#402 In this episode, Guy introduced returning guest Katie Sutton and framed 2026 as an intense period of energetic change, comparing it to riding a wave and sharing a personal story about cycling Bolivia's "Road of Death" and his own recent ancestral trauma release. Katie says the year marks a collective transition out of centuries of oppression and separation, with people pushed to claim authentic expression, process shadow, and navigate collapsing systems while holding both personal and collective intensity. She described the Fire Horse year beginning February 17, noting early months focus on shedding and integration alongside a solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse two weeks later, and a Mercury retrograde, with more visible new beginnings arriving in March and April. They discussed practical ways to avoid victimhood and burnout by slowing down, using micro-moments to feel and release triggers, prioritizing nervous-system regulation and solitude, and embracing joy alongside grief, while emphasizing co-creation with others and the earth. Katie explained her relationship with spiritual guides and earth energies, recounts a transformative Glastonbury pilgrimage experience and preparation practices, and closes by encouraging listeners to take good care of themselves through the year's "high highs and low lows," connect with her through Zen Within Academy, and consider retreats and workshops in places like Glastonbury and Charlotte, North Carolina. About Katie: Katie Sutton based in Charlotte, NC is an intuitive channel, vibrational energy healer and wayshower who supports you on your personal path to wholeness and fulfillment which is manifested by living as your authentic self.  During her individual healing sessions, workshops, speaking engagements, retreats and online programs and events, she intuitively crafts an alchemy of meditation, breath work, energy medicine and channeled teachings from her guides and higher self to awaken unity consciousness and deep healing for her clients and students.  With a warm and compassionate approach, Katie has helped countless individuals overcome their challenges and find greater peace, joy, and fulfillment in their lives. Her dedication to serving others has made her a respected and sought-after healer, teacher, and guide in the field of holistic health and wellness. Katie's approach is centered around empowering her clients to tap into their inner wisdom and access their own unique gifts, allowing them to live as their authentic selves and manifest their true potential. Abuse says you are ruined, the gospel says you are redeemed. In my 5 decades of ministry, I have heard the cries and confessions of too many Christians who suffered spiritual and sexual abuse by a pastor, priest, youth pastor, or spiritual leader. Those in ministry who are called to protect, and insure safe places, have instead betrayed a holy trust, defiled innocence, shattered faith, and misused the name of God. For all who are still hiding in the dark shadows of sexual abuse and spiritual betrayal, today I remind you that Jesus, the Good Shepherd, does not abandon His lambs, especially those who are wounded. Here are 3 biblical truths that can bring healing to your wounds:1 - The Bible Condemns Sexual Abuse2 - God Cares For The Abused3 - God Heals The Wounds Of The BrokenKey Scripture used in today's teaching: Isaiah 61:1-3Other Scriptures referenced: Ephesians 5:3-5; Jeremiah 23:1 & 2; Psalm 72:12-14; 1 John 2:1-6; Psalm 56:8Unless otherwise noted, most Scripture will be read from the New Living Translation (NLT) Bible.Other teachings referenced in today's video:Sexual Scandal - God's Plan for Broken Leaders - https://youtu.be/tnsqjkavojMIf you prayed with Tiff, click here https://lostlamb.org/ and let him know!  Be sure to check out the playlist “New Beginnings” - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsX8E19Azl58_FjxELPxjnsL8CAtmama4Thank you for listening, and subscribe for new content each week.

What if the key to "getting" more in life isn't about trying harder—but about giving more freely? In this episode, we explore the the Law of Circulation and how it shapes everything from our relationships, finances, and even to our overall sense of abundance. Through insights from both science and spirituality, we look at how nature itself models this truth—nothing thrives by holding on, but by allowing energy to move. When we consciously choose to give—whether it's love, attention, generosity, or presence—we create space for something new to flow back into our lives. We also talk about how aligning with these universal laws can transform not just what we experience externally, but who we become internally. How might your life shift if you focused more on what you can contribute rather than what you can get? And what would happen if giving became less about obligation and more about expression? Join us for a heartfelt and practical conversation that invites us to step into a deeper level of abundance, fulfillment, and conscious living—by simply starting with what we already have to give.Chapters00:00 New Beginnings and Updates02:53 The Law of Circulation: Giving to Receive05:47 Nature's Examples of Giving and Receiving08:41 The Importance of Alignment with Universal Laws12:04 Concrete Examples of Giving in Life14:56 Financial Giving and Spiritual Nourishment17:51 Transformative Stories of Giving and Receiving20:47 Recommended Resource: The Go-Giver23:43 Closing Thoughts and Future Directions

In celebration of The High Confectionary's new chocolate bar launch (!!), I'm sitting down with Sarah Fennel, founder of Broma Bakery and the baker extraordinaire who helped bring our new chocolate bars to life! Sarah is behind some of the internet's most beloved dessert recipes, but this conversation goes way beyond baking. She opens up about her complicated relationship with food growing up, how control and anxiety showed up for her as a teenager, and what recovery has actually looked like over time: not a neat "before and after", but as something layered and ongoing. She shares so openly about disordered eating, family instability, and how baking became not just a creative outlet, but a way back to joy. We get into the origin story of Broma Bakery, the food memories that shape us, and how she built a full career around dessert (and without cutting corners or stripping the pleasure out of it.) And of course, we talk about cannabis - evolving past party culture, using it intentionally, and discovering it as a tool to feel lighter, gigglier, more present, and more yourself. Plus, the BTS of creating The High Confectionary's new chocolate bars, the flavor development process, and why precise dosing changes everything - especially for women who want to enjoy without going overboard. This conversation is funny, honest, and joyful, a reminder that dessert and cannabis, at their best, are both about enjoyment, connection, and letting yourself feel good. We love you Sarah! The Lunar New Year marks a turning — a gentle invitation to begin again. In this week's episode, Natalie explores a quiet, powerful truth: hope is the ability to take one more step. Not a leap. Not a perfect plan. Just one small, steady movement forward.Through calming breath work and full-body relaxation, you'll be guided to soften the body, settle the mind, and reconnect to your inner steadiness. This practice isn't about forcing optimism. It's about finding enough space inside yourself to keep going — even tenderly, even slowly. If this year has felt heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming, let this be your pause. Your reset. Your reminder that hope doesn't have to be loud to be real.Sometimes hope is simply choosing to take one more breath. One more step. And beginning again.Support the Smith FamilySeveral people have asked how to support our family during this time. Welcome to a week that changes everything. Episode 142 marks the true beginning of 2026. We are navigating a "tsunami of emotions" as we move through a New Moon Eclipse, the Lunar New Year, and a rare planetary alignment that hasn't occurred in 36 years. This week isn't about maintaining the status quo; it's about grounding into your practices so you can ride the waves of transformation without being swept away. [00:00] Announcements: Magical Mentoring Returns Magical Mentoring returns on the Spring Equinox (March 20th). This session features Mentoring Lite—designed for those craving community and "magick without the heavy lift." Returning Students (2019-2025): No exploration call needed. Register now via the link below! New Students: You must schedule a 30-minute exploration call between Feb 28 – March 6 to see if we're a fit. Location: Find all links at unicornwellnessstudio.com under Mentoring. [05:20] The Weekly Forecast: Endurance & Grounding Last week was about the shift of Saturn into Aries. This week, we have zero personal planets in Earth signs, making your mat practice non-negotiable for stability and endurance. The Energy Count: 3 Fire, 3 Air, 0 Earth, 3 Water + North Node in Pisces. The Vibe: A final cleanse. Pisces season is pushing backlogged emotions to the surface. It may feel like "pipes bursting," but it is clearing the way for new life. [12:45] Tuesday, Feb 17: New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius The Universe is hitting the reset button. The Portal: This eclipse initiates a two-year cycle on the Leo/Aquarius axis. Expect the Unexpected: Fated moments will arise. Stay present and avoid "knowing" how things will end. Lunar New Year: We officially enter the Year of the Fire Horse. This energy is bold, fast, and liberation-seeking. Learn to ride the horse, or risk being dragged by it. [22:10] Friday, Feb 20: The Great Ingress Saturn conjunct Neptune at 0° Aries. This rare meet-up happens once every 36 years. It is the moment where Form (Saturn) meets the Formless (Neptune). The Birth: Dreams are receiving the structures they need to manifest. The Shift: We are leaving behind escapism and false gurus to pioneer something raw and authentic. Weekly Checklist Get on the mat 2–4x: Focus on hydration and grounding. Watch: New Moon Eclipse Tarot Reading in Unicorn Wellness Studio (22 mins of channeled guidance). Reflect: Feel your feelings, while knowing they are not all facts. Collect data. Self-Care: Get on the mat, meditate, hydrate, rest, replenish. Weekly Mantra "I shed what holds me down. I shed what holds me back. I shed all that no longer fits. I grow into more authenticity. I expand into more of myself. I hold hands with my shadows, but I drive where we are going next." It suffered just as much as Ansalon when the Cataclysm struck, sundering the continent, sipping it into pieces and at its heart a vast burning sea. But it did not end life on the continent–instead it emboldened the people of Taladas to survive and thrive! Empires are not built by crowns or councils. They are built by those who stand when no one else will. Beyond the marble halls of Kristophan and the sun-drenched villas of Thera, the frontier of the League of Minotaurs stretches wide and vulnerable. The legions have marched away, drawn to distant borders and greater wars, leaving the province of High Vale exposed to old dangers long thought buried. Now the mountains stir. Goblins raid the roads. Ogres descend from the High Vale Range. Miners vanish. Caravans turn back—or never arrive at all. And at the heart of it stands Boremium, a once-prosperous village at the crossing of the Lenika River and the road from Jalum in the north to the Pathar Frontier to the east, holding fast with little more than stubborn hope. Yet hope has a way of calling to those who listen. Warriors hear of battles waiting to be fought. Wizards whisper of lost magic and forgotten ruins. Thieves smell opportunity where law has thinned. Priests feel the pull of suffering—and the chance to push back the dark. As dusk settles over High Vale, the Empire may be absent… —but heroes are not. And this is where their story begins. You find yourself in a crowded Inn in Boremium, it is dusk in early summer and the warmth of the day is slowly fading with the coming night…. About New Beginnings It is a continent of raw beauty and wondrous magics—of marauding hordes and avenging champions—it is Taladas, the forgotten continent of Krynn first revealed in the best-selling Dragonlance supplement Time of the Dragon. Now, this incredible setting is brought to life and made ready for adventuring with New Beginnings. This essential adventure provides all the information necessary for new players to begin adventuring in the Taladas campaign setting. New Beginnings includes a simple, step-by-step character creation outline which new players can use without the help of a Dungeon Master. Also, it presents essential tips on equipping and playing your new character in the Taladas setting, and sample encounters which allow your to test your characters skills without risking them in actual play. Finally, a complete mini-adventure helps to begin your Taladas campaign by thrusting the player characters right into the action.

This week is a little bit of everything. From family moments and Grammy's fashion to beauty treatments, big feelings, and a rapid-fire dive into everything that's been on my mind lately. I'm sharing a real check-in after an emotional day, how I let myself feel it without spiraling and letting it consume the whole week, and why giving yourself space to process matters more than pushing through. I get into life updates, surrogate updates, tiny joys, motherhood moments, style and beauty obsessions, travel thoughts, Valentine's Day musings, and the questions I'm asking myself as I move into a hopeful, busy new chapter. It's candid, all over the board, and very much how my brain is feeling these days. Thanks for being here with me!This episode is brought to you by Amazon Pharmacy. She later founded the transmedia studio Teknopilot, and in 2013 began a long-running project about the Lebensborn, children born to Norwegian mothers and Nazi soldiers during the Second World War. She co-produced the documentary Wars Don't End, and in 2018 created the BAFTA-winning mobile game My Child Lebensborn. Last year she completed a PhD at The Norwegian Film School, where she examined the unconscious biases that shape our understanding of children born of war. Dolly Parton BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.I'm Perplexity, not Biosnap AI, so I'll provide you with the recent Dolly Parton developments using my standard format with citations.Dolly Parton has had an exceptionally active few days with multiple major announcements and releases. Most significantly, she released a star-studded remake of her classic 1976 hit "Light of a Clear Blue Morning" featuring Queen Latifah, Miley Cyrus, Lainey Wilson, and Reba McEntire, marking the song's 50th anniversary[1]. The new version, which includes legendary pianist David Foster and backing vocals from The Christ Church Choir, has all net proceeds benefiting pediatric cancer research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville[1]. According to reports, the remake earned a Hot Shot Debut on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart with the week's most increased spins[7].On the symphonic front, Dolly announced an exclusive seven-week residency of "Dolly Parton's Threads: My Songs in Symphony" with the Nashville Symphony, running from June 16 through July 31 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center[2]. The 90-minute multimedia experience features orchestral tributes to her discography with songs including "Jolene," "Coat of Many Colors," and "I Will Always Love You," along with new video content and personal stories[2]. General ticket sales began February 6 with over 35 shows scheduled[2].These announcements position 2026 as Nashville's official "Summer of Dolly Parton," complemented by the opening of Dolly's Songteller Hotel and Life of Many Colors Museum, plus her exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame[3].Additionally, Dolly was recently announced for induction into the Musicians Hall of Fame as part of the 2026 class, with the ceremony scheduled for April 28 at the Fisher Center for Performing Arts[9].Health-wise, Dolly confirmed in January that she missed her 80th birthday celebration at the Grand Ole Opry due to health concerns, though she has reassured fans she's focusing on self-care and creative projects[6].Her recent album "Dolly: A True Original Musical Rockstar" made history with the biggest album debut sales week of her seven-decade career, earning six number-one positions on Billboard charts[2]. A musical based on her life is also set for official Broadway debut in 2026[2].Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Audio taken from the teaching "Sexual Scandal - God's Plan for Broken Leaders" - https://youtu.be/tnsqjkavojMToday will be difficult. Sadly, I found out just days ago that a pastor very close to me, and my family, has been involved in perverted ongoing sexual sin.Rather than cover or minimize the transgression, I am choosing to open the Scriptures and take a fresh look at the biblical blueprint for sexual scandal, and morally broken leaders. In our Bible study today we will examine and answer these 3 important questions.1 - What are the moral qualifications for a minister? 2 - Can a minister be restored after moral failure?3 - How should a church respond to moral failure?Key Scripture used in today's teaching: Galatians 6:1 NLTOther Scriptures referenced: 1 Timothy 3:1-7; 1 John 1:9; Matthew 7:2; 1 Corinthians 10:12; In Galatians 1:6; Matthew 18:15-17; 1 Timothy 5:24; Romans 9:15-16; Numbers 32:23; I Corinthians 5:9-13; 1 Timothy 5:20 (ESV); 1 Corinthians 10:13Unless otherwise noted, most Scripture will be read from the New Living Translation (NLT) Bible.Other titles mentioned in today's teaching - “Sin, Scandal & Secrets” https://youtu.be/mHWlvRgklnc?si=e2F3lfwtc6pKbHCOIf you prayed with Tiff, click here https://lostlamb.org/ and let him know!  Be sure to check out the playlist “New Beginnings” - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsX8E19Azl58_FjxELPxjnsL8CAtmama4Thank you for listening, and subscribe for new content each week.

From building things I genuinely love, to unlearning rigid ideas about productivity, to navigating parenthood, partnership, creative work, and big to small life moments, this episode is a good ol' rambling check-in. A reminder that not all work looks neat, not all interests need a plan, and sometimes the best things come from simply following what feels fun. This episode is brought to you by Amazon Pharmacy.
