    This episode is about how VERY important hydration is for our Elders, I will let you know the early warning signs of dehydration with our Elders. Using specific fruits and vegetables that will give a huge boost to the daily intake necessary to keep them hydrated. A couple of recipes for tasty drinks.  Other ideas on how to entice our elders to take in the fluids needed. Those with Alzheimer's and related Dementia they will often forget to eat or drink.     This very first podcast will give the intention and purpose through tips, on how to wade through and keep up with this disease as it is an ever moving target. How to find silver linings, interviews with primary caregivers, professionals within the field. I have given background on my experiences living with Alzheimer's the fact I survived and how I will help you to survive too.  I started as my moms gofer while she was caring for the elders of our family.  Through osmosis when it became my turn to be the family caregiver I found to my surprise the lessons with the environment of my childhood came out organically. if you like what you hear, please subscribe to receive future episodes and share the show with your friends and others who may find this helpful.  Lets get this conversation started and support each other in overcoming the fear and stigma, from the debilitating disease.
