Let me tell you something about Mean Girls (2004). It was an iconic movie for us in middle school. I know, right? So embarrassing. I don't even... whatever. So then in eighth grade, I saw my first PG-13 movie, and the quotes permeated my sense of humor growing up. And now I guess Kate Harlow from Subverted Tropes is here to let us quote this movie into oblivion! We discuss cliques, questionable fashion choices, PG-13 ratings, and how formative this comedy is for most Millennials. Listen to Subverted Tropes wherever you get your favorite podcasts! This is the story of a co-host who lost out on 2000s pop culture and the podcast that had no choice but to produce trash content always. Daniel Spencer from Subverted Tropes joins Janine to discuss Arrested Development in anticipation of its 5th season being released later this month. We discuss our favorite gags, the unique nature of this smart comedy, and our hopes for the future. Find Subverted Tropes at https://subvertedtropescast.podbean.com !
