This podcast was created by a GEMS-U team using the lesson plan "Toilet Paper Strength". The girls in the video demonstrate the scientific method by testing various brands of toilet paper. They begin by discussing the steps in the scientific method. Then, to review each step, the girls use the experiment described in the lesson plan using pennies, water, and samples of toilet paper. Through this simple video, other students can see a simple version of the scientific method. This is a GEMS-U team composed of students from Centreville Middle School and West Blocton Middle School, both from the Bibb County Schools District.

This podcast gives an overview of the founding and contents of the Pioneer Museum of Alabama in Troy, Alabama. The Pioneer Museum is the state recognized Pioneer museum. It features 17 historic buildings and 18,000 + artifacts which tell the story of rural, agricultural Alabama. The museum offers special programs which are geared to the interested public, as well as, students.
Each student was assigned a different Spanish speaking city to research and create a podcast. The students played the role of a tour guide inviting students to travel to their assigned location. They gathered information and created a story board and narrative in order to complete the podcast. These were shown to all of the Spanish classes throughout the semester.
A young girl, Molly, is feeling very stressed by the demands placed upon her during language arts class. She just doesn't understand nouns. Then, her teacher leaves the room unexpectedly and the young girl discovers that she can learn with the help of her peers. In the end, young Molly finds out that learning is fun!
