In part 2 of my story I will walk you through the next steps of what my life looked like to tangibly follow Jesus. Going from being saved to being sanctified and what the great commission meant for me.  

This weeks story is of two men who journeyed through different places in life and then weaved together to form a friendship built on accountability, authenticity and healing. Hear from Scott Fortenberry and James Wells as they share how the Lord is building them up to serve together in Jackson with Soul City Church.

This week I’m excited to introduce you to Kemberly Cook and her story.   Kemberly was born and raised in North Mississippi and at the age of 16 set out on a path that led to years of hurt and grief.   One night as she was “working for the devil” as she says, Jesus appears to her through a group of women that brought light into the darkness, and her life transformed into a beautiful picture of redemption.
