Eric LeGrand is a sports broadcaster, motivational speaker, author, and one of the strongest people I know. As a standout high school football star, Eric suffered a severe spinal injury while playing and was paralyzed from the neck down. That didn’t stop him though! After his injury, Eric was offered the final spot on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster and signed his official NFL contract. Our whiskey word of the day is ABV, also known as “alcohol by volume”. ABV is the standard measure of how much alcohol, or ethanol, is contained in a given volume of a whiskey or a spirit. And then there’s the term “proof”. Proof is defined as twice the alcohol (ethanol) content by volume.
