Then, Theatre Philadelphia’s Executive Director Leigh Goldenberg stops by to give the scoop on Philly Theater Week 2019 - a 10 day festival from February 7th through 17th with the goal of showcasing the growing, vibrant and diverse theatre scene in the tri-state region. One the course of 10 days, 81 organizations will host 100 events and 315+ performances - all specially priced at three very accessible levels of free, $15 or $30. For the last segment of this episode, Kristen speaks with a good friend - Bryce Remsburg, who also happens to be a well known Chikara Pro Wrestling referee. Chikara will be celebrating National Pro Wrestling Day on Sunday, February 10th at 2pm by putting on a charity match at the Tellus360 in Lancaster, PA. The 7th annual National Pro Wrestling Day Celebration comes to Lancaster for the first time ever to celebrate the positive power of pro wrestling and support Lancaster's own Arch Street Center. Arch Street Center’s continuing mission is to support the recovery of adults living with serious mental illness by providing social, moral and material support, recreational and hygiene facilities and fresh, nutritious meals in a safe, nurturing environment. They currently have around 300 members and serve approximately 45 individuals daily, or nearly 16,500 meals annually. Admission to this super cool wrestling event is free, however a $10 minimum donation is suggested. ALL proceeds go directly to the Arch Street Center. In the first year, a small event was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Army of Darkness. The Zombcast opened up the event with a LIVE actual play game of The Bite and the screening of Army of Darkness was followed by a quick discussion on Everything is Awesome. Plans are currently underway for a 2019 NecronomiCON.
