This week on N2M I talk with JP Parker about the life, times and trials of a Tour Manager. With 25 years of international touring experience, 5 gold records and 2 Grammy Awards, Jonathan JP Parker has had a thriving career in the music business. Working with such bands as Wilco, The Fray, Liz Phair and Brandi Carlile just to name a few, he has enjoyed success in both the studio and on the road. Currently JP enjoys raising his family, leading worship and producing Christian music and voice overs at his recording studio 7 Spin Music nestled quietly in the suburbs of Chicago. So sit back, buckle up and adjust the rearview you are listening to Nashville to Memphis.

In the final instalment of this two part series on the Great Crypto Divide we chat again with Lien Truong of Huobi Australia, and Lucas Cullen: blockchain developer and CTO of Civic Ledger, about the Great Crypto Divide between Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Lightning Network, BSV, Bitcoin ABC and the wars within the crypto community. Lien explains the history of Bitcoin Cash and the subsequent forks leading to SV and ABC while Lucas explains the necessary need for adoption and the fact that the banks are likely laughing at the squabbling crypto community. Both Lien and Lucas agree that whoever will win the great scaling race will need to take a crack at some pretty good marketing if they want to succeed. We also chat with our first-ever guest on the Clothesline, JP Parker, about how to solve the issues within the community. JP discusses with Abheeti the messages from Joshua Vial, founder of Enspiral who talks about 'Escalating the Bandwidth' in order to solve conflict. We also hear from Hayden Otto, voice of Bitcoin Cash in Australia and Executive Editor of CoinSpice, where he emphasises the importance not wasting time on changing people's minds but rather focusing on crypto adoption. This episode is an attempt to shed some light on the ever increasing divide within the crypto community and to perhaps offer some tips on how to resolve the drama. This week we head back in time to the greatest fun we have had together at the BlockConscious Summit 2018, in Brisbane. Here we were blessed to have seen over 50 speakers during the course of three days. We enjoyed amazing after-parties and rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest names in the industry BUT the best part was the Clothesline Couch hidden away at the conference centre. Our little lounge room was walled with banners and softened with a coffee table and magazines: just like home. In this episode, we welcome some of the women of the conference (not all could be there) to join us on the lounge and chat about their experiences and share with us a little about cryptocurrency and blockchain. It was an absolute honour to sit with these women and we extend our gratitude to them for being who they are, doing what they do and sharing their time with us. Links to each in the blog.

JP Parker: Technology Evangelist on Crypto Clothesline

One of the most interesting women in Blockchain… Listening to JP gives the listener the impression there’s nothing about technology that can’t be explained in gentle yet straightforward terms which make simple sense! Her velvet voice gives a sense that she really is the "technology evangelist" she’s famed to be. Talking with her is a spiritual experience: she guides you through the unfolding wonders of modern technology, and you get a sense that all is actually well in the world… Around when the web was unfolding in the last technical revolution, JP was part of the early crew setting out the ‘plumbing’. The world really does need to listen to a woman spearheading two revolutions in one lifetime.
