Without the unknown, life is just a stale reputation of old patterns and memories. It's only when you wander into the unknown that you truly experience living life... Here is my personal compass and what I rely on to make the unknown a little easier to navigate. I hope it helps you on your journey as well!
Getting vulnerable on this episode of Chai with Chhavi. Today's episode is inspired by events that took place this past week. Rejection stinks, but it is something that we will all face at some point in life. Regardless of that, rejection and the opinions of others DO NOT define you. I hope this chat helps anyone who may be dealing with rejection get a new perspective on the situation and the motivation to keep going. YOU ARE ENOUGH.
The game changed when she learned to accept and love herself exactly as she was… I wanted to share a couple of thoughts I journaled about last night. I've been hearing and seeing a lot about people comparing themselves to others, not feeling good enough, and feeling the need to change parts of themselves to feel accepted. Growing up, I struggled with feeling good in my skin quite a bit. There were moments I wished I was skinnier, had a lighter complexion, had clearer skin, or just looked more "beautiful." You can change countless things externally, but nothing will improve until you change your mindset and inner game. When I learned to accept and love myself exactly as I am and embrace what I've been given, the game changed. This doesn't mean that you can't or shouldn't strive to improve yourself; it's about learning to love where you are while getting to where you want to be. You are uniquely and beautifully made. Trying to be a "copy" of someone else is an injustice to you and your excellence, and it robs the world of knowing the best "you" that you can be.
In this episode, I have on my friend Dilan of DNA Fitness UK. Back in February on World Cancer Day, I chatted with Dilan, who shared his journey battling cancer with me. I was so inspired and so moved by his strength and resilience that I needed to share our conversation with you.
