become of her and Zayn?

Zayn struggles to find new hobbies after realizing that his life mostly revolves around his work at Head-to-Head News. Meanwhile, the mayoral election circuit in Headford has just begun, and Head-to-Head News team gets to meet some... interesting candidates.

It's Valentine's Day, and the Head-to-Head News team's resident cameraman and playboy Cian Hunt has throws a massive party for the occasion. Meanwhile, Zayn struggles to get used to his new boyfriend's odd sense of enthusiasm. 

Iris sets up at Market Wednesday to sell some old books and her laptop, but she isn't quite ready to let go of the memories her laptop contains. Meanwhile, Cleo has to get used to working with Zayn again during a field interview.

It's the start of a new semester at Headford University! But, not everyone's feeling cheery. After a rough winter break, Cleo Jackson finds herself in an existential crisis. Can a concert lead by a mysterious man named Night Water help her get through her crisis?

Headford University's winter formal dance is here, and Cleo has only one thing on her mind: getting Zayn to dance with her, so she can finally confess her feelings for him. Meanwhile, as Cleo is trying to sort out one date, Cian is sorting out seven. Will Cleo and Zayn finally get together? Will Cian's seven dates somehow not turn out to be a disaster? The answers to these questions and more lie within, in the season finale of the News Room!

It's Black Friday in Headford, so Cleo and Iris take the day off to take advantage of the holiday deals, searching for a certain item in particular. Meanwhile, Mr. Frankie decides to show the boys something from the old cult he used to be in. 

Iris Jones, though not typically the dating type, decides to go out with an eccentric film major named Tobias... who takes her to an college amateur poetry night.

After an interview with the Headford University President goes haywire, Head-to-Head News finds themselves being pressured against airing the interview... but Zayn thinks it's important to air it anyways, causing a rift within the team. Will they air the interview? 

It's Halloween at Headford University, and the Head-to-Head crew has nothing but fun planned for the night. But, when Zayn suddenly goes missing, their fun night turns into a desperate search for their lost anchor. Will they find Zayn before the night is over? 

In an attempt to promote a fundraising drive for Head-to-Head News, their studio is burnt to the ground. Will the news crew be able to overcome this trial? Or will this be what kills Head-to-Head News?

It's time for the biggest game of the year: the annual squash tournament between the Headford University Sperm Whales and their long-time rivals, the Footford University Squids. And when the Head-to-Head News team goes to report on the game, they find out that they might have rivals as well! Can Head-to-Head News triumph over their rivals in the On Your Feet News team? Or will they get squashed by the competition?

Something is amiss in the newsroom, when Ezra, the quiet, mysterious tech guy for Head-to-Head News starts pulling nasty pranks on the other crewmembers! Can they figure out what is wrong with Ezra and straighten things out? Or is the show destined to be in darkness forever?

Head-to-Head News' resident cameraman Cian Hunt starts a prank war in the news studio, and everyone gets caught up in it. 

After an onslaught of low ratings, Head-to-Head News is desperate to find some way to get more views. Can a last-chance interview with the school's mascot Spermie the Sperm Whale save the show?

It's everyone's first day on the job at Head-to-Head News, but after an initial run it's clear they aren't used to working as a team yet. Can a round of icebreaking games help the Head-to-Head News team feel more connected with each other? Or will the games only lead to more tension between the crew?

Auditions for the Headford University's brand-new Head-to-Head News team are underway! The show's director Iris Jones works alongside cameraman Cian Hunt and first anchor Zayn Foster to find a potential second anchor, but not everyone is going to be a winner... or even remotely qualified. Meanwhile, Cleo Jackson, a potential candidate for the part, seems to be having trouble making it to the auditions.
