In this solo episode of Not Alone, Valeria opens up about the emotional work she's doing behind the scenes as she enters her next stage of growth. From revisiting therapy and learning how to embrace joy after being raised in a “survival household,” to reflecting on vulnerability, creativity, and her openness to new things living in Miami. Valeria shares an honest glimpse into the challenges and breakthroughs shaping her right now. She questions how to be both an emotional and high-functioning person and wonders if it's possible. She answers listener questions with her signature candor, talks about the pressure of always being “on” online, and even revisits stories from her past, including her “trophy wife” days and a behind-the-scenes Victoria's Secret moment that made her step away from modeling. It's a thoughtful, intimate conversation on emotional growth, choosing joy and stepping into a new chapter with more presence and purpose. In today's episode, Darren and I are catching you up on life, health, and some important conversations we need to be having this October. We start with a big life update — selling our house — and then talk about Darren's recent absent seizure. We also dive into Breast Cancer Awareness Month: why it can feel so complicated, how pink-washing misleads people, and where you can actually direct your support to make an impact (spoiler: I'm featuring Cancer Culture, and you'll find all the info in the show notes below). On a lighter note, I share my new favorite morning ritual: a whole lemon squeezed into water, with lemon zest and a pinch of gray Celtic salt. We break down the surprising benefits for your immune system, liver, hydration, digestion, and overall energy. We're also talking about what's happening inside the Not Today Cancer Community this month — including our weekly giveaway of a free year membership! October's theme is sprouts, and you'll learn why growing your own broccoli sprouts on your kitchen counter might be one of the most powerful nutrition hacks out there. Finally, we chat about the current protein craze — why protein matters but also why you need to be cautious about the type you're using. Not all proteins are created equal, and some can do more harm than good.

This week, Jason is joined by reality TV and Jupiter, Florida's favorite couple, Tyler Cameron and Tate Madden! Many know Tyler from his numerous reality TV appearances, more specifically in Bachelor Nation where he was looking to find love. Little did he know that true love was right under his nose having met Tate while working at his company in Florida. Tyler and Tate have continued working together in their own entrepreneurial endeavors, including a new career pivot for Tyler. Tyler and Tate open up about where life and business have taken them since reality TV. Tyler shares his transition into real estate, what it's really like working as a realtor compared to being a contractor, and why—despite signing with Serhant—he won't be appearing on Selling Manhattan. He talks about the importance of being part of a team, his Emmy nomination, and the best house flip they've pulled off so far, plus why the “buy and hold” tactic matters in real estate. Tate dives into building her personal brand online, blocking out the noise of social media, and the influence her mom had on their early DIY projects. Together, they reflect on long-term professional and personal planning, the challenges that come with doing things that feel scary or uncomfortable, and how their personalities balance one another. From whether reality TV could still be in their future, to how their parents defend them online, to what today's reality shows can learn from younger generations—Tyler and Tate leave no stone unturned. And of course, some rapid-fire fun to wrap it all up. Tate and Tyler reveal all this and so much more in another episode you can't afford to miss! [Watch the episode here] This week, it's part life update, part deep dive (because we always end up going there). One of us has been a total Debbie, the other a full Karen lately, but we owned it, laughed about it, and unpacked what's really been going on.We ponder philosophically: Are we living or just existing? How do we know the difference? Plus, Tully shares why she's officially boycotting a certain place after what they did recently (spoiler: she's fired up and salty). It's real, it's honest, and it's the kind of unfiltered conversation that makes it feel like you're having a conversation with your best friends. Welcome back to The Ripple Effect Podcast! I'm so glad you're here for this solo episode. Think of it like we're sitting down over coffee, swapping stories about life, relationships, creativity, and yes, even some of the messy stuff we all go through. This episode will be a Q&A session, where I will answer some questions posed to me by Ripplers. Lately, I've been diving into some fantastic books. I'm making my way through Ryan Holiday's books, and I've been taking notes like crazy from Play Bigger. It's such a powerful read on category design, becoming a market leader, and finding your unique value proposition. On the music side, my heart is full, thanks to Bruce Springsteen's Lost Tracks Box set (unreleased songs that are pure magic!), and I've fallen down the rabbit hole with Charlie Parker's jazz albums. I've been loving podcasts like The Tim Ferriss Show, Clear + Vivid by Alan Alda, and Founders. But this episode isn't just about books and music. I'll let you in on my life as a caregiver for my 90-year-old dad, and how I've been handling the stress that comes with it. Spoiler: it hasn't been easy. But leaning into creativity has made all the difference. In particular, journaling, writing on my vintage typewriter, block printing, woodworking, and even baseball card collecting have brought me peace, joy, and a sense of fun. More than anything, this conversation is about finding ways to build authentic relationships, work through stress as an entrepreneur, and lean on faith when life feels uncertain. It's about discovering those small things that create positive Ripples for yourself and the people around you. Hey BA Fam! Mandi, Yanely, and Chris are back at the Brown table with real talk about life, business, and the news that’s shaping our money and our sanity. This week, Mandi kicks things off with a story about her busted laptop, a wild Apple Store experience, and how she stumbled onto a secret financing program for small business owners. From cracked screens to unexpected leases, we’re breaking down the ways solopreneurs can stretch their resources without drowning in debt. But that’s not all — we go from tech fixes to life updates: Yanely is thinking about their next big move (Miami? Barcelona? Van life?) Chris gets a crash course in babysitting two kids under four — and gains a whole new respect for parents. Mandi opens up about stress, sleep struggles, and why she’s finally considering a CPAP machine. Then, we shift gears and dig into the hard stuff happening in the world right now — including DC’s state of emergency, over-policing in Black and brown neighborhoods, and how authoritarian tactics abroad are starting to feel way too familiar here at home. It’s equal parts personal, political, and practical — the way we always do on Brown Ambition.
