What better way to start off a new year than to address the emotions we hate talking about? In this episode, we attempt to normalize a basic human emotion that is often considered a sign of weakness - sadness. Accompanying that, we explore ways in which our emotional intelligence (EQ) is heavily impacted, maybe even dependant, on fear. Fear is the driving force in many of our lives and has taken the wheel, steering us down paths that are unsupportive and limiting. By simply acknowledging the root of our fear, we might be able to find clarity and begin to connect the dots regarding our behaviors and past decisions. We need to pull at the root, not the twigs that branch from it.
