Master's student Lyubov Lytvyn interviews Dr. Lehana Thabane, who is a research methodologist with interests in the development and application of statistical methods for health research. Dr. Thabane is a Professor and the Associate Chair of McMaster University’s Department in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He is also the Director of the Biostatistics Unit at the Centre for Evaluation of Medicine, the System-Linked Research Unit. In addition, he serves as a Senior Scientist at the Population Health Research Institute of Hamilton Health Sciences & McMaster University.
MPH student Audrey Wong interviews Dr Sarah Frise of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. Dr Frise is a specialist in pharmacoepidemiology. Her research includes the risk evaluation, risk communication, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of risk mitigation.

Sarah Wafa is a 2nd year MPH student at Queen's University who recently completed a 3 month practicum at the WHO headquarters in Geneva. Before coming to Queen's, Sarah completed her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition, majoring in Dietetics at McGill University. Throughout her studies at McGill, Sarah completed 4 internships in various clinical, food service and community settings. Upon finishing her undergraduate degree, Sarah worked as a clinical dietitian in Montréal
A graduate of Trent and Queens Universities, Katelyn was part of the OHRI's RCT titled, "The Age of Red Blood cells in Premature Infants (ARIPI)". Currently, she works in the Cardiac Program at the Kingston General Hospital in the role of a Decision Support Analyst.
Karen started at U of Toronto in Health Studies and Human Biology, going on to an M.Sc in Epidemiology from Queen’s University. She worked with Dr. Kathleen O’Connor and Heather Stuart to look at the relationship between breastfeeding duration and self-efficacy. Currently, Karen is at the Canadian Institute for Health Information as a Research Analyst, and is currently contributing to the 2012 flagship report, Health Care in Canada: A Focus on Wait Times.
