Jeremy Pope is one of Athlete Institute's newest coaches. Jeremy is a Lead Skills Coach with Academy and Head Coach of Athlete Institute Red. Jeremy played NAIA division 1 basketball at Biola University in southern California. Before coming to the Athlete Institute Jeremy was a Grad Assistant Coach for the University of Washington Men's Basketball team and coached with the AAU program LA Rockfish. On Episode 05, Jeremy talks about his upbringing in Compton California, working and coaching at the University of Washington, experience playing college basketball, and much more.
Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe is a 6'7" small forward in the class of 2020, who plays high school basketball for Orangeville Prep at the Athlete Institute Basketball Academy. Dylan Ennis is a professional basketball player from Brampton, Ontario. Dylan is currently signed with MoraBanc Andorra, playing in the ACB, the top professional division of the Spanish basketball league system. Dylan played NCAA Division I basketball at Rice, Villanova and finally Oregon. Dylan talks about some crazy stories playing high school basketball in New York and how he persevered through several serious injuries, culminating in a run with Oregon to the Final Four in 2017.
Jesse Tipping is an entrepreneur and the owner of Athlete Institute and Pretty River Sports & Entertainment. Jesse Tipping founded the Athlete Institute High School Basketball Academy in 2012. Since that time Athlete Institute and Orangeville Prep has produced over 60 players that went on to play post-secondary basketball, including 27 NCAA Division I scholarships. AI currently has two players currently in the NBA; Jamal Murray and Thon Maker, and several future NBA prospects.
