OH the phrase: "to say the least." To some, an unassuming pairing of words. To me, a sarcastic way to sum up a humorous, often uncomfortable and sometimes serious story. From the small things that feel like the end of the world, to the big things that we try to downplay, this podcast has you covered. My go-to method of processing hardship is finding the funny or light hearted side to help deal with it. Here on "To Say The Least" we will find ways to cope with it all, together. You've got a friend in me...right?

Friends forever...isn't that what they say? Despite our best efforts, that is not always the case, but with some friendships it can sometimes be what best for you. In this week's episode we are diving DEEP into what makes a "good" friend, and how our friendships evolve overtime with the variability of life. To say the least (pun intended) it is quite a monster of a topic to fit under an hour, but your host had a lot of fun doing it. Like what you hear and want to share your own story? It's giving bread crumbing and I need a baguette

"Bread crumbing": modern dating term meaning being strung along when someone consistently checks in with romantic interest, dangling the possibility of a date and keeps them interested but never follows through with an actual date/relationship. This week, Roya talks about being bread crumbed herself and deciding that we all deserve a full on baguette. We also discuss the troubles of apartment hunting and the concept of "everything working out", just not in ways we anticipate. MATCH. THEIR. ENERGY!! Today's episode might be one of my favorites so far. We have our first live interview with my roommate Vanessa to discuss a similar experience we had in our dating lives, the assumptions made about us (including the ones we made) and how ego can come into play. Matching the energy of whoever you interact with will help protect your own feelings along the way. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/roya-forooghi/message
