This week we tackle the never ending case of discussion of the JFKassassination.  We cover the Oliver Stone film JFK, talk about the different conspiracies out there, and some of the evidence related to them. Two major movies were released based on the Clutter Family murders.  This week we take a look at both "In Cold Blood" (1967), and "Capote" (2005).  The former focuses on the "actual events" of the crime, arrest, interrogation, and executions.  The latter pays more attention to how the book and film "In Cold Blood" came to be.  

We are doing things a little differently this week.  This week we talk about just the history of the 2 movies In Cold Blood, and Capote and stay tuned for next week as we talk about the movies and how they hold up to the actual events.

Welcome back.  We apologize for being off last week, but we had some technical difficulties which we have hopefully worked out.  This week we talk about the DC/Beltway sniper case.  This happened just a year after the 9/11 attacks and led to a great deal of panic in the Washington DC Area.  The two responsible for these shootings started their murder spree months prior to the attacks that we all know about already.  Give us a like on Facebook, and follow us on twitter and Instagram.

Robert Hansen, also known as the Butcher Baker was a serial killer that lived in Anchorage Alaska.  The actual events, like most of theses films don't exactly match up.  Robert had a special way of treating his victims.  We didn't know about this killer before we saw the movie several months back for the first time.  So give a listen and hear learn abut the deviousness of this more unknown serial killer.   http://www.endthebacklog.org/ https://kardiacmusic.com/robert-hansen/    

We made it to episode 10!  This episode we talk about the life of and John Dupont.  The last name should sound familiar to most as he was the heir to the Dupont chemical company fortune. Now this is about a true crime right?  So whats the crime?  John is an avid supporter of amateur wresting and other sports, and has athletes come to train at his facility.  He ends up murdering one of his trainers Dave Shultz.  Why?  Well listen and find out!

Here we talk about the Spielberg film Catch Me if You Can starring Leonardo Dicraprio and Tom Hanks.  This is not the typical true crime story with guns, murder and all kinds of violence.  Give it a listen in its re-formatted version (sorry if you downloaded previously.  There were some problems in editing that we didn't catch).

Here is our first dive into a film not so big budget, but a made for TV movie, "In Broad Daylight."
