Today we are revisiting a powerful conversation from the With Whit archives with holistic psychiatrist Dr. Ellen Vora that still deeply resonates. In it, Dr. Vora unpacks the difference between "true" and "false" anxiety and how our bodies often hold the clues to what we're feeling. We get into how physical imbalances like sleep, hormones, and blood sugar can affect our mental health, and how learning to listen to our bodies can help us respond with more clarity and compassion. With so many of us navigating stress and uncertainty, this conversation feels more relevant than ever- and the perfect time to revisit. This episode is brought to you by HERS and Sam Edelman. In this solo deep-dive episode, Dr. Alexandra will be exploring rebounds. Maybe you are fresh out of a breakup and you've crossed paths with someone you're interested in, but you're scared that pursuing this feels “rebound-y” and therefore foolish. Maybe you're seeing someone who is recently out of a relationship and you're worried about becoming their rebound. Maybe you've had concerns about a rebounding couple in your world. Or maybe you're simply curious about the process of healing between relationships. Wherever you're coming from, this episode will surely leave you with a unique and nuanced perspective on healing before entering a new relationship that will be useful to you. First, Dr. Alexandra will talk about rebound relationships and dig into the rhetoric around them, including some surprising research that may run counter to the typical view of rebound relationships (and then some caveats to this research - shades of grey galore!). With this groundwork laid out, she is then going to offer you a 9-Task framework for doing a rebound with Relational Self-Awareness – how to keep a new relationship healthy while also continuing to process whatever your previous relationship left you with. And if you're the partner of someone who is rebounding, you can repurpose the framework for your own situation. We've seen in Exodus that things have gone terribly wrong for the people of Israel. They've broken the sacred covenant by making an idol and worshipping it. What will God do in the face of such failure? What about when WE fail? Come this week and see God's astonishing response in Exodus 34 and how it relates to us. Welcome to the Memoirs of an LDS Servant Teacher Podcast, hosted by Maurice Harker—a faith-based resource for those striving to strengthen their marriages and develop greater self-mastery through gospel-centered principles.Important note: This podcast and its programs are not officially affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They are created by those who strive to live its teachings and apply them to real-life challenges. In this episode, Maurice explores the gospel psychology of new beginnings—and why many people get stuck believing their story is “finished,” their identity work is “done,” or their mistakes define their future. This conversation covers powerful, practical principles for personal healing, recovery, and family hope, including:Why your identity statement should be a ritual (review + revise), not a one-time projectRepentance as re-harmonizing with God (not “getting caught” or “being in trouble”)The “discover → plan → act → reflect” cycle as a divine training system for growthHow discouragement and shame can slow progress more than the actual mistakeRecognizing satanic self-talk and replacing it with edifying truth (Moroni 7)Finding hope when family members are off the covenant path—and trusting God's long timelineWhy healing is built through small daily steps, not one dramatic “light switch” momentChrist as the steady foundation when marriage, parenting, and life feel chaoticIf you feel stuck in guilt, fear, or discouragement—or you're carrying pain about your marriage or your children—this episode will help you reconnect to Christ's promise: you can begin again. For deeper training, visit www.lazaruslectures.com.
"Have faith. Let it begin." On his 48th birthday, host Angel Santana opens the mic with a laugh, a children's song, and a quiet truth: this moment—full of family, questions, and playful chaos—is also an invitation. As Ariel and Noah color the room with wonder, Angel turns ordinary domestic scenes into a sacred narrative about second chances and the life God keeps shaping. With gentle storytelling, he reframes birthdays as sacred checkpoints—opportunities to love better, forgive, heal, and step deeper into purpose. He speaks to listeners like an old friend, blending gratitude and vulnerability to nudge anyone listening toward a step of faith. Join the Have Faith family in this short, intimate episode for birthday reflections, a prayerful reminder that your story isn't finished, and a hopeful call to believe that God is not done with you yet.

In this episode, host Ashley Blackington sits down with Caroline Benefield—digital marketer, stepparent, and someone who found herself living a decade of life in 18 months. Caroline shares what it really means to become the third parent in a blended family, how she navigated losing both parents while building a new family dynamic, and what happens when your dream job turns out not to be your dream.Between January 2022 and June 2023, Caroline got engaged, bought a house, moved in with her fiancé and his two kids, lost both parents, managed two estates as an only child, canceled her wedding, got married on her back porch, left corporate life, wrote a romance series, and started a digital marketing business. Through it all, she's been learning how to show up as a secure, trusted adult in her stepkids' lives—with boundaries, intention, and a lot of therapy. In This Episode-What it means to be "the third parent" in a blended family—not the replacement, not the villain, but an additional secure adult-Why Caroline's approach is about enhancing existing support rather than reinventing the wheel-How she and her husband decided which parenting responsibilities she'd take on—and which ones stay with the biological parents-The importance of moving into a new house together rather than slotting into an existing family home-Navigating grief while building a new family—losing her father after a decade-long decline and her mother suddenly within 18 months-Estate planning lessons: why her mom's organized estate closed in 9 months while her dad's is still open after 4 years-What happens when your dream job (becoming a romance author) turns out not to be your dream-Why she started a digital marketing business specifically for moms and women—the people shortest on time with the most to give-The fiber arts connection: how teaching the kids to crochet and needlepoint became a way to share something her own mom taught herKey Quotes"My job as a stepparent is not to reinvent the wheel in their lives. My job is to come in and give them extra support and resources to navigate all of the complications and emotions that come with little bodies and little brains."— Caroline Benefield"If you are not married to your partner and you don't intend to be, please, please set them up for success. Please set everything up."— Caroline Benefield on estate planningResources & LinksCaroline's website: southerngritdigital.comServices: Digital marketing for creatives, entrepreneurs, moms, and women (email marketing, compliance audits, digital ads, full-service packages) Action Steps for Listeners1. If you're dating someone with kids: Ask yourself if you can be a safe and secure adult in their lives. That's the starting point.2. If you're in a blended family: Have clear conversations about boundaries and responsibilities before integration gets messy. Who handles discipline? What decisions require both biological parents?3. Estate planning reminder: Set up rights of survivorship, trusts, and clear documentation. Even if you have a will, it's not enough if things have to go through probate.4. If you're a long-term partner but not married: Make sure you're set up legally. Your partner's kids will be next of kin, not you, unless paperwork says otherwise.5. Therapy isn't optional: Caroline, her husband, and their relationship all have their own therapy. It's how they navigate the hard stuff.6. It's Tuesday, it's a new Hallmark movie. Giddy up! ABOUT ROMANCE AT HOPE RANCH Hope Morgan sets out to begin a new chapter of her life—fulfilling her childhood dream of running a ranch in the picturesque town of Ruidoso, New Mexico and reviving the beloved Giddy Up Gala. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR ROMANCE AT HOPE RANCH February 28. 2026 | Hallmark CAST & CREW OF ROMANCE AT HOPE RANCH Alison Sweeney as Hope Morgan Gabriel Hogan as Jack Bennet Scott Martin as Tom Grayson Stephanie Beran as Lori Bennet BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS We meet Hope who is dropping her daughter Maggie off at college. She's sad. She's crying. But she's gotta get over it quick because she's moving into her new ranch - Hope's Ranch. She's pumped! We then meet Jack who is the brother of Hope's best friend, Lori. Lori keeps telling Jack to tell her, tell her, TELL HER WHAT?! Hope is doing some work on the ranch, moving hay a few feet when a guy shows up. His name is Tom. He's her neighbor and when he finds out she's listening to country music, he's pumped. He's also pumped to find out that she's bringing back the Giddy Up Gala. Bad news though - Inspector Dave shows up and gives her a list of things she needs to do and get signed off on before the Gala. When she and Tom go out to get some horse feed, she sees Jack and she's not thrilled. They grew up together and definitely had a thing and he's still in love with her. She's like you think you could just move here and buy a place and I'd bump into you and we'd just pick up where we left off?! NO SIR! She starts working on prep for the Gala, driving around handing out invitations, and having flirty flirty fun times with Tom. But for reasons I don't understand, she starts letting Jack help out with stuff that needs to get done for the Gala. Everything is going well until the inspector comes. There are issues. She's freaking out and freaks out on ol' Jack over there. They end up making out and kissing, just in time for the Giddy Up Gala. This week felt heavy, not catastrophic, not dramatic, just layered. I'm sharing about our recent surrogate embryo transfer and finding out it didn't take. Even when you know the statistics, hope quietly builds a future in the back of your mind, and each time that future dissolves, the grief is real. I talk about what it feels like to move through disappointment when your life is objectively full and beautiful, and how gratitude and grief can sit side by side without canceling each other out. I also get into the complicated tension of ambition and motherhood. Missing a camping trip with Sonny and Timmy. Launching new projects. Turning 41. Wondering how I want to be remembered - as ambitious, present, steady, joyful? Can you be all of them at once? This episode is really about capacity and how much we can hold. Absence and abundance. Career momentum and family tenderness. Disappointment and deep gratitude. Maybe adulthood isn't about resolving the contradictions. Maybe it's about becoming spacious enough to carry them. Audio taken from the live teaching "A Biblical Battle Plan For Finishing Well - 5 Ways To Safeguard Your Spiritual & Moral Life" - https://youtu.be/IV0QndmMg44I believe Proverbs 4:23–27 gives us one of the clearest battle plans God has provided for us in Scripture for protecting our spiritual and moral lives. In our text, Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, is speaking to his son, but today the Holy Spirit is speaking to every believer who wants to not only start well, but also finish well. The text shows us five critical “gates” we must diligently guard if we are going to walk in purity and integrity in a morally toxic world.Guardrail #1 - Guard Your HeartGuardrail #2 - Guard Your MouthGuardrail #3 - Guard Your EyesGuardrail #4 - Guard Your PathsGuardrail #5 - Guard Your FeetKey Scriptures used in today's teaching: Proverbs 4: 20-27Other Scriptures referenced: Matthew 6:22-23; Proverbs 4:27; Psalm 32:8; Jude 24Unless otherwise noted, most Scripture will be read from the New Living Translation (NLT) Bible. If you prayed with Tiff, click here https://lostlamb.org/ and let him know!
