On February 13th, 1995, thousands of fans flooded into the Target Center for what was advertised as Dollar Hamm's Night, in a last second promotional attempt to pack the arena and boost the dwindling attendance numbers of the struggling Minnesota Timberwolves basketball team. What started as just another innocent night of watching a sorry excuse for professional basketball ended in gunfire, looting, hundreds wounded, and dozens dead.
