Four of his screenplays are currently in development for feature movies and four of his books have been optioned for movies. His script DEATH FENCES was the grand winner of the Amsterdam, Holland-based 2019 New Visions International film Festival. As an expert in crime history, he is a consultant to the Gangland TV series and has been interviewed on numerous TV programs, including Discovery, NBC Dateline, History, Biography, ID, Reelz, Black Entertainment Television, Starz, and TV 1. George Jung, the drug smuggler immortalized by Johnny Depp in “Blow,” left Weymouth for California in the late '60s with pennies in his pocket, two cases of Budweiser in the backseat and his best pal riding shotgun. Forty years – and four prison stints later – Jung returned to visit his boyhood home at 30 Abigail Adams Circle. He was unsure if neighbors would throw rocks or tell him to “politely leave town.” Jung's homecoming can be seen in the documentary “Boston George,” which charts his improbable journey from Patriot Ledger newsboy to Weymouth High football star to cocaine trafficker for Pablo Escobar's Medellin Cartel. She shares some stories of onset activities, meeting Johnny Deep and George Jeung, including drug use during the filming of the movie. Tim even plays a voicemail he has saved from George. Jennifer was also in numerous music videos for the Rolling Stones and Babyface around this time. This era started Jennifer's personal drug use and abuse, it was manageable for a while, but eventually, it spiraled out of control. She went to rehab under the care of Dr. Drew Pinsky, and eventually made appearances on both 'Sober House' and 'Celebrity Rehab'. Tim Ryan is famously known as A&E's 'Dope Man' and a substance abuse interventionist. But before his fame, he had a rough time with addiction. He and his son Nick would do drugs together. Eventually, Tim wound up in prison, got sober, and tried to get his son sober as well. On his 21 month anniversary of his sobriety, Tim lost his son while in rehab. People heard about how he would use drugs with his son and received a lot of hate and backlash for it. This was tough for Tim to deal with. This started Tim's path to sharing as much as he could about recovery & addiction. Tim is also the Founder of "A Man In Recovery" Foundation. Tim believes the only way to bring about real change in American Drug Policy and the recovery world in general, is through legislative work. He's a big supporter of getting involved at a local level, to make the change you want to see happen in your community. Tim started to get burned out, not being able to say "no" to anyone that needed his help. He was going through his second divorce when he started to feel suicidal. He needed someone to help with everything. Then he met Jennifer. Tim and Jen met in 2019. They hit it off immediately, got married, and started working together. Jen was totally on board with helping as many people as they could. Not only are they both famous and in active recovery, but they are also both proactive in changing lives - sometimes even helping to save them. Their "Dope To Hope" podcast is an example of that, leading many to share their stories of recovery from around the world. They finally feel like they are both in a healthy position and able to help others with their own struggles. Now, Tim and Jenn want to focus on speaking to audiences all over the world. Greed and ambition would end up getting the better of both George Jung and Carlos Lehder Rivas, turning them from brothers into enemies. Despite their perceived invincibility, it was this rivalry that would ultimately bring them down in 1987.

By 1987, Carlos Lehder Rivas and George Jung had scraped together a cocaine smuggling empire fit for kings. Yet as profits grew, the two partners found themselves at odds—diverging away from each other to fulfill their own desires for power and prosperity.

After meeting in a Connecticut prison in 1974, George Jung and Carlos Lehder Rivas began to build what was to become a moderate cocaine operation, smuggling drug shipments from Columbia into the U.S. However, after a few nail biting trial runs, the duo realized they were on the brink of creating an empire that would make them rich.

In the late 1970s, George Jung and Carlos Lehder Rivas would team up to become one of the most infamous trafficking duos in the history of American cocaine. Before they could become professionals though, both men would start from humble origins, padding their resumes out with marajuana trafficking and forays into organized crime.
