Hour 1: The Giants will be without Daniel Jones when they face the Dolphins this Sunday and perhaps even longer as he deals with a neck injury, Big Blue could be focused on bringing in a new signal-caller this offseason, Julius Randle & the Knicks withered down the stretch and lost to the Nets, Chris Lopresti was in for Jerry Recco all morning long, more of the same for the Yankees, too much baseball talk for Al Dukes' liking, Aaron Rodgers is still talking about his toe, we heard from Mike Tomlin which is always a treat and speaking of treats Boomer's pumpkin bread caused some technical difficulties and a comparison is made that Gio doesn't care much for. ABM (or account-based marketing) is the latest buzzword in the sales world, but how can we integrate this strategy within an existing marketing strategy? More importantly, should you? On today's episode of The Sales Evangelist, Donald is joined by the Director of Global Account-Based Marketing at ON24, Lisset Sanchez-Schwartz, to learn her approach to implementing account-based marketing campaigns successfully. Determine what ABM really means and which type you should utilize. ABM is a cross of a full range of communications, from events to content delivery. It's segmenting customer bases into unique groups where you can apply different and specific messages. In some cases, that could even mean a 1:1 strategy. It's not a tactic or campaign type, but it's an orchestration amongst many team members to holistically approach an account. There are three ABM approaches: one-to-one, one-to-few, and one-to-many. Of course, the personalized you get, the more expensive it is to implement. Determine if an ABM strategy will be effective. Admittedly, this should probably be a discussion before you determine the type of ABM. But remember, not every account needs an ABM strategy attached. ABM needs to be a partnership with sales. (Many places even call it ABX, because it applies to so much more than just marketing.) Lisset's pro tip: Don't try to boil the ocean. It takes money, time, and effort over a long period to see results. Develop the infrastructure to support your ABM approach If you don't have the infrastructure to do retargeting at scale, select a handful of accounts and research. Apply an ABM strategy where it makes sense. To determine if an account might benefit from an ABM strategy, evaluate and research. If you have a limited budget, use information from your sales team to build the most robust plan possible. If you have a larger budget, utilize third-party data to gain more information about a potential company. This is a great way to learn if a company is interested in you (or a competitor.) The more time you spend on the model, the better the backend will be How do you aggregate this information if you don't have the software to find all these data points? Hopefully, you have a CRM. The first-party data you've built up will pay dividends. Start with what you have today. Even if your data isn't the cleanest, start a 1:1 with a company you're more confident about. Lisset's final takeaway? Have the conversation and have patience. A long-term strategy might not seem successful initially, but it will pay dividends down the line with consistency. Visit ON24.com for more company information and connect with Lisset on LinkedIn to learn more. This episode is brought to you in part by Skipio. Are you sick of crickets? There's also his team reveal, captaincy advice and these questions answered: Do I lose Vardy this week to get to Son, or back him against Chelsea and risk missing the Conte Spurs train? Is it worth going Vardy to Kane for a -4? Is it okay to play without a goalkeeper this week if you own Sanchez and a non-playing backup? Who should I get to replace Havertz? Double Man City or double Chelsea defence? Is it a good idea to replace Foden with Son? Is Gallagher a better short to medium term option than Jota? Raphinha to Jota for a hit? How do you feel about getting rid of a player who is returning points but over performing on his underlying stats? Is Mount an easy sell now given the good midfield options available?

On today's show, recorded live at Claima Stories: Feast Portland edition, I speak with Megan Sanchez, Chef and Co-Owner of Guero. Megan grew up admiring her grandmother, who was a hustler, moving to the States with 5 kids and working in restaurants. She never had a master plan, but she walked through every door opened for her. Eventually becoming a landlord. Now, this isn't about Megan's grandmother. But let's just say the apple's apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Megan moved to France after college to teach English but soon after gravitated towards food. Especially cheese. When she returned to the states, she'd work at Shelburne Farms in Vermont, where she'd become a cheesemonger. But it was when she met her business partner Alec, that she would begin to go down a more entrepreneurial path. While selling food out of his apartment, Megan decided to turn his kitchen into a restaurant. They would go on to create a flourishing bicycle taco delivery service. With some naive confidence, Megan and Alec packed up their bags to sell tacos in Portland and eventually sold Tortas. business was booming, and they transitioned from a food truck to a restaurant space called Guero. When recalling how she ended up down this path, Megan shares a story about the impact of her Grandmother on her life today.About Claima Stories with Bimma:Former Nike Marketer, Bimma Williams interviews leading and emerging BIPOC creatives about how they were able to break into the notoriously guarded creative and sneaker industries. Today's episode is a dynamic conversation with Anita Sanchez, Ph.D., Dr. Elizabeth Lindsey, and Tim Harjo about Indigenous Wisdom. Our guests initially came together as a panel to speak about the Hoffman Process during our first-ever virtual Hoffman Conference in April 2021. Their panel discussion titled, Indigenous Voices: Answering the Call to Mend Our World, offered profound wisdom for all of us to heed in these times. Each has been a solo guest on our podcast (links below). Now, we've invited them back to share this wisdom with you. A beautiful part of this conversation is how the Hoffman Process overlaps with Native culture. All three of our guests find the Process to be aligned, and even the same, as elements of their culture. What they share is truly beautiful about what it means to do the inner work in order to realize who we really are. Tim, Elizabeth, and Anita share these core beliefs: separation is an illusion, we are never alone, we must remember who we are, and our modern lives are in need of indigenous wisdom. As Anita suggests, we invite you to "listen with soft ears and expanded heart." More About Our Guests Tim Harjo Timothy Harjo Tim is a member of the Fort Sill Apache Tribe. As a child, he was a student at an Indian Boarding school, as were other members of his family. He did his Process as part of Hoffman Institute's Leadership Path while a student at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. As the General Manager of KNMQ Television in Albuquerque, NM, his vision is to amplify Native voices into the mainstream conversation around how we live with each other and with our Mother Earth. Tim earned a B.S. degree in Management from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. He then earned his Juris Doctorate is from Arizona State University. Tim received his Master's Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University. He also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge. Becoming the best version of ourselves isn't just for us, it's also about providing the opportunity to be able to show up in the best way we can for those we love. Today, I am welcoming Telma to the podcast for a Mentor Session! Telma didn't have the easiest past, but she took it upon herself to create a solid future for her kids by putting the time and energy necessary to become the best version of herself. During her self-acceptance and discovery journey, she uncovered her passion for helping others and became a life coach. Telma put together questions to ask me and they are ones that I hear often about fear, imposter syndrome, authenticity, brand clarity, mentor investment and more! In this episode we talk about: How doubtful thoughts like “can I really do this” are just part of the journey What stops us from putting ourselves out there The importance of being mindful of what we consume How to shift from showing a part of yourself on social media, to showing your whole self Questions to use to evaluate what the right move is for you What to outsource in your business when you're just getting started and what to do yourself Not part of the Girl Gang Community yet? This week on On Story we're diving behind the pages of the 1999 classic horror film The Blair Witch Project with screenwriter Daniel Myrick & his wife and research partner Julia Myrick. Daniel Myrick is a director and screenwriter, most known for co-directing and writing the 1999 psychological horror The Blair Witch Project with Eduardo Sánchez. Considered a seminal work in low budget, filmmaking, as well as being one of the highest grossing films in history, the film ushered in a new methodology of production and grass roots marketing that is still being utilized today. He later went on to pen the screenplays for Believers, which he co-wrote with his now wife, Julia Myrick, Solstice, The Objective and the 2020 sci-fi found footage horror film Skyman.

Simply go to DrinkLMNT.com/contacts to claim your free 8-count sample pack.[00:09:06] They say it's a world of different six inches over and it is a world a difference.[00:10:01] I wasn't secure in myself enough to just give the reigns up to say, all right, you're going to make a decision.[00:10:34] The best advice I got when I became a head coach is that you don't know anything, your first five years of coaching.[00:11:05] The sooner you can realize you don't know anything. And that's okay. And ask the people around you. You will have a lot more success quickly.[00:12:12] My biggest thing with life is doing things that put me in a position to serve others. That's my number one thing is I want to serve others.[00:13:11] I was coaching players. Now I'm coaching coaches and I'm trying to figure out how to serve them in the best way I can.[00:15:36] Let's be real, we all steal everything. Right?[00:16:37] Proceed with as much positive energy as you can and put into it and move forward with it?[00:17:07] The idea of process versus outcome. How do we stay married to the day-to-day process of what we're trying to accomplish, which will then deliver the outcomes that we want versus focusing on the outcome, which gets in the way of doing the daily work.[00:18:26] The premise of coaching is to serve others. It always will be.[00:19:52] How do you filter that information to make it your own is what's key.[00:20:42] My mom and dad had the second and third grade education. They came here from Mexico to create a better life for their family. And one thing I learned from them is the work ethic piece.[00:22:14] Figuring out intentions and what people are going through builds on planting seeds of care and then nurturing that relationship to hopefully make it better.[00:24:50] The formula for success and failure is ability plus effort will give you success and failure. Some of us are born with enormous amount of effort and have no ability and fail. Some of us have great ability, but shall no effort and still fail. The key thing is that effort has to be constant.[00:26:24] Failure is just an opportunity to recalibrate.[00:27:46] But those moments of patting someone on the back have to be deliberate. They can't be forced…you also have to invite failure into your teams because if you don't fail, you're going to fail at the wrong moments and usually the wrong moments are in a game or in a game that matters.[00:30:49] Like Bruce Lee said, you got to be like water, and it's so important because things change so much.[00:34:19] I just didn't know how to ask for help. I felt like I should've known things and I needed to figure them out.[00:37:04]I want to lead by faith and not by fear.
