Today we begin our new series, Together! We will look at what it means to be a part of Jesus' church and how each needs each other as we navigate these times.
This week is Pentecost Sunday where we celebrate the birthday and future of Jesus' church. Today, we will look at what's next for the church and how do we continue the mission of Christ together.
This week we continue building on and talking about What's Next! In a world of uncertainty and dealing with things we can't control, how do we continue to move forward into who God wants us to be. Today, we talk about being bold in our faith. The early church, in the midst of struggle and pain, didn't pray for it to stop but they prayed for boldness. This is a great prayer to pray and we will discuss that today.
This morning, we will continue to look at the early church and how they lived in a new and different world. Last week, we talked about how crucial connection is during this time and today, we build off of that and talk about what it means to have UNITY!
As we continue talking about WHAT'S NEXT, we look at the birth of the church and how they live. We've aligned ourselves to focus on the life and mission of Jesus. Then we've been empowered by the Holy Spirit. And now we'll commit ourselves to being connected to each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Last week, we talked about ALIGNMENT as a way to start moving forward and in unison with what Jesus is doing. This week, we will build off of alignment and talk about how God wants to EMPOWER our lives. Jesus tells the disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit because you will receive power. We will look at how we can live aligned and empowered to become who God wants us to be.
Today, we begin our new series “What’s Next”. Jesus had risen from the dead and then ascended, what was next for the disciples? In many ways, our lives have been dramatically changed through this pandemic and many of us have been asking God the same thing: what’s next? Today we begin to look at how do we move forward into this new season with the same uncertainty, but the same God that is in control of all things.
This week, we look at the restoration of Peter. After Peter's denial, Jesus takes the time to personally restore him and commission him. Now that we've left the things that bind behind us, how do we restart our lives? How do we move into this new season as new people? That is our discussion today.
Today we celebrate a very unique Easter Sunday. Even though we are in the middle of a rough time, we know that Jesus is triumphant over all things.
Today we look at the commandment to Love. This season is a dramatic life change and will force us to live differently. So how do we look at loving God, our neighbors, and caring for ourselves during this season?
