Spoiler alert - there's a chance your wedding day won't be *perfect** like all of the wedding magazines and movies tell you. Sure, you may be ecstatic that you're marrying the love of your life - but what about all of the things that went wrong? Weddings are intense, and you know I never shy away from intense and vulnerable topics. Today's episode features a long time friend and fellow newlywed Grace Rice. We sat down and hashed out all of the things that went wrong at our weddings - AND how we're dealing with those feelings of disappointment and anger almost a year later. Frequent Criers.... you asked for it. With everything being said, our wedding was truly magical. I look back on that day remembering how happy I was, how free of anxiety I felt (thanks to the five glasses of wine and champagne I had), and how in love I felt. Even looking back on everything that didn't go as planned, I am still so happy to have experienced it all. It taught me so much about letting go of control, and truly enjoying the moment. I wouldn't change a thing. Just kidding. I would change a lot of things - but that's life. :) See ya later! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/frequentcrierclubpod/support
Frequent Criers! King Arthur has finally arrived! In today's episode we chatted about how we met! As high school sweethearts, this story is pretty funny (and according to tik-tokers, viral worthy?) Hi Frequent Criers! I'm sorry it's been so long. Some things came up & truly just didn't feel like it was a great time to be pushing out content for you all. Today's episode we'll chat where I've been, some bad habits of mine that keep me away from doing the things I love (yay anxiety!) and of course the very scary dog attack that Alfie and I experienced a few weeks back. Arthur will be on the podcast next week, and we'll be answering all of your questions on our relationship, how we navigate OCD and support each other, and of course, the wedding! Hey Frequent Criers! Today has been a rough week, but also an incredible one. This week has taught me so much about myself, my worth, my potential, and truly just how good it feels to be your own advocate. I've never been happier, and I mean that. Here's to new opportunities, and learning to love ourselves a little more. See you next week! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/frequentcrierclubpod/support
Hey all you frequent criers! I apologize for the week vacay but HEY we're back aren't we?? This week's episode was hard to record - I'm not going to lie. I've been feeling anxious and a bit down in the dumps, and wanted to express some of the relationship myths that really grind my gears. It took me years - literal years - to unlearn these things. While these are all my opinions, the point of this is to not tell you what your relationship should look like. The point is to let you know that no one can tell you what your relationship should look like! Not me, not anyone on tv, or your therapist. Your relationship will always be unique to you and your partner. What works for others might be detrimental to you - and vice versa. Next time you're filling your relationship with “shoulds” be sure to take a step back. Should you really feel this way? Is someone else deciding this for you? Let your inner voice speak up in this! It's your relationship, and if it's healthy, who's to say you don't have a choice? I love ya'll. Thanks for listening. :) --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/frequentcrierclubpod/support
Struggling with anxiety in the workplace? You're not alone. Today, I'm here with my good friend Khrystin Garcia. We met while working at a bridal shop, and connected over our challenges with anxiety. Over the past two years, I've seen anxiety more present than ever in my career. Whether it's triggered by an evaluation, a comment from a coworker, or literally being let go (that was fun!), there's always a chance to reframe your anxious thinking and grow. Disclaimer: All of the jobs mentioned and referenced in this episode do not showcase our displeasure with these positions. While most of these jobs challenged us in their own unique ways, we look back on these memories fondly. You grow through what you go through, and if you're struggling with anxiety in the workplace, you will get through it. Not all jobs are good fits, and that's okay. Always do what's best for you and your health, and ask for help when needed. Hey frequent criers! We're back for episode two! First off, I apologize for the absolutely horrid audio here. I've been playing around with which mic to use and well... this one isn't it. :) In this episode, Coral and I answer your questions around mental health, ocd, and of course, whether we're Team Edward or Team Jacob. Quick hint - It's Edward. Always. Hope you Enjoy!
