This week on the pod I am joined by Michael Friedberg! Michael is a dad to one, former US Ski Team Member & World Cup athlete, and an incredibly good human. Michael and I talk a lot about the respect, admiration and love we have for our dads on this pod, about his journey as a dad, and about the recent Marshall fire in Boulder, Co. Michael, his wife Rachel, and their daughter Darwin lost their home and all their belongings in the recent fire and as unimaginably challenging as that is, they have been wrapped in love and support by family, friends, and the Boulder community. Even though it is a story full of sadness, it is also one full of beauty, hope and kindness-something that feels to be missing in so much of the dialogue in today's society. If you would like to contribute to the GoFundMe discussed in the episode to support the Friedberg family; the link is in our show notes.
