Buzz buzz buzz, and welcome back to the Yellowjackets Hive! For Emily's first livestream of 2026 that is dedicated to Yellowjackets and the upcoming final season. It only felt right to add to the recent buzz and news that's been released regarding the cast FINALLY heading back to Vancouver to start filming the final season, and some casting announcements as well. For this episode, I hope you've got your tin foil hats ready and waiting! We all still have A LOT of unanswered questions about what may end up playing out when the show returns later this year. So join me in the fun of analyzing, dissecting, and endlessly speculating about theories pertaining to the final season that are floating around the fandom. Some topics discussed: Akilah's potential fate moving forward (especially after they released news stating she has been promoted to a series regular), a possible return to the wilderness in the present day, a potential Final Destination tie-in, how things could end up playing out for both Jeff and Callie, and a whole lot more. Theorizing is one of my favorite aspects of podcasting, so this episode was a ton of fun to prepare for and discuss. There is a possibility of a follow-up/part 2 episode regarding theories about the final season. That will happen closer to when the show is back on the air, so keep your eyes peeled for an announcement about that when the time comes!It's such a treat to be chatting about the show that got me into podcasting and content creation once again. The Bros talk about the crazy situation in Mexico with the death of a Cartel leader and the mayhem happening throughout because of it. Next, the Bros discuss the recent passing of Eric Dane, a beloved actor from Grey's Anatomy and Euphoria who died from a short battle with ALS. The guys discuss this haunting disease and the speed of it and turn the conversation into one about showing up and making moments count. NETFLIX has announced that we're getting Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Paquiao 2 in Septmember this year. This comes a week after Floyd announced he was fighting Mike Tyson in Exhibition, and UN-retiring to purse a big event. Actor and writer Scott Turner Schofield has spent his career quietly reshaping what transgender visibility looks like on screen. Mostly, that's down to what games players are in the mood for. Sometimes they want a very deep, thinky game that requires a lot of attention. At other times, a lighter game might be preferred. Setting can also play a role. Yet, what is often the ultimate decider is game length. Knowing when a game will end is helpful in that respect.
